Although Swayamwar of Mona Singh is likely to add charms to the show's reputation yet there is something amazing that will make "Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega" a real treat to watch is hypnotic, mesmerizing, scintillating, awesome and frantic, fabulous, tempting a super cool dance caliber of none other than "The Super Hot Rakhi Sawant". Rakhi is likely to strewn this reality show with her matchless dance and steal the show forever. Today Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega will come to an end as Mona Singh will choose a hubby for herself out of the two remaining contestants. The contestants who are in contention are our own Monty Singh and Akbar. But Mona Singh is in all sorts of trouble in terms of choosing a hubby for herself. Brindaban team is all set to travel Europe for its shooting schedule. NTR has shown tremendous professionalism as an actor. Though, he is suffering from wounds and injuries but he did not stop the shooting and his ill health did not bar him from carrying out his job. He is working on two assignments simultaneously so that he could take a break in September for his marriage. He is working with Meher Ramesh in his upcoming movie "Shakti". The misic of the video is scheduled to be released on this September12th. Thaman is giving the music and according to the sources, the music has come out really well. The director as well as Thaman has equally worked for the music, sitting hours together to compose it. Though, the score of Vamsi's first so ever movie too had some magical numbers but the album was composed by Jayaraj, so this time too he is expecting to get the best out of Thaman. Brindaban is a family entertainer produced under the banner of Dil Raju and directed by Vamsi Paidpally. The movie is expected to release in October. |

Cast: Raj Singh Chaudhary, Vinay Pathak, Swati Sen, Akhilendra Mishra, Jaya Bhattacharya Direction: Sushil RajpalGenre: Drama Antardwand is a movie that delves into the realities of life, some hard-to-believe truth that the modern so-called educated India is yet to accept. The script deals with the story of a young Bihari boy who is in an out of the fire into the frying pan condition. The cast is a great one with veteran actors in the field of non-commercial cinema. Vinay Pathak is awesome as usual. This time he essays the role of a father who dreams of his son having a bright future as an IAS officer. Living your won dreams through your ward is something quite common thing that Indians face and Antardwand portrays it beautifully. But Antardwand is basically a story based on the now common menace of groom kidnapping in Bihar. The hero of our story Raghubir (Raj Singh Chaudhary) is an obedient son out to fulfill his father's dreams. But once his father (Vinay Pathak) denies to accept his son's girlfriend he breaks down and leaves home only to end up being kidnapped by a greedy family set to find the perfect groom for their daughter. Akhilendra Mishra plays the father of the girl to whom Raghubir is forcefully married off to. The characters are well developed and realistic. The setting in the semi-urban locale captures the true essence of Bihar. Also the dialogues delivered in perfect Bihari accent add charm to the movie. Directed by Sushil Rajpal the movie Antardwand is very deserving of the National Award for Best Film on social issues that was conferred on it. So if you are looking for another Peepli[Live] minus the fanfare but tre to its core you should go see this movie. A perfect portrayal of the India that everyone is aware of but no one speaks about-Antardwand is a must watch. |

The Hera Pheri brand starrer Akshay Kumar seems to have gone far off wide this time for the producer Feroz Nadiawala in terms of money. The man had been eagerly waiting for the Hera Phera series with Hera Pheri 3, but the money factor makes the star Akshay not stepping into the character this time. Now this has led to the Producer to make a change in the entire cast of the Heri Pheri 3 with replacing Akshay Kumar with Abhishek, Nana Patekar goes into Paresh Rawal’s role, and Sanjay Dutt plays Suniel Shetty’s part. Over this, Feroz says, “I first started discussing the third Hera Pheri movie with Akshay in 2006. I never wanted to make it without him. It’s sad that we couldn’t come to an agreement. Akshay is like a brother. But I can’t afford him.I hope we work together again very soon." Although Feroz is still highly excited with the excellent script that the director Anees Bazmi brings for the Hera Pheri 3, and says, “It’s going going to be one of the funniest comedies in living memory,” promises Feroz. |

After a long period of time, John Abraham would be seen doing something different {acting} apart from his usual body show off stuff on screen. He has been labeled as a body showing actor but Nagesh Kukunoor definitely comes a savior for him. He takes the best out of the star in his upcoming movie, Aashayein, in which John plays the lead role. The plot of the story goes, Rahul Sharma {John Abraham} is deeply in love with his long time girlfriend Nafisa(Sonal Sehgal) and is all set to marry her, but suddenly he knows that he has got cancer and has just a few more years to live. So whether, Rahul fights it out till his last breadth or succumbs to the disease is the story all about. Though, the movie has been in shelf for a long time, but it hasn't lost its essence. The basic issue remains untouched by director till now and surely Kukunoor's treatment to such a sensitive issue is a worth watch. When Rahul suddenly gets to know about his fatal disease he loses the basic reason to live and shuns all the people around him and takes salvage at a home for terminal patient to snub all the people around him, including his long time and devoted girlfriend. But here he finds another inmate, who appears to be the hope in despair. He makes friends, relationships which become more valuable to hm than anything else in the world. John surprises with his acting, the relationship between Rahul and Padma, a 17 year old girl who is a brat. Padma acts as the foil to him but eventually they share a mutual bond of respect and affection. They make the concept of age old soul mates appear true on the screen. Aashayein is surely a worth watch, just for the sake of acting, not for skin show. |

So finally Raveena Tondon and Karisma Kapoor come together, though not in a movie but a daily reality show, Kitchen Champion on colors channel. The show would be hosted by Ronit Roy. The show is in its third season. The show is picking up pace with the audience after it started the last week. Along with Raveena and Karisma , there would be some more actresses from the industry trying their hands at cooking. The format is such that the celebrities have to pair up with other women to make dishes and guide them. The tasks might go from making innovative salads, snacks and other new utilities of household ingredients. “After tasting success with the first two seasons of the innovative cooking reality show, we decided to launch the third season. Season three will see viewers as participants who will battle it out in the kitchen with support from a Bollywood celebrity each week,” said the programming head of the channel. Till now Prachi Desai has appeared in the show. After a huge success of both the years, this time the format has been molded to give the show a middle class touch by the celebrity-housewife pairing. Last team we saw only TV stars participating. |
| Jhootha Hi Sahi: John Abraham’s geeky look Posted: 26 Aug 2010 04:59 AM PDT  John Abraham After, Dostana, John is coming up with another comedy Jhootha Hi Sahi, which will be directed by Jaane Tu Jaane Na fame Abbas Tyrewala. John plays the role of an incorrigible liar. He will be casted opposite of Paakhi, Tyrewala's wife. The USP of the movie is A.R.Rahman's music. Another major thing about the movie is John's look. Many a times we have seen him flaunting his body, but in this movie as far as the promos go he was seen sporting a geeky look. But before jumping on to any conclusions watch Bollywood Hungama, which exclusively shows the promos of the movie. Till now only one shot of the movie is out, where John was seen climbing up a building and unveiling a poster. John's body has always been the subject of talk and speculation rather than his acting. Tarun Mansukhani now strips him in a different and innovative way in Dostana 2. But as far as the gossip mills go, John is supposedly playing a geeky spectacled guy in the movie, Jhootha Hi Sahi. He is supposed to flaunt a flabby physique. “After Dostana how much more can John strip without getting into his birthday suit?” says Tarun in exasperations as he sits on the storyboard poring over ways to make John look like a reborn beefcake. To add more reality to his character , John even wanted to do a buckteeth makeup but was declined by the director. Says the director, “This is a side to John that no one has seen. He’s painfully ordinary in speech, body language and clothes. He wears thick glasses and can’t look straight into anyone’s eyes.” Confirms Tyrewala, “Yup, no designer clothes for John in Jhootha Hi Sahi. We shopped for his clothes in retail outlets, actually purchased working-class labels like Arrow and Raymonds.” Forget the itsybitsy swimming trunks from Dostana. John actually slouches and shuffles his way through Jhootha Hi Sahi trying to blend into the crowds. Naturally, stripping for the camera would seem like the last thing on the character’s mind. But hang on! John’s nerdy character does take off his clothes in Jhootha Hi Sahi. “And when he does strip, boy does it come as a shock,” chortles the director. Apparently, John got flabby for the stripping scene. When he disrobes fans would be shocked to see a little paunch peeping out. Says Abbas, “John wanted to put on a lot more weight. I decided against overdoing it. Those who are used to seeing his chiselled body would be shocked by the absence of contours when he strips.” Ask John and he chuckles, “From a Greek to a Geek, long journey I think.” |

The actor who is busy with his upcoming movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara by Zoya Ahktar tweeted on the micro blogging site that he is putting in 13 hours of hard work everyday for the past three months continuously in the making of his flick that stars Katrina Kaif and is being shot in Spain. Hrithik also added that his extreme of hard work was not at all tiring or boring for him because of the incredible people who were always with him. The movie also casts the famous duo of Kalki Koechlin and Abhay Deol including Zoya's famous actor cum director brother, Farhan Akhtar. Also it is Farhan who is handling the production front of the movie while the movie score goes to the famous trio Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy. Well it seems that the actor is actually working on not missing a single moment of his life as the title of his movie says and is completely making an attempt to recreate the magic he did before kites crashed his career even though it had an international actress like Barbara Mori. |

 Mother Teresa Mother Teresa the epitome of love and faith, graced Earth on August 26, 1910, born to Albanian parents. Today as the world unites to celebrate the 100th birthday of the missionary, let's take a look at Mother Teresa's biography- She was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in what is now Skopje, Macedonia. From the young age of 12 she answered the call of the heavenly Father and by 18 she was ready to set forth on her duty to serve as a nun. She left home to join Sisters of Loreto, the Irish community that sent nuns to India. In 1929 she arrived here and on May24th 1931 took her vows and was given the name by which we now recognize her. The world outside the school St. Mary's where she taught initially troubled her. And finally she set forth on her missionary work, helping the poor in Calcutta in 1948. Soon after just 2 years, she was able to form “The Missionaries of Charity” whose mission was to look after those whom the world ignores. Her efforts got recognition and soon the Society turned into International Religious Family when Pope Paul VI passed a decree to that effect. Since then there was no looking back for her as she strove tirelessly to help the poor and the needy. In 1997 when Mother Teresa breathed her last, she was buried in the order's headquarters and now hundreds of the faithful flock to the site to pay their respects to her. In 2003 she was beatified by the Vatican. Mother Teresa is yet to attain sainthood as a medical miracle is still awaited to prove her divine powers. Mother Teresa's 100th birthday is being celebrated all over the world. In India, specially Kolkata special mass had been organized. Cardinal Telesphore Placidus Toppo of Ranchi presided over the mass that was held in the Missionaries of Charity headquarters. The chapel was decorated with flowers and candles were lit. The crowd that gathered to hear Pope Benedict XVI's message at the service was huge. The Pope has said-”I am confident that this year will be, for the church and the world, an occasion of joyful gratitude to God for the inestimable gift that Mother Teresa was in her lifetime and continues to be through the affectionate and tireless work of you, her spiritual children." Sister Nirmala who succeeded Mother Teresa and Sister Prema the head of the Missionaries of Charity then proceeded to release white doves as a mark of peace & compassion for all. In all over India the festivities are huge. President Smt. Pratibha Patil also addressed the public ceremony in New Delhi which was hosted to honor Mother Teresa today. Even the Indian leading comics publisher Amar Chitra Katha has announced a special comic book on Mother Teresa. Elsewhere, the Nobel Peace Prize winner's 100th birthday is being celebrated with much pomp & gaiety specially in New York. The Times Square is also gearing up to celebrate the cemetery birthday celebration of Mother Teresa by putting up white & blue boardings and neon lights to light up the evening as the Great White Way. |

With the high popularity of the star plus show Prithviraj Chauhan, Rajat tokas who had played the lead role of the bold and passionate lover in his younger days has gained immense popularity. He will now be again seen in the Balaji's upcoming television show and will play the character of Keshav Pandit younger days. This stint in this serial will only last for three or so episodes only. But the viewers should not be disappointed as the famous Prithviraj has been already chosen to cast in another show on star plus which is again produced by balaji Telefilms and is called Tere liye. According to the buzz it was noticed that Balaji always had a big plan in mind of Rajat Tokas for which they were looking for a good and substantial role which could suit his personality and therefore decided to cast him in Tere Liye which would be their latest show on the same channel, Star Plus. This was decided by the production house even before they had thought of his small stint in Keshav Pandit on Zee TV. The female lead for this upcoming show has not been finalized and on the other hand, the main lead will be played by Harshad Chopra and Rajat Tokas has been roped in to play a parallel lead for the show. |
| Janmashtami 2010 Celebration Around The Corner Posted: 26 Aug 2010 02:00 AM PDT  Janmashtami 2010 Janmashtami 2010 is around the corner as this year it is going to be celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of September accordingly. Janmashtami which marks the birth of Lord Krishna, the famous Hindu deity comes on the eighth day of the Savana (monsoon) month according to Hindu calendar. Mythology has it that Lord Krishna was born under the Rohini nakshatram in the mid night hours. It also states that the dark night of his birth was full of weather turbulence while he was born in the boundaries of a prison. His both parents were imprisoned by his cruel uncle Kansa, and his birth was to mark an end to his atrocities. 5,227 years ago in the year of Visvavasu, lord Krishna came to this earth when the moon entered the Rohini Nakshatra. The celebration for this festival is observed for two days as the Ashtami and Rohini Nakshatra tithi may not be on the same day. The first day of celebration is called as the Krishnashtami while the second is called Kalashtami. The main celebration of this occasion begins by the midnight as devotes bathe the lord in a mixture of five elements called the panchamrit and then sing hymns, dance and rejoice to celebrate his birth.Many observe fast for the two consequent days while some fast for a single day until midnight hours.  Nandamuri Balakrishna Nandamuri Balakrishna popularly known as NBK is all set to deliver some hair raising action stunt sequences along with the popular fight guru Ram-Lakshman at unrevealed locations that are reportedly risky for his new film 'Param Veer Chakra' with director Dasari Narayana Rao. For Dasari this is his 150th flick and even though he hasn't worked with NBK before but he has indeed worked with his father Late NT Ramarao on some blockbuster hit films. According to the director the film will be shot for a continuous month uninterrupted on a special set that has been setup in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City. The producer of this flick is C.Kalyan and it stars actors like Balayya, Amisha Patel and Rama Prabha including Nandamuri Balakrishna. Also another actress named Sheela will also be a part of the shooting in the later part. A great portion of the movie according to the theme will be picturised in the Himalayan ranges also the movie shares resemblance with NTR's two flicks that were also directed by Dasari called Bobbili Puli and Danaveera Sura Karna because of its theme of patriotism. These two were made in the late 1970's so as viewers hope this will have something new to watch out for on the same line. |
| Suzuki SlingShot: A new offering by Suzuki Posted: 26 Aug 2010 12:11 AM PDT  Suzuki SlingShot New Delhi, August 26, 2010: Keeping in mind the popular demands of fuel efficiency and style, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd, the subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation in India has launched its latest product, the Sling Shot. Along with the launch of the motorcycle the company also made public its intention of investing Rs.500 crore with the aim of enhancing the production capacity to double of the present by 2012. It's a 125cc bike priced Rs.43, 945. The bike, according to Katsumi Takata, the Chairman of Suzuki Motorcycle India, is designed to fill the gap between 100cc and 150cc bikes since it is endowed with the style of a 150cc bike and a 100cc bike's efficiency. Mr. Atul Gupta, Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) of Suzuki Motorcycle India says that for enhanced mileage and reduced emissions the bike is fitted with 'pulsed-secondary air-injection (PAIR)’ system which provides high combustion efficiency. He further said that though the bike is of 125cc, it has all the features like style, performance, comfort and practicality which makes it unique in its own right. Talking about investment Mr. Takata said that in the year till now a total of Rs.450 crore has been invested and another 50 crore will be invested to meet the target of Rs.500 crore by the year end. As far as enhancing production capacity is concerned Mr. Takata pointed out that the company is aiming to attain the production capacity of 5.40 lakh units by 2012 from 2.50 lakh units at present. In reference to the sales, Mr. Gupta opined that of the total annual production of 5.40 lakh units in 2012, 60% sale is expected to happen from scooters and 40% from motorcycles. At present the company has 260 dealers across the nation and has sold 1.80 lakh units in 2009-2010, both scooters and motorcycles combined but the aim of the company is to achieve a sale of 2.70 lakh units by the end of the year. |

| Indian Rupee Gaining Power in The World Economy, Dollar Loosing it Posted: 25 Aug 2010 11:41 PM PDT  Rupee vs dollar The changing value of Indian rupee in the international market is creating concerns for even the world largest economy when its value rose on Thursday which was propelled by few profit margins in shares which were more or less native and the falling of the dollar value which has again shocked the economist and the trade analyst. The time was around 10.15 a.m in the morning when the value of the Indian rupee rose to 46.80/81 on every dollar which was on comparison 0.2 per cent more than the value on which the market was closed on the previous day. It was 46.90/91 per dollar on Wednesday. According to the resources it was noticed that the shares for Indian companies experienced a profit in their value of 0.4 per cent and the leaders in the profit margin were ICICI Bank and the Reliance Industries which are hiking the markets of Asia. Besides this, the manager of forex which works with in collaboration with Union Bank of India, Kushal Maheshwari had maintained the information that the equity box seems very bright and positive and euro is also managing $1.27. He further added that any rise in equity would increase the value of the Indian rupee too. |
