Officially in the IPL tournament Kolkata Knight Riders will not going to make it for the play offs without any magical wonder for them. Pune Warriors India is no better than the Kolkata team and with 2 wins out of their 14 matches there is nothing much left for the team this IPL season. This match will decide the future of both these team in the IPL and it will be interesting to see how these two teams fight it out for the survival.

Match Venue and Date

Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing Pune Warriors in the 65th IPL 6 match. The game will be played on May 15, 2013 starting at 4:00 pm at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders has shown concerns from the very starting of their play in the IPL with their inconsistent innings. Only 8 wins out of 28 matches is being a big led down for their fans.  Captain Gambhir and KKR management has not being able to work out any stable playing order for the team. Even after their unimpressive plays Yusuf Pathan and Jacques Kallis were opted again and again in the team. Also the players who were not able to take the responsibility in the recent times are Eoin Morgan and Manoj Tiwary. Though skipper Gambhir has performed alone but there is need for a team play on their part. Ryan ten Doeschate and Ryan McLaren can be seen in the team in this match.

In bowling, Sunil Narine the only bowler to bowl his full 4 overs quota in all the IPL matches is working for the team. Jacques Kallis with a score of 15 wickets out of 14 games is also impressive. Decent starters, Sri Lankan off-spinner Senanayake and Rajat Bhatia are not able to maintain their consistency for all the 4 overs.

Pune Warriors India

Pune Warriors have only 2 wins out of their 14 games, and has almost ended their IPL venture. With some smashing defeats the team's playing order has not being able to stabilize it. No team play even in a single IPL match on part of Skipper Aaron Finch, Robin Uthappa, Angelo Mathews and Yuvraj Singh is being a concern. The remaining batting order has also not shown any inspiring innings either in the IPL matches.

Team has its woes in the bowling as well, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has taken his responsibility as a lead bowler well maintaining an economy rate of 6.60. Ashok Dinda has being pretty expensive on the other side touching over 9.70 runs/over in some matches. Rahul Sharma, Mitchell Marsh and Wayne Parnell are no success either in bowling.

Probable Team Squad

Pune Warriors: Aaron Finch (c), Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Yuvraj Singh, Angelo Mathews, Abhishek Nayar, Ajantha Mendis, Ashok Dinda, Kane Richardson, Parveez Rasool, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

Kolkata Knight Riders: Gautam Gambhir (c), Manvinder Bisla (wk), Ryan McLaren, Yusuf Pathan, Manoj Tiwary, Sachithra Senanayake, Sunil Narine, Ryan ten Doeschate, Rajat Bhatia, Debabrata Das, Lakshmipathy Balaji
