Google in many countries like India, china is displaying a special logo doodle celebrating Tetris. The text says "Celebrating 25 Years of The Tetris Effect – courtesy of Tetris Holding, LLC", and its linked to a search for tetris. Wikipedia knows: "Tetris … is a puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov. It was released on June 6, 1984". It is named after the video game Tetris. In the game a player rotates and moves different falling tetrominoes, or shapes made up of four adjacent square blocks. If the player can arrange the shapes so there are complete horizontal lines of blocks without any gaps, those lines are eliminated. The object of the game is to eliminate as many lines as possible before the shapes fill the screen. They might also see images of falling Tetris shapes at the edges of their visual fields or when they close their eyes. In this sense, the Tetris effect is a form of hallucination. |

Perhaps my mind is in the pot. I am not sure. I’ve been told it was in the gutter, but I tried cleaning it up. Anyway, Cowboy Caleb linked to a post I had written about China's Top 5 Nude Girl Posters . So, I decided to visit his site – Cowboy Caleb to see what I could see. China is doing something smart, I think. Recently it signed a deal to cooperate with Japan on oil and gas exploration and purchasing. Now, India and China have signed a major pact on exploration, production and acquisition of oil assets. Instead of competing with one another and letting the slick middle easterners win, the two giants have decided to cooperate and perhaps control oil prices by demand rather than by supply. China's delegate said there is a "need for the two countries to bid together for oil assets so as to avoid a price war, official sources said." "'We cannot avoid competition. However, where we can avoid competition, we will try to cooperate and jointly bid for oil and gas assets worldwide,' Srinivasan clarified." It seems to me that China is wanting to avoid price wars but India is saying it is inevitable. |
