Last match show some outstanding inning form Brag Hodge who scored 54* out of 29 balls, while for the Mumbai Indians concerns are high regarding their performance.

Match Venue and Date

The second Qualifier IPL match will be played at the famous Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 24, 2013. The teams Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals will be fighting it out in the match starting at 8:00 pm.

Rajasthan Royals

When the team Rajasthan Royals made it in the news for its players being involved in the match fixing scandal the team lost its winning spree. There were many eyes that were clinched to the team as how it is going to face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their eliminator match battle. But none has thought what happened at the eliminator match last night.

Brad Hodge took every one with a surprise and people were forced to think what actually means. His resurrection in the IPL season came at the most needed moment leading Royals for a win. He marked a 54* out of 29 balls inning which made Rajasthan Royals hail over the Darren Sammy's exclusive efforts to bring Sunrisers on top.  In this match yet again eyes will be on Hodge to show some best of his innings to make way for the Royals in the final battle while Shane Watson, Ajinkya Rahane and skipper Rahul Dravid will also be important. James Faulkner and Kevon Cooper yet again need to take care of the bowling.

RR vs MI

Mumbai Indians

For making their way to the finals and settle their score of the Qualifier 1 defeat team Mumbai Indians needs to buckle up their play. This match yet again proved the inefficiency of the team MI to stabilize themselves   on the other pitches then their home ground where they maintain a 100% win score. In their last battle with Chennai Super Kings team trembled while the talk of the match was absence of Master blaster continuously.

Captain Rohit Sharma must have clearly understood the pros and cons of the batting of his team and needs to work on it.  In the last match team was at 86 for 1 at the end of 8 overs but then introduction of R Jadeja by CSK got team into troubles. He dismissed Karthik and Smith in the consecutive overs. So the question remains the same whether the MI batting order will be able to face RR impressively.

In bowling section once again Mitchell Johnson, Harbhajan Singh, Pragyan Ojha and Lasith Malinga will be important.
