4 girls raped by the Headmaster: Orissa

In Orissa’s Nabarangpur district, four girls have been raped by the headmaster and teacher of a boarding school.
A female teacher at the school complained to a local government official, when two of them showed the symptoms of the early pregnancy.
Parents of the several students protested at the school on Wednesday.
Two teachers and a male cook was arrested in this rape case. The girls was studying in the Boda-Amada Sevashrama School, Koshmguda block, 550 kms from the Bhubaneshwar.
Pratap Jena, Orissa’s Mass Education minister had asked the collector of the district to conduct an inquiry and submit report to him immediately.

Encounter with militants, Captain killed: Kashmir

In Dadsar village in south Kashmir’s Tral area, in an encounter, an army captain has been killed.
On Wednesday morning, the encounter was began, in this encounter the Deepak Sharma, Captain of Rashtriya Rifles was killed and three other soldires have been injured.
In this encounter two Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed and it is believed that the another was hidden and the army is searching the whole area.

Girl shot dead by the Naxals

Naxals shot nineteen years old Anju Kumari because she filed a police case against the Pappu Lohra, the Naxal’s leader.
Latehar in Jharkand is a district ravaged by Naxal violence from many years.
Dr. Hareshan Mahto, Deputy Superintendent, District Hospital, Latehar said that the girl was in a serious condition and they have referred her to a better hospital in Ranchi.

First Indian woman Court Martialled

In the Army in 1993, Dimple Singla was among the first batch of women to be inducted in the Army. And also she is the first court martialled woman from the Army and now she is sent to jail. Retired Major Singla was once a presiding court-martial judge herself. In 2004, she has been found guilty of selling her verdict for rupees ten thousand in a case involving a soldier. Dimple Singla can contest the judgement by moving the armed forces tribunal.
 Colonel (Retd) S K Aggarwal, lawyer of Dimple Singla said, “this is a very rare case where there is no evidence of obtaining money, asking for money, or any payment or recovery of money. The Supreme Court has very strict guidelines in such cases. But in this case, instead of giving her the benefit of doubt, she has been convicted.”
When she has been found guilty she will lose all Army benefits which an ex-servicemen got.

BSF officer arrested for killing an innocent

After a month of the dead of sixteen years old Zahid Farooq who was shot dead, in this case RK Birdi, (BSF) Border Security Force Commanding Officer was arrested in Kashmir for killing an innocent.
Farooq Ahmad, father of the victim said, “we had no hope that he will be arrested. The media helped us. Omar Abdullah helped us. He raised the issue with New Delhi. That is why Birdi was arrested. I have never action taken. Never. Children have been dragged from their bedrooms and killed in front of their parents, yet there has been no justice. This is the first time.”
On 5th February, Zahir Farooq and his friends were jeering at the BSF jeep and then RK Birdi come out of the jeep snatching the rifle of one of his constables Lakhvinder Kumar, corked the gun and ordered him to shoot the boy.
“For us, zero tolerance regime is not a matter of words. It’s a matter of practice. Where avoidable use of force takes place, then law should take its own course,” said Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.

MBBS student commits suicide in AIIMS campus: New Delhi

On Wednesday evening, a final year MBBS student Bal Mukund Bharti from Sagar in Madhya Pradesh, committed suicide in his hostel. He was depressed due to his worst performance in the examination. 
He is doing MBBS from (AIIMS), All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He was found hanging in the room number 22 of hostel-II in the AIIMS campus by one of his friends at around 6p.m.
Mukund Bharti locked the room from inside and by broken the door his friend found him hanging and then his friend rushed to a security guard, later who informed the police.
Bharti was depressed because he was failed in a paper on community medicine and had appeared in a compartment examination recently.
The official said that he had apparently attempted to commit suicide earlier too on 18th February by consuming excessive medicines.
The official said that his friends have told them that he was under depression after failing in the examinations. Police is looking into the matter and his family is also informed.

Professor commits suicide due to depression: New Delhi

Mahesh Chander Jain, sixty three old professor of the St. Stephens College, was found dead on the courtyard of his residence in Greater Kailash, Delhi. He was a professor in Chemistry Department. He jumped from the second floor of his residence due to depression. He jumped from the window of a second floor room, a senior police official said.
The official said that the professor was under depression for the past ten years and was under medication.
Suicide note has been recovered form his house in which he has written that no one else is responsible for his death and he is committing suicide due to depression.
Mahesh Jain was last seen by his wife and his daughter. And in the morning she found lying in a pool of blood in the courtyard and she then informed the police. He then taken to the AIIMS hospital where he was declared as dead. He left behind his wife, three sons and a daughter who is married.

Earthquake in Taiwan

In the Southern Taiwan, a powerful earthquake took place, 6.4 magnitude, and all the peoples were seen running out of there houses. When the report has been filed nearabout fifteen peoples were injured and had sent to the nearby hospitals. And all the hospitals are on the high alert.
The earthquake was centered in the mountainous region of Kaohsiung country. Rail service of the Taiwan is on halt. Communications with the other cities is not going because all the telephone towers were damaged due to the earthquake.

Samsung launched new refrigerator model with Wi-Fi system

Samsung Electronics Co. has launched a new refrigerator model. This refrigerator is equiped with the Wi-Fi system. Zipel Massimo Zucchi, an Italian Jeweler has designed this refrigerator. This latest model is equiped with a ten inch touch screen and can easily be accessed for online recipes or ordering. This model is eco-friendly as it consists of a “Smart Eco-System”, which brings in the savings of more than twenty percent.
Presently the fridge will be available only in the South Korean market and later this month would be available in various parts of the world.
