Adobe accepts the Big Security flaws in Acrobat Reader, Flash Player

Security issues were coming out with Flash Players and Acrobat Readers. On Monday, Adobe admitted to the complaints on the security issues.

Adobe explained that the imperfection in the softwares may enable hackers to take the control of the affected PCs. He further added that the users using Operating Systems like, Windows, Mac, or Linux are all potential victims of the imperfection in the software.

Adobe recommends the users to download the latest Adobe Flash Player, version 10.1, which seems free from this problem. The company says that 95% of the PC users use Adobe all round the globe.
In the past, Mac has been the biggest player to stop the people from using the Adobe products. Steve Jobs, ones said that among other reasons, “the number one reason Macs crash.”

Apple iPhone 4 enables ‘Retina Display’

Apple has announced the arrival of its fourth generation iPhone – iPhone 4 at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2010 in San Francisco. With an operating system named iOS4, the iPhone 4 would be available in 16GB version priced at $199 and 32GB version at $299.

Sales are expected to commence from June starting with U.S., France, Germany, UK and Japan.

The Apple Phone 4 comes with a box like design with stainless steel rims. Thinner than its predecessor, the phone boasts of a 3.5mm headset jack, secondary mic and a sleep-wake up button on the top, while the primary mic, speaker and 30-pin connector port have been fixed at the bottom.

The unique ‘Retina Display’ offers fingerprint resistant multi touch feature with 960×640 pixel resolution, well enough to enjoy 720p HD movies. The Apple A4 System-on-Chip processor has been retained in the iPhone 4 as well.

In order to ensure better picture quality, the camera has been loaded with 5 megapixel sensor and LED Flash. A video calling facility 'FaceTime' has been enabled that can even run in the absence of the Wi-Fi.

The Accelerometer aimed at 6-axis motion sensing, Quadband HSDPA/HSUPA, Digital Compass, and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR among others are some of the interesting features to look out for.

The company has affirmed a battery life of up to 7 hours of talk time on 3G networks and 14 hours of talk time on 2G networks. The lithium-ion rechargeable battery enables to use the web for up to 10 hours on the iPhone 4.

The iTunes software upgradation is expected soon so as to make it fit for use in the iPhone 4.

Joran van der Sloot pleaded guilty to Kill Stephany Flores over Holloway Reports

Joran van der Sloot has been arrested for killing 21-year-old Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez after she reportedly came across certain evidence regarding Sloot's role in the Natalee Holloway extortion case. He confessed to the police that the incident took place at the Tac Hotel in Lima, after he happened to see the Peruvian woman using his laptop which contained many private matters including that of the Holloway disappearance. Both had a conversation over the issue and when the lady tried to escape, Sloot hit her to death.

The lady had disppeared a few days back and was spotted with Sloot of late.
The Dutchman had remained in the eye of suspicion eversince the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in 2005 during a study tour to Aruba. Her body was never found and the police claim that Van der Sloot had been giving extortion calls to her mother in exchange of the mystery surrounding her daughter's death. However, he had been evading arrest due to lack of proper evidence.

The latest incident that includes the laptop in question may lead to solid clues regarding the Holloway case. The police stumbled upon Sloot after a video footage showed both the victim and the suspect enter the hotel. He was on the run after the crime but was caught by the police in Chile.

Earthquake in Delhi: Mild earthquake of 3.0 intensity hit Uttar Pradesh: no casualties reported

An earthquake of a light intensity was reported in the western Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning. However, no loss of life and property has been reported yet.

An official of India Meteorological Department stated, “It was a light intensity earthquake. The tremors were recorded at 11.42 p.m. Monday.”

The earthquake, which measured 3.0 on the Richter Scale hit Uttar Pradesh, with its epicentre at Baghpat-Meerut border.

Uttar Pradesh shares its borders with the capital city of India. However, the earthquake had no effect on the capital city of the country.

Mamata getting busy after the win in West Bengal, and misses the meeting in Delhi on petrol price hike

After the big win of Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, Mamata is getting busy. So much busy that she even misses the metting of the Empowered Group of Ministers (EGOM) in Delhi. The meeting was held to discuss a very important issue of petrol price rise, and it’s effect on the people.

Ms. Banerjee instead preferred writing a note to Pranab Mukherjee, the Finance Minister and EGOM chairman. In the note, Ms. Banerjee urged not to increase the price of petrol, diesel and LPG, as it would be problematic for the general people.

Earlier Trinamool Congress also held rallies all around Kolkata to protest against the intended price rise, although at that time also, Mamata was not seeing accompanying her party in the rallies.

Ms. Banerjee was busy in Kolkata, spending the entire day with the party leaders, holding meetings to discuss the names for the mayor-in-council (MIC) of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC).
