The Intelligence Agencies Played The Spoil Sport In Al-Qaeda Attacks

Posted: 06 Oct 2010 11:37 AM PDT

The British Intelligence Agencies smashed the well made plans of the al-Qaeda of attacking the European capitals. The sources claim that the terror group was about to start a rampage with arms and ammunitions in UK.

The sources also claim that they were almost done with their planning stage and were about to get active.

The organized attacks were going to be carried away by the Muslims living in Britain and who were getting their skills sharpened under the al-Qaeda there and the targeted countries were Britain, France and Germany.

The warnings regarding the attacks were being made though. In the last week, the French Police Chief, Frederic Pechenard had informed about the intelligence agencies warnings. He said, "Serious evidence are coming from reliable intelligence sources telling us that there is a risk of a major attack."

The intelligence agencies like MI6 and GCHQ are responsible for foiling the al-qaeda attacks.

The recent videotape containing the voice of the al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden conveys that the leader wants his people to work for famine, flood relief, the effects of climate change and clean water.

The videotape has no such thing that claims of further terrorism threats. But a small hint from the tape suggests the attacks that were supposed to take place in many of the European capitals were his orders.

According to the reports, one of the US officials informed that Laden, who is in touch with the al-Qaeda existing in Pakistan and abroad wants his links to go for more militant actions. Whereas, another sources informs that the al- Qaeda leader wants attacks to take place but nothing more related to it has been known so far.

The authenticity of the tape is yet not confirmed, further verifications regarding the matter will tell how much genuine is the tape and the voice of the al-Qaeda leader.

Faisal Shahzad, the man who attempted to bomb the Times Square in New York on May 01, this year has been sentenced life imprisonment. Shahzad is a Pakistani-American who preferred to leave America and go to Pakistan.

Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum kept on asking the accused, the reason for leaving America. She said, “You appear to be someone who was capable of education, and I do hope you will spend some of the time in prison thinking carefully about whether the Quran wants you to kill lots of people."

On which Shahzad replied, “Qur’an gives us the right to defend. And that’s all I’m doing. We are only Muslims … but if you call us terrorists, we are proud terrorists and we will keep on terrorizing you."
