The Secret to Living Longer

Posted: 09 Oct 2010 09:00 AM PDT

Here's a clear secret to living longer and evidence to support it.

Get out of the house…and if possible, far away from home.

More than 50% of Beijingers died at home last year.

Of course, people spend more than 50% of their time at home, especially

when they are old.

The secret…if you see the death dude at the foot of your bed, get out of the house….NOW!

Cardiovascular disease was the number one killer in the city…cerebrovascular disease in the country.

It is often said that some 75% (or some other huge number) of accidents occur within 25 miles of home.

Let me see, don't people spend 75% of their lives within 25 miles of their home?

So…get out of the house and far away from home…then, you might live longer, no?

Japan Hinting at Staying Home from Beijing Games Because of Tibet Crackdown?

Posted: 09 Oct 2010 04:58 AM PDT

Are the Olympics going to stink of smell like politics?

China's crackdown in Tibet (by some reports, some 80 people have been killed)…is it going to affect the Olympics?

There are an awful lot of people in Hollywood, who most likely couldn't find Tibet on a map if it were the only country colored in red, that would like to see China called on the carpet for its treatment of the autonomous region.

Japan's Foreign Minister is urging China to make sure that nothing more happens in Tibet that could 'cause an impact on the Beijing Olympics.'

What kind of impact? Japan staying home maybe? Asking others to stay home?

How many people need to be killed by the Chinese government in a crackdown on protests in the area for the world to hear? to stay home?

Let's hope we don't have to find out.
