RBI

According to the RBI, By the end of the fiscal year, the inflation was supposed to come down to 6% from that of earlier-10% but may be now it will stay that way for some time. Chances are that when demand in the market goes down a little, inflation would soon be curbed.

The Apex Bank is speculating inflation at 5.5% by the end of this financial year.

The RBI has thus increases lending loan rates by 0.25% and overnight borrowing rates by 0.50%.

"Non-food inflation has risen and demand-side pressures are clearly evident. With growth taking firm hold, the balance of policy stance has to shift decisively to containing inflation and anchoring inflationary expectations," the RBI said.

In June the inflation had gone as high as 10.55% and has been in double digits almost the whole year.

"If this pattern continues, final WPI inflation numbers for the coming months can be expected to be higher," it said.

Google Music Llaunch: Coming Soon Alongside Android Gingerbread 3.0

Posted: 27 Jul 2010 01:27 AM PDT

Google

Google

Google music, according to purported insiders, is all geared up for its music launch alongside Android Gingerbread 3.0. Google's Android head Andy Rubin has been reportedly negotiating with Harry fox agency to secure for its music service, tentatively called "Google Audio", 27000 songs over others. Google has been stepping up its talks and focusing on securing rights for independents to hasten the Music launch Date. There is a lot of possibility that the music launch date would be either November or in the month of December this year to capitalise on the holiday season of 2010.

The details are still scratchy but it has been claimed that the service would be unlike the 1 which is currently operating in China and was launched in the year 2008. The service in China is more like a search engine for music, which allows the Chinese users to search and download songs without any charge and needless to mention, is available only in China. It is however not definitive whether the much talked about Google service would be a streaming or downloading service or both. As Fox agency and Google have denied to  give any information on the discussions between them, it is a most probabilistic view that it may be regarding pricing issues.

The music industry is now ruled by Apple with a huge 28% of the market share. Behind it, Walmart and Amazon both share around 12%. If Google is hoping to capture a market like this, it has to deal with the completion besides ensuring quality music service to bring in the customers.

This is no secret that Russian Spies were roaming about in the cities of the U.S.A. 11 spies were busted, but there was one charming spy, who could mesmerize just about anybody.

The name is Anna Chapman. She belongs to the city of New York and looks no different from any of the Bond girls. Actually she is a real one.

Unfortunately, the green eyed girl has been sentenced to five years in prison by the U.S. Court for not disclosing herself as an intelligence agent to the U.S. Attorneys.

It seems it is completely normal and legal to send spies in another country as long as the Government of that country is aware of it.

Anna is a post-graduate in Economics and a divorcee. She has an apartment in the Financial District.

The 11, copped, had been living in New Jersey, Viginia and New York for about 10 years.

They were caught while Anna, in a coffee shop, was sending some secret information via computer to one the other 10, who was standing outside his car. They were connected by secret closed network. Click Here for Anna Chapman Spy Photos and Video

]Even the capital inflows by the foreign funds directly into the equities very well supported the INR sentiment.

The proceedings of the trade today were as follows: rise in sensex by 57.09 points which was about 31 per cent to 18,077.14 points.

KAJRAARE Release to be Postponed for a Later Date

Posted: 26 Jul 2010 11:16 PM PDT

KAJRAARE a movie directed by Pooja Bhatt along with Himesh Reshammiya and Mona Laizza in the lead role is all set to hit the cinema screens but due to certain reasons the release of the film has been postponed to a later date. The initial releasing date was set as August the 6th but not the slated date has forwarded to the 10th September, on the auspicious festival of Eid.

This change has really turned heads since the movie is high on the promotional aspect. The producer of the film, Bhushan Kumar talked upon this issue and said, “Yes, we are not releasing the film on 6th August. In fact, we haven’t taken a call on the new date yet.”  When inquiries were made related to the new release date and the competition it would supposedly face with movies like DABAANG and WE ARE FAMILY the producer replied, “It’s uncertain at the moment. We will arrive at a decision [on the new date] within a week or so.”

Now the main question on every one mind is that after all why was the date changed at all? Well Bhushan Kumar shed light on this aspect by informing, “Our distributors are of the opinion that we shouldn’t release the film during the holy month of Ramzan. Also, since we are planning to have a really big release in Pakistan, releasing the film during Ramzan would’ve hampered the business prospects. In view of the fact, we decided to shift the film to a latter date”

Yesterday was a a cowboy episode for the contestants of the musical talent hunt show, India Idol.

The special guest was the famous, Mithun Chakraborty. Mithun is now 60 yearls old and yet always has a style of presenting himself and his opinions.

This time he came in a cowboy Avataar! Everytime he had to appreciate a performer, he would pull the trigger twice. If he completely goes gaga over their performance, he would do the same, thrice.

Mithun has acted in many movies of the eighties. Some of his known ones are ‘Mrigayaa’, ‘Agneepath’, ‘Pyar Ka Mandir’, ‘Mujrim’ and ‘Guru’.

Shivam was filled with gratitude, when yesterday Mithun took him on a drive in his Merc.

He did so because it was one of Shivam’s unfulfilled dreams. He had never traveled in a big car before!
