NFL Draft Results 2010 and Special Report

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 09:57 AM PDT

The NFL Draft is an annual event in which the 32 National Football League teams select new eligible college football players. It is the NFL's most common source of player recruitment.

2010 NFL Draft Results for the 1st Round will be updated live on Thursday April 22nd. Hit F5 to refresh page.

2010 NFL Draft Results for the 2nd and 3rd Rounds will be updated live on Friday April 23rd.

2010 NFL Draft Results for the 4th thru 7th Rounds will be updated on Saturday April 24th.

National Football Post: A no-brainer here as the Rams get their franchise QB. Bradford possesses an intriguing blend of accuracy and intangibles, and he is clearly the No. 1 signal caller in the draft.

National Football Post: The Lions have holes on both sides of the football, but Suh could be a real difference maker at the next level. A potential blue-chip defensive lineman who can dominate vs. the run game and knows how to reach the passer. The new cornerstone of the Lions defense.

National Football Post: McCoy might have a little more upside than Suh due to his ability to rush the passer. He's an explosive, quick-twitch athlete who fires off the football and knows how to get up field. Another guy whom you can really build a defense around.

Dylan MacNamara here, Deputy NFL Editor of Bleacher Report and NFL Draft fanatic. I'll be here for the next three days breaking down each pick, offering analysis and candid reactions. Get involved in the discussion in the comments section below...On to Radio City Music Hall!

On the Clock: St. Louis Rams (Round 2)

On Deck: Detroit Lions (Round 2)

Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska - 6'4 - 300
Drafted 1.2 by DET
Arguably the best player in college football last season, Suh has been and will continue to be a dominant force on defensive lines.
Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma - 6'4 - 295
Drafted 1.3 by TB
Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma - 6'4 - 218
Drafted 1.1 by STL
Shoulder problems derailed his senior season, but NFL teams still love Bradford and he still has a chance of going No. 1 overall.
Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State - 6'5 - 300
Drafted 1.6 by SEA
Okung is the best at his position in this draft and he will go off the board early with a chance of being a franchise left tackle.

King Tut Exhibit back in the Big Apple

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 09:52 AM PDT

New York Exhibit in US : According to the source, They discarded the brain after extracting it through the nostrils with a metal hook

The boy king is back in the Big Apple. The King Tut exhibit is back in New York City after an absence of 31 years, the final stop on a tour that has been to eight cities in six years.

"Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" opens today at the Discovery Times Square Exposition and runs through January 2, 2011. The King Tut exhibit features 130 items, 50 from the tomb of the King himself and the others from other royal tombs. The Discovery folks say that some of the pieces have never been outside Egypt before, and that many of the items were not on the tour in 1979, when "Tutmania" swept over New York when the last King Tut exhibition appeared at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

But King Tut is unique. His tomb was found intact (one of only three out of hundreds), and there was that curse everyone's heard about. Didn't everyone who was there when it was opened in 1922 drop dead? Yes! But that's because it was opened 90 years ago and most people don't live that long. The tale of Howard Carter's discovery of Tut's tomb is iconic. Everyone's heard about it, and is just the thing to fire up the thoughts of six-year-olds everywhere. There's glamour to grave robbing of this kind, and none is more glamorous than this.

The Discovery Channel set up this museum a few years back to show artifacts related to it's various shows, and has done well enough to keep itself in business. Some groups of artifacts are glamorous, such as those dredged up from the Titanic, and that's what keeps the institution running. But it really doesn't have the gravitas and prestige of the Metropolitan Museum in New York or the Smithsonian Institution in Washington. Of course they don't charge you to get in (that hefty price on the sign at the front of the Met is a SUGGESTED donation, you can pay a penny and they have to let you in), and the reason for the travelling exhibition is to bring to somebody's attention funds for a groundbreaking new museum outside of Cairo, which costs a ton of money.

The King Tut Exhibit opens in The Discovery Center in Times Square today. Normally I wouldn't mention it, but it gives me the excuse to run this old clip of Steve Martin on Saturday Night Live back in the day singing what has to be the only 20th century popular song about King Tut.

g that I am obsessed with all things ancient Egypt, you can be sure that I will be checking out the "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" exhibit coming to Times Square. The exhibition will hold artifacts in ten galleries that cover items found in and around the famous tomb, as well as items that represent the time period of King Tut's contemporaries. The exhibit will also cover the discovery of the tomb itself.

It has been over 30 years since the exhibit has made it's way to New York City, so be sure to check it out and revel in the fact that you are still as un-cool as you were in fifth grade.

03/24/10 Last minute purchase for the Powerball drawing was rewarded. Donna Feldman began working with a lot of designers

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 09:41 AM PDT

Donna Feldman
Donna Feldman (born April 28, 1982) is an American model and actress, represented by Elite Mod

Donna plays Gloria Thompson on Fashion House, a well-touted, 2006 fall drama that also stars Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild. Prior to landing a role on the program she appeared as one of the luscious models on NBC's hit game show Deal or No Deal.

"I began working with a lot of designers and companies… and realized how everyone was very interested in me to model their clothing," she recalls. "To make a long story short, I started working with an agency that started to send me out for ad campaigns."

Following in the footsteps of Anna Kournikova and Jennifer Love Hewitt, Feldman starred in an Enrique Iglesias music video, where she was the only redeeming quality. She's also been in music videos for Justin Timberlake and Sugar Ray. Once the writer's strike commences, Feldman will begin appearing on NBC's Las Vegas. In 2008, Feldman will make her big screen debut in the new Adam Sandler comedy, You Don't Mess With the Zohan. Recently, Feldman has appeared on the cover of Esquire magazine. Hopefully in the future we will see more of this exquisite beauty.

Donna Feldman was born and raised in Calabasas, California but is of Israeli descent. It doesn't take a professional seer to see that the five-foot-ten Feldman is hot, so naturally after high school she entered the world of professional modelling, signing with Elite Model Agency. She's done ads for a bevy of products, including Mercedes-Benz, Panasonic, and Diesel Jeans. She's also done TV commercials in the US and the UK. In 2005, Feldman was the Awards Hostess for the Academy Awards. That's how they make ugly actors look better, by putting Feldman on their arm as they walk on stage. In 2005, Feldman also became one of the models on the hit game show Deal or No Deal, she left after one season of the show to pursue real acting. In 2006, Feldman was cast on the soap opera Fashion House, where she plays a temptress named Gloria.

Jared Odrick The Draft Skill is Enough

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 05:59 AM PDT

Jared Odrick
Even though two defensive linemen could be taken in the first three picks, there is a good chance that an appealing one will fall to the Ravens near the bottom of the first round next week. Penn State's Jared Odrick, the consensus No. 3 defensive tackle in the draft, fits the personality of the Ravens' defense. In commenting on Odrick's high-energy play and toughness, one team official recently said, "He plays like a Raven." Odrick was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year by the league's coaches after he recorded 43 tackles last season for the Nittany Lions. He also had seven sacks and 11 tackles for losses. The biggest reason why Odrick could last into the second half of the first round is he's not considered flashy. He stops the run and rushes the passer equally well, but isn't dominant in either area. "The fact that he's got a great motor and had great production in college is his highest testament," said Mike Mayock, the NFL Network's draft analyst. "It will be tough for some of those teams at the end of the first round to pass on him." The Ravens, who hold the 25th overall pick, are likely among those teams who won't pass on Odrick. - Jamison Hensley, The Baltimore Sun

Jared T. Odrick (born December 31, 1987 in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania) is an American football defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins. He was selected 28th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He played college football at Penn State.

The Dolphins needed to add more beef to their front line, and the selection of Jared Odrick gives them size at the defensive end position. As the "five-technique" in the Dolphins' 3-4, Odrick has the length to occupy blockers on the edge, and his relentless style often leads to disruptive plays at the line of scrimmage. With Mike Nolan slated to tweak the team's defense, Odrick could be a key cog as an interior defender.

Blessed with exceptional size, strength and toughness, Odrick seized his opportunity and emerged as a dominating force in the interior of the Penn State defensive line in his senior season. Bouncing back from a series of injuries that cut short his sophomore campaign, the former defensive end provided leadership and significant contributions from the interior of the defensive line last fall, earning Big Ten Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year recognition.

Odrick has a good combination of size and strength. He is more of a run-stopper with power to hold the point but needs to utilize his hands more consistently to separate to the ball. Odrick shows power to collapse the pocket as a pass rusher but again needs to expand his pass rush package with more moves and counters to contribute at the next level. He feels pad pressure well and constricts running lanes effectively. He has some limitations (lateral agility and speed) but plays with a good motor and often wins with effort. Odrick could be considered a versatile prospect as an end in a 3-4 front or tackle in 4-3 schemes. Odrick has upside if he can improve his overall technique at the next level.

Odrick's skills and tenacity often forced the opposition to put two blockers on him, freeing up a teammate to make a play. A physical, talented, no-nonsense player, his ability to provide an inside push was disruptive to the opposing team's rushing and passing attacks.

Pass rush: Has good height, strength, agility and length to be a consistent penetrator. Bowled over many college linemen with his bull rush and seems to be in motion with the snap of the ball. Has some shiftiness and is able to penetrate with a swim or an inside-out move when blocked one-on-one. Uses his hands to discard linemen. Disrupts passing lanes with his long arms and big hands, keeping his eyes in the backfield. Can accelerate to the quarterback after initial contact but does not have elite quickness or change-of-direction ability to come back and make the sack or chase down plays in the backfield.

``I can play both [tackle and end],'' Odrick said from New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

``I think that's one of the reasons the Dolphins took me is I can and will play any position on the defensive line.''

Not flashy, but versatile and very strong, Odrick started in his last three years at Penn State.
His sophomore season ended with five games left when he dislocated his ankle. Penn State coach Joe Paterno was quoted in the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette as considering Odrick the equal of Penn State's best defensive linemen ever.

This Dolphins regime loves smart players, which Penn State is known for producing, and Odrick graduated with a sociology degree in December.

``High motor, high-character guy, fits our mold of a guy,'' Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland said.

Patrick Robinson Overall game Hitter Shutdown

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 05:43 AM PDT

Patrick Robinson

Robinson is the Seminoles most active pass defender and should make the transition to the next level well. His combination of size, strength and athleticism is best suited as a rolled up corner in two deep schemes. He is a solid perimeter run defender but not always physical versus larger ball carriers. Pat needs to use his hands better to jam and reroute receivers off the line of scrimmage as well as his over all body positioning in coverage. He can be aggressive in zone schemes and is susceptible to gadget plays as well as double moves. Robinson is a good football player that should contribute on special teams as a rookie while developing his overall game.

The Saints prove that a defense can never have enough corners with the selection of Patrick Robinson. Although New Orleans took Malcolm Jenkins with its first-round pick a season ago, the addition of Robinson gives the team the flexibility to move Jenkins to free safety or create a series of exotic nickel packages to get its athletic corners on the field. Regardless, the Saints have clearly improved their depth and talent in the back end, and that ensures they will remain among the best at creating takeaways in 2010.

Of the 14 former Florida State football players who worked out on the turf field for the school's annual Pro Day, there was a cornerback who hopes to be taken in the first round. There was a receiver who was kicked off the team before his senior year. There was a graduate student trying to make it as a long snapper. The 30 or so NFL scouts ??? including San Francisco 49ers coach Mike Singletary ??? in attendance got to see them all during the 21??2-hour workout. They got to see Patrick Robinson, a possible first-round selection in the April 22-24 draft, run 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash. "I thought I should have run a little faster, but I'm satisfied with it," said the three-year starter at cornerback. "... I think the last first-rounder we had was Lawrence Timmons in 2007. I'm trying to end that drought." - Corey Clark, The News-Press

Robinson has a confidence about him that makes him believe he can make every play. Sometimes that is a good thing, sometimes it leads to inconsistent play. Either way, he had some good workouts leading up to the draft and is hoping to sneak into the first round. That probably will not happen with fellow corners Joe Haden, Kyle Wilson and Devin McCourty separating themselves from the pack, but Robinson should be off the board by the end of the second round.

Robinson quickly got over his ankle injury and returned as the Seminoles' shutdown corner. While the opposition still avoided him and he did not record an interception the entire season, Robinson did lead the team with 11 pass breakups and ranked fifth on the Seminoles with 52 tackles. He is expected to perform well at the NFL Combine and that could shoot him into the first round where corners will be hard to come by.

Tim Tebow Broncos interview at the combine

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 05:39 AM PDT

"I've always felt like if you've got the time and the patience to work with somebody and you think he has the kind of attributes to help your football team, you can work with that guy and really have something." Gary Kubiak-Texans

"You look at the tape, and the only thing that you can say about the tape that isn't flattering or very impressive is that he dips the ball a hair. He has already fixed that. I think that's something that you can fix through repetition. He's already done it. He proved that at his pro day, Everything else that you're watching on film is accurate: tough, smart, good leader, versatile, can move out of the pocket, can move in the pocket, can run with the ball. This guy scored ... What is he, the third-leading passer all-time and the leading scorer in rushing touchdowns over Herschel Walker? There are so many things that you can say about the kid. Then, to top that all off, he's every bit the person that you read about before you got the chance to meet him. He's very enthusiastic, wants to work hard, smart, bright, one of the smarter players I've ever been around in terms of coming out of college." Josh Mcdaniel's-Broncos

He has shown great toughness, playing through a devastating ankle injury and leading the Broncos to a gutsy Thanksgiving night victory over the New York Giants.

Personally, I still feel there is a persistent need for a true playmaker at quarterback. To me, it feels like Chester Taylor is playing when Adrian Peterson is somewhere out there.

"Ball position, footwork, things like that — if a guy has it at his waist and you want to correct something like that, you can, That can be done with some work — footwork things, body position, how he looks over the field." Mike Shanahan-Redskins

The Broncos spent Thursday night moving all over the draft board in the first round, and after snagging Demaryius Thomas with their first pick of the draft, they traded back into the first round to draft Tebow. The Ravens received picks in the second, third and fourth rounds from Denver in the trade (No. 43, No. 70 and No. 114)

"That will be exciting to be honest," Tebow said of his pro career starting in the area he became a high school legend. "I'm just going to compete, go in there and get some playing time and just get better. Be part of a franchise and a great organization. That's what I'm excited about."

Tebow said he wasn't surprised Jacksonville passed on him.

Tebow won the Heisman Trophy in 2007, but was widely criticized after a poor performance at the Senior Bowl. He began retooling his throwing motion.

"I had only met with them one time and it was an interview at the combine," Tebow said. "I hadn't done a workout for them or had a visit. We hadn't actually really talked to anybody from the Jaguars from the combine so I didn't really think that they were that interested."

It's a shocking move, as Tebow became the second QB chosen in the draft. Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen, widely projected as a first-round pick and second-best QB in the class, remained on the board as Tebow was picked.

"You could have made a lot of money if you had bet that he'd go ahead of Jimmy Clausen yesterday," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said.

Oakland: This is an interesting situation. Oakland will likely be looking for a quarterback in the early rounds, and we all know how unpredictable Al Davis is when it comes to the draft. It wouldn't be a shock at all if Davis went against the grain and took Tebow in the second round. Davis doesn't care if a player is raw or if he is considered an unfinished product. If Davis thinks a player is a winner, he will strike quickly. Yes, the squeaky clean Tebow doesn't exactly seem like the perfect Raider, but it could happen. What a great story that would be -– Tebow in the Silver and Black.

Devin Mccourty wheeling and dealing

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 05:36 AM PDT

After wheeling and dealing down the draft board, the Patriots pick up the versatile Devin McCourty. The former Rutgers standout gives the team a dynamic cover man and special teams player. Although he won't be counted on to step right in as a starter, McCourty should excel as a sub-defender/special teamer in his rookie season. The Patriots are routinely chastised for their willingness to trade away picks, but it's hard to dispute their ability to find gems at the right value.

The Browns' trade for Philadelphia cornerback Sheldon Brown doesn't preclude them from still drafting a cornerback high. Among the players visiting the team Tuesday was cornerback Devin McCourty of Rutgers University, a league source confirmed. McCourty is regarded as one of the top five cornerbacks in the draft. Some teams may have McCourty ranked on par with-or even slightly ahead of-Florida's Joe Haden. The Browns also had Haden in Tuesday, along with Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. Some teams have as many as 10 players visiting on the same day, due to scheduling constraints. The Browns previously worked out Haden and Tebow. They did not do that with McCourty. McCourty is expected to be taken between the 20th and 30th pick of the first round, the source said. Philadelphia and Baltimore are said to be most interested in him. The Browns may be covering their bases in case McCourty falls into the second round. Or they may be contemplating a trade down from No. 7 overall or a trade up from No. 38 in the second round. While it's been assumed Haden was the top cornerback on the Browns' radar screen throughout the draft process, Browns coach Eric Mangini indicated two weeks ago at the NFL owners meetings in Orlando, Fla., that he had not completed his evaluation of the position. "For me, I like to go through all the corners before putting them on a stack," he said. - Tony Grossi, The Cleveland Plain Dealer

Bandon Bing is the veteran, now in his senior year, his last chance to put together a strong season. He had emerged from the 2009 spring and fall camps as the starting cornerback opposite McCourty. But inconsistent play and mental lapses forced Coach Greg Schiano to demote Bing. Appearing in only seven games, Bing recorded a meager ten tackles.

McCourty is an average sized cornerback with good athleticism. He runs well but doesn't have premier speed out on and island. McCourty is a tough, competitive player that understands angles and route progressions. He is an active secondary defender that gets his hands on lots of balls but doesn't always make the interception. McCourty has great hips, agility and balance to turn and stay in the receiver's hip pocket. He does get overpowered at times versus larger receivers in block protection and on jump ball situations but he appears to know his limitations and is a defender. McCourty is a good football player that will likely contribute quickly at nickel back and special teams (returns as well as coverage units) in his rookie season.

McCourty is 5-10, 196 pounds and posted a time of 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He is a versatile player, who returned 14 kickoffs for 356 yards in 2009.

Pro Football Weekly lists positives for McCourty as "excellent speed and fluidity of movement. ... Outstanding special teams production and determination." Negatives include "has a thin frame and small ankles. ... Average ball skills and marginal hands. ... Did not make an abundance of defensive splash plays."

Darrell Givens is the rookie, a former Penn State signee who reneged due to academic issues. A four-star recruit, Givens is one of the most talented freshman in Schiano's new class, and has made an immediate impact, both encouraging and mildly frustrating. Looking to contribute on kickoffs, Givens let the opening kickoff of the first scrimmage roll pass him into the end zone. It was recovered for a touchdown, much to the frustration of his coaches. A few series later, on defense, Givens jumped a route and returned a 49-yard interception for a touchdown.

At Saint Joseph's High School, McCourty was an All-League first-team defensive back in each of his final two seasons. He added All-Bergen County honors from the Record as a senior, leading the team to an 11-1 record and a 42-8 victory over Pope John High in the Parochial Group III final at Rutgers Stadium. McCourty earned a total of three varsity letters, competing as a free safety as a sophomore and cornerback as a junior and senior. He also saw action on offense as a slotback. In his last year with the team, he recorded 50 tackles with three interceptions. Some of his senior season highlights included intercepting the first pass of the game vs. Paramus Catholic 43 yards for a touchdown, coming up with seven receptions for 145 yards and a touchdown vs. Bergen Catholic and posting 16 tackles and one interception vs. Don Bosco.

While developing his shutdown cornerback skills, McCourty is not only a top-notch coverage defender, but has also excelled inside the box. He made 91 of his 236 tackles in run support (38.56 percent) and has proven to be a drive-killer, as he registered an incredible 94 third-down stops and 33 more on fourth-down action (38.60 percent of his plays made resulted in killing the opposition's series).
In addition, McCourty recorded 23 tackles for the punt coverage unit and 27 more for the kickoff coverage squad. He has also blocked six punts and one field goal, as six of those blocks set up Rutgers scoring drives. Four more turnovers generated by the defensive back (three interceptions, one fumble recovery) have also led to Scarlet Knights touchdown drives. He also took over kickoff return duties as a senior, averaging 25.43 yards on 14 returns that included a 98-yard touchdown, third-longest in school annals.

Details movie review can be given only after we get to watch the movie. We are putting our best effort to bring the full review of Darling movie for you. Please share your view about Darling in the comment section below.

The much awaited Darling movie is all set to hit theaters today. The film, directed by A. Karunakaran features Prabhas (as Ganesh) and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles while Tamil actor Prabhu plays a key role. Prabhas fans are eagerly waiting for the Darling movie as they haven't seen any great film of Prabhas since the release of Varsham and Chatrapati movies.

Darling songs have already created sensation among the Telugu movie buffs. The combination of Karunakaran and Prabhas is another reason behind Darling's hype. Darling is expected to be the biggest hit of this year in Tollywood.

Prabhas is already very popular in Tollywood for his muscular and fits action roles. Kajal Agarwal too gained a lot of accolades for her performance in Magadheera. Her sweet and charming face is capable enough to steal the heart of young folks.

Prabhas latest film 'Darling' is gearing up for its release on April 23rd. Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in the film. The film also casts Shraddha Das and Tamil actor Prabhu in crucial roles. The movie has received clean 'U' certificate and now the film is releasing with a whopping number of 335 prints out of which 100 are digital prints and the remaining being celluloid prints. MOVIE RATING: waiting/4 (waiting) (Note: Our rating system is dynamic, we listen to the Audion's talk to rate the movie. So, kindly put your feedback by posting a comment. We like to listen your words!)

Darling is not exactly a horror film. Besides the spooky angle, the movie has ample moments of light humour. But it is the unpredictability element in the story that makes the movie watchable.

It wasn't with many expectations that I went to see this film. The horror of Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag still haunts me. But Ramu, being a man who can even prove himself wrong, surprises yet again with this week's release 'Darling'.

Although Some Rumors take place that the Film Songs Released Before the Film.

Kyle Wilson Wilson was taken 29th overall

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 03:25 AM PDT

Kyle Wilson
Kyle Wilson (born May 30, 1987) is an American football cornerback for the New York Jets. He formerly played for Boise State. He was considered one of the best cornerbacks available for the 2010 NFL Draft where he was drafted by the Jets as the 29th pick in the first round.

Wilson is an athletic versatile player that has immediate value giving depth to the secondary as well as contributing as a return specialist. He is aggressive to go after the ball as a coverage defender as well as fielding punts and kicks. Wilson understands angles and how to leverage the ball that may fit best in combination zone schemes. He shows good vision and instincts to find a crease as a punt returner. Wilson lacks great top end speed but shows excellent quickness and hips to be effective as a nickel defender. He is a willing run support player but isn't physical and needs to improve in this phase of the game. Wilson is a good football player that should contribute in a rookie season and eventually vie for a starting position.

The Jets' loaded defense gets some more star power with addition of Kyle Wilson. The Boise State standout was viewed as the top corner on some boards, and his skills make him an exceptional nickel corner. Additionally, he possesses the requisite grit and toughness that is demanded by the Jets' coaching staff. For a team that is loaded on defense, the landing of Wilson is a case of the rich getting richer.

Wilson is considered one of the best cornerbacks available in the 2010 NFL Draft, and draws comparisons to Dré Bly. According to Sports Illustrated′s Tony Pauline Wilson was "graded as a fringe middle round pick by NFL scouting services" prior to his senior season, "but has since cemented himself as a top 100 choice." He looks to be only the second defensive back from Boise State to be selected in the first three rounds of an NFL Draft, following with Gerald Alexander in 2007. Wilson will compete at the 2010 Senior Bowl on January 30 in Mobile, Alabama, and plans to train for the NFL at a facility in Florida. Wilson was taken 29th overall by the New York Jets, a team that does not play far from his hometown.

Brandon Graham I look at myself as the next one

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 03:15 AM PDT

Brandon Graham
Brandon is a short thickly-built player with good athleticism. He has very good initial quickness as an edge rusher but doesn't have elite speed or range in pursuit. Brandon uses his hands well to control and leverage blockers versus the run as well as to counter as a pass rusher. Graham is the Wolverines' most disruptive defender and plays with a high motor. He doesn't have enough burst and lateral agility to excel as a stand up player in the NFL but may be effective in zone blitz schemes in limited coverage responsibilities. Brandon is a good football player who should be productive at the next level in the right defensive scheme.

Brandon Lee Graham (born April 3, 1988 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American football defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was the 2009 Big Ten Conference Co-MVP as recognized by the Chicago Tribune Silver Football award. He was the 2009 FBS tackles (TFLs) for a loss (per game) champion after finishing second in 2008 by .01 TFL per game. He was the 2008 & 2009 Big Ten Conference TFL (total) champion.

elected team captain ... earned fourth varsity letter ... voted Bo Schembechler Most Valuable Player ... co-winner of the Chicago Tribune Silver Football with Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark ... Ted Hendricks Award finalist ... Rivals.com All-America first team ... Associated Press All-America second team ... Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America second team ... Sporting News All-America second team ... SI.com All-America second team ... CollegeFootballNews.com All-America second team ... Phil Steele's All-America fourth team

The Eagles appeared to solve some of their pass rush issues with a series of trades in the offseason, but the team targeted Graham due to his disruptive skills as an edge player. He possesses exceptional first-step quickness, and his relentless motor often leads to negative plays for the defense. With the Eagles seeking to bring pressure from all angles, Graham gives Sean McDermott another weapon in his arsenal.

The search for hybrid defensive ends that can make a transition to linebacker in the pros calls for some guesswork. But it also adds to the value of players like Brandon Graham of Michigan, one of the top-rated defensive ends - or 3-4 outside linebackers - in this year's draft class. Graham's production in college - a nation-best 26 tackles for loss as a senior - is hard to ignore. But so is the fact he's only 6-foot-1 and 265 pounds, hardly the prototype for a 4-3 defensive end. South Florida's Jason Pierre-Paul (6-5, 270) is more like it, and along with Georgia Tech's Derrick Morgan (6-3, 266) and perhaps Southern California's Everson Griffen (6-4, 270), they're the other likely first-round picks. "I watch (Denver's Elvis) Dumervil now - he was the (NFL's) leading sacker last year," said Graham, who could go as early as No. 12 to Miami.

"I look at myself as the next one. He's 6-1, he's small, a lot of people didn't think he could do it. But I believe whoever gets me is going to love me." The Lions staff loved what they saw from Graham coaching him at the Senior Bowl in January. Graham, who played linebacker before college, earned defensive MVP honors, but it was his work all week in practice that had scouts raving, cementing his status as a first-round pick. "He shows up with a smile on his face and he's a competitor," Lions defensive line coach Kris Kocurek said. "He loves to compete, he runs to the football. And the main thing about the kid is he loves football. You can tell. Every snap, every practice, he's always got a great attitude." - John Niyo, The Detroit News

A thickly built defensive lineman, Graham showcases a powerful-looking lower half and good flexibility out of his stance. Displays the strength to consistently hold the point of attack and set the edge against the run game. Possesses the length to stack and shed on contact and makes plays on the ball. Graham demonstrates a good first step off the edge, but he doesn't exhibit the burst to simply rely on his speed to reach the edge. Possesses good power on contact. Does a great job keeping his base down and extending his arms to deliver a jolting punch as a bull-rusher. Has power to simply drive his way though blocks once he gains an initial step. Plays with natural balance and flexibility when asked to drop his shoulder around the edge. Has the body control to keep his pad level down and accelerate under opposing tackles when flattening on the corner.

Displays good lateral quickness as a pass rusher. Does a nice job firing off the ball wide, planting his outside foot and exploding through the inside lane. Keeps his hands and legs in sync on his arm-over move. Is very sudden on contact. Using his length/quickness to disengage from blocks, Graham gets into the frame of linemen on contact. Looks like a starting-caliber three-down lineman at the next level. He has the skill set to win against both the run and pass game.

Dez Bryant involvement with Sanders ruined the Finals

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 03:00 AM PDT

Dez Bryant
Dez Bryant (born November 4, 1988 in Lufkin, Texas) is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. He received a small amount of Heisman consideration in 2008, and was considered one of the top prospects in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Bryant is an extremely talented receiver that has legitimate downfield speed as well as the ability to adjust to off-target throws. He missed the final 10 games of 2009 for lying to an NCAA investigator and his ability to control and handle the off-field issues that could come up have to be in question. He is extremely competitive to the ball when he is the target but sometimes shows a lackadaisical attitude when on the back side of plays or when asked to block. He needs to be more precise on his route running and not round off his breaks on the hard cuts. He could easily be the first receiver taken off the board if he can impress the personnel people in interviews.

The Cowboys halt Dez Bryant's free fall by nabbing him with the 24th selection. Though Bryant has been roundly labeled as a potential character risk, his exceptional talent is undeniable and he gives the Cowboys an all-star caliber pass catcher. With Roy Williams under performing, Bryant could become a key contributor early in his rookie season.

f Scott Pioli tabs him with the fifth pick, I won't complain. If Pioli trades down three or five or 10 slots in hopes of grabbing Bryant at a more appropriate location, I won't complain if things go wrong and another team surprises Pioli and nabs Bryant.

I want Dez Bryant. I'm aware of his baggage. He had a dysfunctional upbringing. He admits to being troubled by his mother's decision to live openly as a lesbian. Deion Sanders has been Bryant's mentor the last few years. Bryant's involvement with Sanders ruined the receiver's final season at Oklahoma State. And last year Sanders played a role in San Francisco rookie Michael Crabtree's long, pointless contract holdout.

I still want Dez Bryant.

In nearly two decades of covering Chiefs football, I've yet to see the team field an in-his-prime, big-time receiver. They've had tight end Tony Gonzalez, quarterback Trent Green, running backs Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson, linemen Willie Roaf, Will Shields and Brian Waters.

Bryant has the tools to be a solid NFL receiver. He has good size and athletic ability. Has excellent hands, and is not an easy tackle. Special team option as he's a solid punt returner. He doesn't possess great speed and his route running needs improving.

Bryant continues to show off his talent as a wide receiver. The only thing keeping him back is his image and reputation stemming from his suspension for lying to the NCAA. However, that is all just media hype. And media hype has nothing to do with what NFL teams know about Bryant. He is continuing to handle all the rumors with relative ease and as long as he did not tank any interviews, he will be the first receiver off the board and gone by the mid-way point of the first round.

Jimmy Clausen recovering from toe surgery

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 02:53 AM PDT

James Richard "Jimmy" Clausen (born September 21, 1987, in Thousand Oaks, California) is an American football quarterback. He currently attends the University of Notre Dame in his junior year. On December 7, 2009, Clausen announced his decision to forgo his final year at Notre Dame and enter the 2010 NFL Draft.

Started all 13 games at quarterback for the Irish and recorded the third-most prolific passing season in Notre Dame history ... completed 268 of his 440 pass attempts (60.9 pct) for 3,172 passing yards (244.0 yards per game) on the year ... tossed 25 touchdowns and had 17 interceptions ... established records for every major passing category by a sophomore Notre Dame quarterback ... the only better statistical seasons were Brady Quinn in 2005 and 2006 ... ranked 43rd in passing efficiency nationally at 132.49 and ranked 40th in total offense at 238.38 ... completed 21 of 34 (61.8 percent) passes for 237 yards and three TDs in season opener vs. San Diego State

Clausen has been the face of the Notre Dame program for the past three years and has shown improvement in virtually every aspect of his game each year. He lacks a cannon for an arm but he does have a live arm and a quick delivery that allows him to get the ball out quickly. He has close to a ¾-arm delivery which coupled with his lack of top height can cause some of his passes to get knocked down or tipped by pass rushers. He has been well coached and understands a pro style offense, so he is apt to come to camp better prepared than most. He is recovering from toe surgery and will not participate in combine drills.

Physically, Clausen is gifted. Remember, this is the same player Sports Illustrated called "the kid with the golden arm," when he was a junior in high school. He was one of the top recruits in the nation when he chose Notre Dame. One NFC college scouting director said he likes Clausen's arm better than that of Oklahoma's Sam Bradford, who is expected to be taken first overall. Why is there so much flux in Clausen's stock? "I don't think he is a no-brainer," one NFC general manager said. "He needs the right offense and the right coach. But if a team really wants a quarterback, they'll take him. There is enough to like." The Browns need a quarterback. But this is what new Browns President Mike Holmgren told Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain Dealer: "I wish I liked him more. You know that you have a type of player that you like? It's not scientific. People like him a lot. He'll go high. But it would be hard for me (to take him)." If you are from the nitpick school of scouting, you will ding him for having small hands (9 inches) and short arms (30 3/4 inches). He has had his toe surgically repaired since the season ended and still is not 100 percent, but he looked fine in a workout for NFL teams on April 9. Intangibles can be more important to quarterbacks than physical tools. While Clausen was very productive at Notre Dame, he wasn't the program savior he was reputed to be. His decision-making under pressure has been questioned. - Dan Pompei, Chicago Tribune

Jimmy Clausen is one of the top quarterback prospects to come out of Southern California in the past decade. In two years as a starter, Jimmy Clausen has a 28-0 record, and finished his junior year being named the state underclass player of the year. Threw for 2,778 yards on 156-of-231 passing and 30 touchdowns, leading Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian to a third straight CIF Division X title. The younger brother of former Tennessee starting quarterbacks Casey and Rick Clausen, the youngest of the three will likely be the top-ranked quarterback nationally in the class of 2007.

Clausen is as mechanically developed as any quarterback in the last decade. He has a very quick release he delivers from ear level, a strong arm and excellent accuracy. Clausen is mobile enough to get outside the pocket when needed and throws well on the run. He has excellent feet, makes quick and smart decisions and displays excellent poise and pocket presence. Clausen throws a nice deep ball, but his strength is in the intermediate passing game where he can deliver the ball with the most zip. He leads his targets well and knows how to throw the ball in tight coverage, putting it where only his receiver can catch it. Clausen gets into his drops quickly and sets well before most of his throws. He has good ball skills but needs to sell play action a bit better. He needs to add strength and fill out his frame.

Jimmy Clausen's reputation has been called into question by some analysts who believe he is cocky, immature, and lacking in leadership. Is it true? It's difficult to say, with all of the conflicting viewpoints. It's interesting to see that none of these reports on his character point to any specific instances, but rather speak in generalities.

More importantly, Jimmy Clausen made some great things happen on the football field. He had 28 touchdowns (with only 4 INT), a 68.0% completion percentage, and 3722 yards in 2009 with Notre Dame. While Notre Dame as a team had a less than spectacular year, it had more to do with poor defense than it did with Clausen's effort.

Tim Tebow Broncos devastating ankle injury

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 02:37 AM PDT

Tim Tebow Broncos
Orton has completed over 62 percent of his passes for 2,447 yards, 12 touchdowns, and only six interceptions. He has a decent quarterback rating of 87.9 and has been very effective in the Broncos' offense as a leader.

"I've always felt like if you've got the time and the patience to work with somebody and you think he has the kind of attributes to help your football team, you can work with that guy and really have something." Gary Kubiak-Texans

"Ball position, footwork, things like that — if a guy has it at his waist and you want to correct something like that, you can, That can be done with some work — footwork things, body position, how he looks over the field." Mike Shanahan-Redskins

"I had only met with them one time and it was an interview at the combine," Tebow said. "I hadn't done a workout for them or had a visit. We hadn't actually really talked to anybody from the Jaguars from the combine so I didn't really think that they were that interested."

t's a shocking move, as Tebow became the second QB chosen in the draft.

Tebow won the Heisman Trophy in 2007, but was widely criticized after a poor performance at the Senior Bowl. He began retooling his throwing motion.

Patrick Robinson trying to end that drought

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 02:31 AM PDT

Patrick Robinson
Patrick Robinson (born September 7, 1987 in Miami, Florida) is an American football cornerback for the New Orleans Saints.

1/17 Update: Robinson quickly got over his ankle injury and returned as the Seminoles' shutdown corner.

4/5 Update: Robinson has a confidence about him that makes him believe he can make every play.

Devin Mccourty I like to go through

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 02:26 AM PDT

Devin Mccourty
Devin McCourty (born August 13, 1987) is an American football cornerback for the New England Patriots. He played college football at Rutgers. He is considered one of the top cornerback prospects for the 2010 NFL Draft. McCourty was drafted by the Patriots in the 2010 NFL Draft with the 27th pick in the 1st round.

Don Bosco.
