19th FIFA world cup is being hosted first time by any of the African nation. South Africa became the first African country to host the football world cup. South African President Jacob Zuma is delighted with the efficiency and success of the FIFA WORLD CUP 2010.

FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 has two more matches to be played. One match is scheduled on 10th of July for the third place, match of Germany vs Uruguay. While the final match is scheduled on 11th of July, fight for the championship. Final match to be played by Spain vs Netherlands.

Spain to contest with Netherlands for World Cup

Two European teams will fight for the title of FIFA World Cup 2010. Only one team from the Latin America entered into the Semi Final i.e. Uruguay But that what defeated by the Netherlands.  Rest three teams of the Semi Finals were Germany, Netherlands and Spain.

Now Spain and Netherlands will play final on 11th of July 2010 while Uruguay vs Germany match of FIFA world cup will be played for the third position. Though all the matches of the semifinals were interesting and entertaining but Netherlands and Spain made their entry for the final.

Larissa Riquelme the Paraguayan Lingerie Model and also titled as the Girl Friend of World Cup 2010 / Darling of Football World Cup 2010 made the statement after the defeat of Paraguay that she would be stripping and running naked if Spain wins.

Spanish players have done their job and now it’s turn of Larissa Riquelme to keep her promise. Lingerie model from Paraguay who has previously also appeared naked into magazine is supposed to run naked for her fans around the world as a celebration of the Spain Football team.

In the second semi final match of FIFA world cup, Spain got the lead of one goal against Germany in second half. Now Spain will play with Germany in the final of FIFA world cup 2010.

Spain vs Germany Football match was neck to neck till the 70th minutes. A goal was made by Spain to the Germany which became fatal for the German side. Now Spain will play with Netherlands for the clash of the Title of World champion on 11th July.

Germany and Uruguay will contest for the third position in the FIFA World Cup.  It seems Larrisa Requelme has the right time to strip and run naked for the supporters of the Spain as well as the fans of her around the world.

Haryana Health Department taking measures to prevent the outbreak of water borne diseases

Chandigarh, July 7-With the ongoing rainy season and heavy rains during last 2-3 days in Haryana, the State Health Department has taken measures to prevent the outbreak of water borne diseases like diarrhea, dysentery, gastroenteritis, cholera, jaundice and enteric fever. Necessary instructions in this regard have been issued to all Civil Surgeons in the State.
Nodal officers have been appointed at the state level to coordinate with district health officers and take effective measures to check outbreak of water borne diseases. They are Dr D.P. Lochan, Director Lab (Mob-09216956184) and Dr J.C. Garg, Deputy Director (Planning) (Mob-09216956175). At district headquarters the District Health Officer would be Nodal Officer. At the State Level, Supervisory medical teams have been constituted for preventive and curative services in flood affected areas, especially Ambala.
In collaboration with the district administration, reports of all vital information on flood situation and water borne disease are being regularly monitored at the district level.Flood Control Room has been set up at the State headquarters and at the district headquarters. The phone number of the state headquarters flood control room are 0172-2585504 and 2585505 (Fax) and 0172-258550.Directions have been given and medical teams have been constituted in all districts for providing preventive and curative services in the affected areas. Instructions have been issued to acquire adequate stock of essential medicines including emergency drugs, anti snake venom and insecticidal sprays in all districts as and when required.
Water samples from various sources are being tested to ensure safe drinking water and all the sources of drinking water are being chlorinated. Distribution of halogen tablets and bleaching powder is going on.A close watch is being kept so that any rise in incidence of disease could be noted at a very early stage. Flood report on daily basis is being sent by district units through fax and email to State headquarters.
During rainy season, the contamination of drinking water increases manifold. As a result of this, the risk of impending outbreak of water borne diseases like diarrhea, dysentery, gastroenteritis, cholera, jaundice and enteric fever are expected to rise as these diseases primarily spread by contamination of drinking water with sewage due to leakage in drinking water supply pipes. To prevent the spread of water borne diseases, all the Civil Surgeons of Haryana have taken the following measures.

Chandigarh, July 7– The Mines and Geology Department, Haryana has
designated Mr S.K. Gupta, Mining Engineer as State Public Information
Officer in respect of matters relating to Headquarters under Right to
Information Act-2005.
The Haryana Government has given additional charge
of the office of Radio, Press and Liaison Officer (R.P.L.O.) to Mr
Rajinder Parsad, District Information and Public Relations Officer
(DIPRO), Rohtak.


Haryana Government formulated policy for setting up of warehouses in agriculture zone

Chandigarh, July 7– The Haryana Government has formulated policy for setting up of warehouses in agriculture zone.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Town and Country
Planning Department, Haryana said that the warehousing activities included setting up of integrated Inland Container Depots or Custom Bounded Areas, Warehouse for Agro Produces or grain godowns, gas godown, Warehouse other than agriculture produces. These activities would be allowed in the agriculture zone as well as in the industrial zones.
He said that the minimum area for setting up of Integrated, inland,
container, depots or custom bounded areas would be 50 acres in hyper
potential zone and high potential zone, 25 acres in medium potential
zone and 10 acres in low potential zone. The minimum area for setting
up warehouse other than agricultural produces would be five acres in
hyper potential zone and high potential zone, two acres each in medium
potential zone and low potential zone. Minimum area for warehouse for
agro produces/grain godowns would be two acres each in all the four
zones. Similarly, minimum area for gas godown would be 0.18 acres in
all the four zones.
For integrated inland container depots or custom bounded area,
availability of railway siding was pre-requisite and the approach for
warehouses or Integrated Inland Container Depots or Custom Bounded Areas would be from Revenue Rasta or Panchayati Rasta. For Gas Godown, the approach from private rasta might be considered, he added.
The spokesman said that the FAR allowed for warehouses was 75 per cent and five per cent of the total permissible area would be reserved
for offices, essential watch and ward staff residences. The application
would be scrutinized in accordance with the detailed tentative
schematic plan submitted by the applicant company/applicant and
zoning plan will be approved by the Director, Town and Country Planning,
Haryana.
A setback of 6-metre all-round in case of warehouses for agro
produces or grain godowns, 9- metre for warehouses other than Agriculture
Produces and 15 mts for Integrated Inland Container Depots or Custom
Bounded Areas should be provided. If a warehouse contained storage of
agro produce and also products other than agriculture produce, then
the setbacks required for warehouse other than agriculture produce
should be followed, he added.
He said that Ticketing Machine Room/ Cloak room/ Toilets/ Wireless
Stations or Canteen or Security Rooms or Generator Room would be allowed. Security Room, Ticketing Machine and Toilets might be allowed in the setback with the condition that whenever the land was required for
widening of roads, the same can be acquired by the developing agency.
These facilities might be provided at a distance of 9-metre from the
main building.
He said that the conversion charges for "Gas Godown" would be at par with for the category "warehouses other than agriculture produce" and
15 per cent of the site area would be reserved for idle parking. To
avoid nuisance to the vehicular traffic, no idle parking would be made
on the approach road. The segregated area of idle parking of trucks
should be located by providing gate in a receded position vis-à-vis
the plot boundary.
The applications for granting CLU permissions which are in pipeline
would be covered under this policy.


Union Ministry directed to Haryana Govt on RTI

Chandigarh, July 7– Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of Personnel and Training has issued clarifications
regarding disclosure of third party information under the Right to
Information (RTI) Act-2005.
A letter to this effect received by the Chief Secretary, Haryana
states that in number of cases the Government makes inter departmental
consultations. In the process, a public authority might send some
confidential papers to another public authority. In such a situation,
confidential papers could be disclosed under RTI Act by the recipient
public authority only by adopting procedures laid down in section 11
of the Act.
The section 11 of the Right to Information Act provides that if a Public Information Officer (PIO) intends to disclose an information supplied
by a third party, which the third party has treated as confidential,
the PIO before taking a decision to disclose the information shall
invite the third party to make submission in the matter.
The third party has a right to make an appeal to the Departmental
Appellate Authority against the decision of the PIO and if not
satisfied with the decision of the Departmental Appellate Authority, a
second appeal to the concerned Information Commission can be made. The PIO cannot disclose such information unless the procedure prescribed
in section 11 is completed.


Official machinery has been fully mobilised: Engineer-in-Chief of Haryana PWD

Chandigarh, July 7– The official machinery has been fully mobilised
and all National, State Highways and major district roads are
functional, disclosed the Engineer-in-Chief of Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, Mr Mahesh Kumar after visiting Ambala on here today.
Mr Kumar said that as per the State Government directions, the
department officials have been put on alert and he himself is
monitoring the functioning of the National and State Highways and major
district roads in the State. He said that the flood affected roads
would be repaired within 15 days of the receding of water from the
roads.


Government has intensified its rescue and relief operation in flood affected areas: Hooda

Chandigarh, July 7- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that the State Government has intensified its rescue and relief operation in flood affected areas of Ambala and Kurukshetra districts where hundreds of villages have been affected and apart from Army, a 100 member team of National Disaster Management Authority has also reached to assist the State Government.
The Chief Minister, who was replying to the questions of media persons, here today, shortly before visiting the flood affected areas of Ambala and Kurukshetra districts, said that special girdawri would be conducted to assess damage caused due to floods and all possible assistance would be provided to the affected people.In reply to a question he said that schools have been closed for two days in affected areas.
The Chief Minister said that while the water of Tangri river had overflowed in district Ambala thus flooding the city as well as villages, the SYL canal had about 40 feet wide breach near Jyotisar in Kurukshetra district which flooded the rural areas of the district.
The team of National Disaster Management Authority includes swimmers and doctors and has brought all necessary life saving equipment like boats and life saving jackets.
Meanwhile Financial Commissioner and Principle Secretary, Irrigation, Mr S.S.Dhillon said that the water of SYL canal was being diverted to Narwana Canal which was carrying 4000 cusecs of water yesterday and today it's level was of 1000 cusecs. He said that after the flow of water got reduced, the breach would be plugged. He said that all affected highways have been made functional to ensure flow of traffic.
Director General Police, Mr R.S.Dalal said that swimmers of police and other police personnel have been deployed in a large number to assist the affected people.


Career guidance week in Haryana from July 12 to 16, 2010

Chandigarh, July 7- All the Employment Exchanges in Haryana are observing career guidance week from July 12 to 16, 2010.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Employment Department said that during the week, the students who would pass out from high or higher secondary schools or colleges would be provided information regarding jobs and they would also be helped in choosing their career as per their qualification and interest.
During the week, lectures would also be delivered by experienced subject specialists and exhibitions of career related materials would also be put up at the Employment Exchanges, he added.
