Google is buying DocVerse to beef up its online suite of software that competes with Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
DocVerse makes software that allows Office users to share documents online and allows multiple people edit a document without having to e-mail attachments back and forth.
Earlier this week, Google bought Seattle company Picnik, a company that makes an online photo editing software. Rochelle said he could not answer whether Google plans to grow through acquisition. "I don't think there is a strategy except to say we're looking for great talent and great technology," he said.
DocVerse, a company founded by two former Microsoft employees, lets Microsoft Office users share and edit their documents online. The software is an Office plug-in that tracks and synchs changes that people make to a document so that multiple people can work on a file without having to send the file back and forth and try to keep track of changes.
Google has gobbled up another small productivity company with today's purchase of DocVerse, a plug-in that makes Microsoft Office software collaborative. The only surprise about this latest acquisition, perhaps, is that its founders didn't previously work at Google. Word of the deal was first reported in December by TechCrunch, and today the Wall Street Journal pegs the price at $25 million.

Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped on June 10, 1991, when she was 11 years old. Dugard was abducted from a school bus stop within sight of her home in South Lake Tahoe, California, United States. She was missing for over 18 years. On August 26, 2009, Dugard, her daughters, and Phillip Craig Garrido appeared in the office of her alleged kidnapper's parole officer in California.
While her family said they released the recent home video of Ms. Dugard, who was 11 when she was kidnapped from her South Lake Tahoe, Calif., neighborhood, to express gratitude to many well-wishers, it was also a plea for privacy in a case that has generated intense media attention.
The footage on ABC represents the first time that 29-year-old Jaycee Dugard will be seen and heard on video since she resurfaced six months ago after being kidnapped outside her South Lake Tahoe, Calif. home in 1991.

Dance India Dance Season2 30th January, Yes we have been waiting to confirm the spoiler and Dharmesh from Geeta Ki Gang is OUT, so is meenu panchal from Remo Ke Rangeeley. Dharmesh performed on a classical number today which I think was a brave attempt but judges did not like him in that style and he paid the price. Geeta Kapoor looked upset and she said that she will make sure he returns to DanceIndia Dance Season2 through a wild card entry. sapnaa babul ka…. bidaai, started off on the 10th of October, 2007 with many hopes at 9pm on plus. During these 1 1/2 years it has emerged as the top show of television. Earlier it was tuned to 1 hour which made the story very interesting due to the uprising of many twists in the show. However from the past 3 to 4 weeks, the story is getting a bit too boring due to over-acting of alekh, and mental disabled man as sometimes he is the smartest man in the world(eg. in judging who is a perfect groom dost for sadhna) and sometimes behaves like a 7 yr old child(in neglecting feelings that sadhna has for him and how bad she will feel if she comes to know this).

Michelle Dalamor graduated in 2006 from Miami Beach Senior High School where she was a member of the D.D.C, Diversified Dance Crew, and is now a college student at Miami Dade College, Wolfson campus working on a major in music.In addition to singing, she also aspires to design her own "funky-glamorous" clothing line. She has appeared as a backup singer on JoJo's song "If I Wrote a Note to God," and has performed in a variety of shows in south Florida.

The man alleged for a gunshot at Pentagon on Thursday evening died on Friday morning succumbing to his injuries. The 36year old man, named John Patrick Bedell, was badly injured when shot by two police officers as an attempt to stop John from gunfire.
Without speaking, walked up to the screening area and reached into his pocket and pulled out a gun and opened fire. No words were spoken by the shooter as he began shooting.
Bedell's death was confirmed early Friday by Beverly Fields, chief of staff of the D.C. medical examiner's office; and Leigh Fields, medical legal investigator for the office. Both saidBedell's body had arrived at the medical examiner's office.
According to reports the shooter, without speaking, walked up to the screening area and reached into his pocket and pulled out a gun and opened fire. No words were spoken by the shooter as he began shooting. The officers returned fire and injured John Patrick Bedell. No motive for the shooting has been determined, but authorities are investigating the shooting and trying to determine a motive. Witnesses report that John Patrick Bedell was extremely calm as he opened fire.
Next, we have internet postings from Bedell which suggest that he was both a 911 Truther and harbored resentment against the US military due to more conspiracy theory beliefs, this time relating to the 1991 death of Marine Col. James Sabow. Writing under the name JPatrick Bedell, the shooter wrote that he was "determined to see that justice is served" in Sabow's death.
