Google Latitude is a location-aware mobile app

Google Latitude is a location-aware mobile app developed by Google. Latitude allows a mobile phone user to allow certain people to track their location. Via their own iGoogle accounts, the user's cell phone location is mapped on Google Maps. The user can control the accuracy and details of what each of the other users can see — an exact location can be allowed, or it can be limited to identifying the city only. For privacy, it can also be turned off by the user, or a location can be manually entered. Users has to explicitly opt in to Latitude, and may only see the location of friends who have decided to share their location.

Well Despite many films in Hollywood Now comes Alice in Wonderland By Tim Burton well basically we Can not say that other film in Hollywood are less Special Effective or Didn't got a a nice Story but as always after every year theres come a blogbuster !

Well talking about and understaning the theme of this Film Alice in Wonderland would cause you a great difficulty that is it a remake or a Visual make of story books well certainly We call it Moderenization of the Filming industry , However the theme is a great fun to hit the blog buster and the story is superb and of-course We all have now watched the Teaser Trailers and they are quite heavily dose with sepcial Effects, Direction Tips and locations That are fully computerized and beautiful that catch's the eyes of everyone.








When going towards cast no body can for get about Jhony Depp the smartest person and ofcourse the Anne Hathaway as White Queen in this film she is super hot Girl quitly well managed film is known when someone got the right story on the right theme and with the right cast and crew, thats the reason it is hitting the box office with the topest levels ever.

sapnaa babul ka…. bidaai, started off on the 10th of October, 2007 with many hopes at 9pm on plus. During these 1 1/2 years it has emerged as the top show of television. Earlier it was tuned to 1 hour which made the story very interesting due to the uprising of many twists in the show. However from the past 3 to 4 weeks, the story is getting a bit too boring due to over-acting of alekh, and mental disabled man as sometimes he is the smartest man in the world(eg. in judging who is a perfect groom dost for sadhna) and sometimes behaves like a 7 yr old child(in neglecting feelings that sadhna has for him and how bad she will feel if she comes to know this).

International Men's Day (IMD) is an annual international event celebrated on November 19. Inaugurated in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago, the day and its events find support from a variety of individuals and groups in Australia, the Caribbean, North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the United Nations. Speaking on behalf of UNESCO, Director of Women and Culture of Peace Ingeborg Breines said of IMD, "This is an excellent idea and would give some gender balance." She added that UNESCO was looking forward to cooperating with IMD organizers.










The objectives of celebrating an International Men's Day include focusing on men's and boy's health, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality, and highlighting positive male role models. It is an occasion for men to highlight discrimination against them and to celebrate their achievements and contributions, in particular for their contributions to community, family, marriage, and child care.

nmdc fpo price band at Rs 300-350 per share

The government has fixed the price band for the NMDC follow-on public offer at Rs 300-350 per share, at a discount of 12.9-25.3% to the current market price, reports CNBC-TV18's Sajeet Manghat. Retail investors will get a further 5% discount in the issue.

NMDC has a good exposure to the iron ore mining sector with large reserves of high-grade ore, assured demand from the expanding Indian steel industry, production costs that are far below the global average and large cash in its coffers to pump into diversification and expansion projects.

"(The) government heard it (concerns over low free-float and overvaluation) loud and clear," said A. Rajagopal, managing director (investment banking) at UBS Securities Pvt. Ltd. "This is not a difficult business to value. There are established benchmarks."

According to Bloomberg data, NMDC's earnings per share is Rs8.62. At current market price, its P-E multiple stands at over 50 times, which analysts say is "exorbitant". From Rs140.30 on 9 March last year, NMDC shares rose to Rs571.80 on 19 January this year.

Deemed university is a status of autonomy granted to high performing institutes and departments of various universities in India. This status of 'Deemed-to-be-University', is granted by Deptt. Of Higher Education, Union Human Resource Development Ministry, on the advice of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India, under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956 .
The UGC began in 1956 after Indian parliament passed the University Grants Commission Act "to make provision for the co-ordination and determination of standards in Universities and for that purpose, to establish a University Grants Commission." .

The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Centre to put on the Internet the recommendations of the Tandon Committee and the task force on the basis of which the government had decided to derecognise 44 deemed universities in the country.

India has for long offered FTAs to all South Asian neighbours while simultaneously trying to work out a regional arrangement called South Asian Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA) under the aegis of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).

A Bench of Justices Dalveer Bhandari and A K Patnaik also directed that its earlier status quo order would continue till April 13.

The apex court granted two weeks to the aggrieved universities to file their responses on the Centre's decision to derecognise them.

New Delhi, March 8 (ANI): In the latest development regarding the Women Reservation Bill, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday afternoon held meeting with Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Today is a historic day – almost rekindling in old timers the excitement of the day on which the newly passed Constitution of India was signed by the Founding Fathers. Coinciding with the centenary of the International Women's Day, the Constitution (108th Amendment) Bill, 2008, providing for 33 per cent reservation in Parliament and State Assemblies is coming for vote in the Rajya Sabha. This is no great favour done to them because they already form the better half of the nation's population and comprise as much as 35 per cent of the total workforce of 400 million.

A similar protest was witnessed in the past 14 years with opponents of the Bill by noisily opposing the Women's Reservation Bill that seeks to reserve a third of seats for women in arliament and State Assemblies. (ANI)

The deadlock put the government of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the defensive as the two regional parties - the Samajwadi Party and the Rashtriya Janata Dal with their support base in the Hindi heartland - threatened to withdraw support from the government accusing it of trampling on the interests of "women belonging to minorities, Dalits and backward class".

Tim Burton's 3-D re-imagining of Lewis Carroll's two novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (which includes the nonsense poem Jabberwocky) has been much-hyped.

And on the morning of its royal world premiere, the director, Tim Burton, his wife Helena Bonham-Carter, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and the star of the film, newcomer Mia Wasikowska, are in an ebullient mood.

Walt Disney Pictures' latest offering Tim Burton's "visual treat" Alice in Wonderland, swept off the box office last Friday raking in an astounding sum of $40 million on its opening day, the 3day weekend overhaul calculated to come close to the range of $110-$120 million.








March 7 "Alice in Wonderland," the classic Lewis Carroll tale re-imagined in 3-D by director Tim Burton, made $116.3 million in U.S. and Canadian ticket sales for Walt Disney Co. this weekend, the sixth-biggest opening ever.

The movie also set records for the best March debut and the largest opening weekend of the year, according to Hollywood.com Box-Office. "Alice" is the first film ever to cross the $100 million mark in the January-to-March period.

The Hurt Locker, the low-budget, low-grossing war film about bomb-disposal experts in Iraq, with only $20 million in worldwide box office, won six Oscars Sunday night, including best picture. Filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow became the first woman in the academy's 82-year history to be named best director.

"It's the moment of a lifetime," she said, dedicating the award to the soldiers who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. "May they come home safe."

The Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner hated filming the Oscar-winning movie in Jordan - he smashed his nose in a bizarre accident and fell ill as a result of the searing heat.









The Hurt Locker is a 2008 American war film. The film follows a United States Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team during the Iraq War. The story was written by Mark Boal, a freelance writer who was embedded as a journalist with a bomb squad. It stars Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, and Brian Geraghty as members of a U.S. Army EOD unit in Iraq and follows their tour together as they contend with defusing bombs, the threat of insurgency, and the tension that develops among them.[3][4] The title is slang for being injured in an explosion, as in 'they sent him to the hurt locker'. or for "a place of ultimate pain."

3D fantasy marks rebound for struggling Disney studio (Recasts, adds more on "Alice," details of other films)

LOS ANGELES, March 7 "Alice in Wonderland" held the golden key to box office receipts, smashing multiple records during its first weekend of worldwide, and easily surpassed the opening stand of all-time champ "Avatar" in North America, distributor Walt Disney Co (DIS.N) said on Sunday.

Director Tim Burton's 3D update of the Lewis Carroll tale sold $210.3 million worth of tickets worldwide. Moviegoers in the United States and Canada contributed $116.3 million, the sixth-biggest opening weekend ever, according to research firm Box Office Mojo.








The stellar cast is typical of a Burton production, as he tends to use the same actors and actresses over again, and this feature is no different. Helena Bonham Carter plays the nefarious Red Queenp; Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter; Christopher Lee as the Jabberwocky; Anne Hathaway as the beloved White Queen; and Matt Lucas as the comedic Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee. However the lead role goes to a yet unheard of actress, Mia Wasikowska, who steps up to the mark beautifully as Alice.

The story is basically that a 19-year old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) falls down the rabbit hole, returning to Wonderland. Whether or not she is actually the Alice required is a matter of some debate, as apparently the Wonderland characters have been searching for a champion for some time to defeat the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) and restore the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) to the throne. Alice gets drawn in to the quest, with the help of the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry) and the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman), to name a few.

Oscars Jeff Bridges hits right note Ryan Bingham, T Bone Burnett Win

Bridges, who memorably played a pianist reaching for the big time in 1989 in The Fabulous Baker Boys, initially passed on the script for Crazy Heart after discovering that there was no music attached to it.
But the involvement of musician T-Bone Burnett re-ignited his interest in the project and he quickly signed on for the role. Several of Burnett's songs performed by Bridges were written with the actor in mind.

Bridges was named best actor in a leading role for his portrayal of Bad Blake, a faded country music star. Bingham and Burnett shared the award for original song of the year for "The Weary Kind," the film's theme. Bridges, Bingham and Burnett all won in similar categories during the recent Golden Globe Award. It was the first Oscar for all three, although it was Bridges' fifth nomination since his first in 1971 for The Last Picture Show.










All of the winners in the acting categories were expected. With his typical brand of heartfelt eloquence, Christoph Waltz accepted the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for "Inglourious Basterds," beating out Matt Damon for "Invictus," Woody Harrelson for "The Messenger," Christopher Plummer for "The Last Station" and Stanley Tucci for "The Lovely Bones."

Freaknik was an annual spring break meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, primarily of students from historically black colleges and universities. Begun in 1982 as a small picnic near the Atlanta University Center, it was initially sponsored by the DC Metro Club and was typically held during the third weekend in April to coincide with the schools of the Atlanta University Center's Reading Day. The event increased in size and popularity in the 1990s with dancing, drinking, parties, a basketball tournament, rap sessions, a film festival and a job fair.










"Back in the '90s, Freaknik was Atlanta's version of the ultimate block party," T-Pain said in a statement. "It was Mardi Gras meets spring break at your crazy cousin's bachelor party and anything could happen. A decade later, I'm bringing it back for people like me, who didn't get to experience it the first time around. We've recreated Freaknik's vibe and energy with amazing animation, new music and an all-star cast of characters."

The idea behind the cartoon was pretty simple: in Atlanta in the '80's and '90's thousands of college age kids, predominantly black, congregated in a saturnalian party. Music was involved. And T-Pain wanted to remember this with this musical in order to relive what it most of been like back in the day. I don't know what type of world T-Pain lives in, but I don't see how a cartoon is helping him imagine the past. OSCARS in Pictures: the Oscars come too late for Alice in Wonderland, the latest show from Tim Burton's central casting. One day Burton's films will come with the epithet "Carry On" – you knoow what you're going to get and is no less enjoyable for it.

Reviews may have been mixed to negative, but audiences didn't care and got their fix of Burton, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter appearing as some of Lewis Carroll's most famous characters (in 3-D of course). Even happier for Walt Disney Studios, "Alice" found another $90 million outside the U.S. for a 3-D global cume of $210 million. Historically, "Alice" is the eighth biggest opening of all time (bumping the first "Spider-Man" to No. 9) and the top opener ever outside the summer or winter holiday period (which includes November). Needless to say, after some disappointing results the past few months, Disney will be having a tea party on Monday to celebrate.








The creative relationship between Burton and Johnny Depp has been fascinating, but for me, their latest collaboration on Alice in Wonderland shows them at their bizarre, creative best. This film reminds one of the melancholy fantasy of Edward Scissorhands (1990) but it is filled with some of the most intriguing and elegant computer-generated images yet seen.

The film won't be to everyone's taste but the sheer oddness and beauty of the world Burton creates commands attention.

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios has released a brand new trailer for the anticipated sequel "Iron Man 2" starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, and Scarlett Johansson.

The film is due out May 7, 2010.












Iron Man 2 is an upcoming 2010 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name from Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures. It is the sequel to 2008's Iron Man, and the second film in a planned trilogy. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film stars Robert Downey Jr. reprising his role as Tony Stark, an industrialist and master engineer, also known as the superhero, Iron Man. The film is scheduled to be released in the UK on April 30th and in North America on May 7, 2010. The soundtrack will feature music by AC/DC.
