A witness tells TMZ. David was behind a car that stopped suddenly. David then swerved to the left to avoid hitting the car and went into oncoming traffic. David slammed into a car going in the opposite direction. We're told David was on his way to Burbank airport to board a private jet which was going to Las Vegas, for the grand opening of Sugar Factory -- a candy store at the Paris Hotel. He was supposed to attend a party hosted by Kim Kardashian. UPDATE: He's being taken away by ambulance right now. UPDATE 3:13 PM PT: Authorities now say the drivers of both vehicles suffered minor to moderate injuries. | Walking Dead Season 2 Release Date & Updates Video Streaming Posted: 05 Mar 2011 05:50 AM PST 
Robert Kirkman is busy promoting the DVD & Bluray release of Walking Dead which means we all win since he cant help but also talk about Walking Dead Season 2. First off we might as well address the question of when it will release. It was earlier rumored that it would make a summer release to help spread the peak ratings from AMC since they already get great ratings for FearFest. Robert Kirkman has confirmed that it wont be a summer release. AMC is heading for a fall release, likely in October for the 13 new episodes of Walking Dead Season 2. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly he also talked briefly about what we can expect from season 2 saying that it will again focus on the human dynamic with us seeing alot more of the Laurie and Andrea characters and playing up the drama between Rick and Shane which really came to a head in the final episodes. Although Kirkman was not willing to discuss to much about the locations and plot of Season 2 he was willing to say that we will finally get to see Hershels' farm which we speculated on already. As far as what is going on with the writing and directing Kirkman and Frank Darabonte are locked up working hard writing the scripts and as with last season Frank Darabonte will showcase his skills behind the camera directing again. Needless to say I am incredibly excited for Season 2 of Walking Dead. Its a great concept and with the expanded extra seven episodes over Season 1 this new season of Walking Dead means even more zombie madness!  NAACP Image Awards 2011 has announced its winners at a live ceremony in Los Angeles, California on Friday, March 4. In music, John Legend and The Roots dominated the pack. They bagged two gongs, one for Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration and the other for Outstanding Album. This year, the prize-giving event comes under fire for celebrating Jay-Z, Minaj, P. Diddy, Kanye and other artists who often use offensive lyrics and derogatory images. "It is unconscionable that the NAACP would sully its brand, squander its legacy, and take such a stand contrary to the aspirations and dreams of the mainstream of the African-American community," said Reverend Delman Coates, senior pastor of the Mt. Ennon Baptist Church. "While artists are free to produce their own art, it is not acceptable for public corporations and established civil right organizations to sanction the kinds of lyrics promoted by some of these artists," he continued. "These are the wrong images for a civil rights organization to nominate and endorse."  |

If ever Mendis was sitting in a corner somewhere wondering how easily he could be forgotten, someone should have walked up to him and said, Relax, the Aussies are coming.
