In the semi finals Netherlands will face Uruguay while Germany to take Spain. The first semi final match is scheduled on 6th July while 2nd Semi final match is scheduled on the 7th July.

Paraguay vs Spain FIFA World Cup 2010 Quarter Final started

Paraguay vs Spain are playing the quarter final match which is the last quarter final match of the FIFA World cup 2010.  Winning teams of 4 quarter finals will be playing in the semi finals.

Three teams for the Semi Finals have been decided and fourth team is to be decided by the results of current ongoing football match. The Germany, Uruguay and Netherlands are the three teams. Germany Crushed Argentina in Quarter Final of FIFA World cup 2010

The Quarter final match of  Germany vs Argentina was scheduled today. The Argentina and Germany match was much awaited football match among the two ace football playing teams.

Both the sides were equally good but it was the day for Germany. Germany crushed the Argentina side with 4 goals and demolished the dream of Argentina to become the world cup champion while dream of Maradona to strip and run naked.

Poland wants to set up a state-of-the-art factory in Haryana

Chandigarh, July 3—Poland wants to set up a state-of-the-art factory in Haryana by expanding the operations of its company Con-Pack SA of Poland, currently located in Aurangabad. The Ambassador of Poland, Prof. Piotr Klodkowski, who called on the Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, at New Delhi today, made this offer and sought co-operation of the state government in identifying land and getting other facilities. The Chief Minister said that his government would have a positive attitude to any such initiative.
Prof. Klodkowski appreciated the progress made by Haryana in various fields, and expressed keen interest in having collaboration with the state. He enquired if Haryana would like to have a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with any of the provinces of Poland in any field-business, agriculture, food processing or academics.
Responding to the offer, Mr Hooda said that there was big scope for developing food processing industry in collaboration with Poland. He told the Polish Ambassador that every second car and motor-cycle made in India, was manufactured in Haryana.
Prof Klodkowski said that he himself being an academician would be keen on promoting exchanges in the field of culture and academics. He was told that Haryana would certainly like to promote exchanges in the field of education, especially in technical education.
Welcoming him, the Chief Minister said that Prof Klodkowski knew good Hindi. The Ambassador responded saying, "Yes, I love Sanskriti, Samaj and Itihaas of India."
Speaking about his love for India, Prof Klodkowski said that he had visited India many times. The first time he came to India was 25 years ago. He likes Indian movies and his favorite actors are Amitabh Bachhan, Amir Khan, and in earlier days, Raj Kapoor.

MDU Rohtak revised the admission counseling schedule

Chandigarh, July 3. Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has revised the admission counseling schedule of five year Integrated (Hons.) programmes in Mathematics, Commerce, Geography, Economics and English.
While stating this today, a spokesperson of the University said that merit list for admission to these courses would be displayed on July 7. First, second and third admission counselling would be held on July 8, July 9, and July 10 respectively in the respective departments.
He said that the MDU has also issued admission notice for Physical Education (C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., and M.P.Ed.) courses for the session 2010-2011. The last date for submitting application forms for these courses would be July 15. Details can be seen on the University's website-www.mdurohtak.com, he added.

Chandigarh, July 3 – The Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of four IAS and six HCS officers with immediate effect.
Mr.Vijai Vardhan, Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Printing and Stationery and Archaeology and Museums Department has been given the additional charge of Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Archives Department during the leave period of Mr.R.R.Fuliya. Mr.Anand Mohan Sharan, Additional Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, Director and Special Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment and also holding the charge of Director and Special Secretary, Rural Development Department during the leave period of Mr.Vijayendra Kumar has been given the additional charge of Administrator, Trade Fair Authority, Haryana.
R.P.Gupta, Administrator, HUDA(Hqrs), Panchkula will also look after the work of Administration, HUDA, Panchkula in place of Surjeet Singh who becomes Director and Joint Secretary, Development and Panchayats Department against a vacant post.
Vinay Singh, Additional Director(Admn.) and Deputy Secretary, Secondary Education Department has been given the additional charge of Member Secretary, Utkarsh Society, Haryana, Panchkula against a vacant post. Sultan Singh Ghoswal, Secretary, RTA, Mewat and Secretary, RTA, Palwal will also look after the work of City Magistrate, Mewat at Nuh against a vacant post.
Dharam Pal Singh, City Magistrate, Hisar has been given the additional charge of Estate Officer, HUDA, Hisar, Land Acquisition Officer, PW(B&R), Hisar and Land Acquisition Officer, Urban Estate, Hisar during the leave period of Sujan Singh. UHBVN & DHBVN made sufficient arrangements for supply of power in July

Chandigarh, July 3 – To meet the growing demand of electricity during the ongoing paddy season and due to scorching heat, the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) and the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) have made sufficient arrangements for supply of power during the month of July, 2010.
While stating this here today, a spokesman for Haryana Power Utilities said that the average demand of electricity would be 1177.74 lakh units daily in the State. As many as 927.90 lakh units of power would be available from long term arrangements. The State would require 249.84 lakh units of electricity daily through short term arrangements to bridge the gap between demand and supply.
He said that the Power Utilities have made banking arrangements under which 200 MW would be available from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, 68 MW from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board and 100 MW from NVVN (West Bengal) round-the-clock.The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board, Mittal MP TRADECO and NVVN, Assam would return 70 MW, 71 MW and 40 MW of power respectively to Haryana under the return banking arrangements.
It has been decided to procure 250 MW from JSW, 100 MW from NVVN, West Bengal and 216 MW from Government of Himachal Pradesh through Power Trading Corporation. The State would get 246.45 lakh units of electricity daily from these arrangements.
He said that the existing schedule of minimum eight hours power supply to agricultural tubewells, 16 hours to industrial category consumers and 20 hours to urban domestic consumers would continue during the current month. Relaxation in power regulations would be considered in view of the grid frequency, availability of power and other technical parameters.
