You Fight Dirty!

Posted: 24 Oct 2010 10:45 AM PDT

ChinaB-WIPS, the official China Broadband Wireless Internet provider, is accusing the backers of the American system of "a lot of dirty tricks, including, deception, misinformation, confusion and reckless charging to lobby against WAPI, China’s own standard.

That’s outrageous! Especially since we know that China ALWAYS fights fair.

China wants to promote its own technology in an effort to reduce dependence on foreign technology and give its own companies an edge in their own marketplace.

Last year, China backed off an effort to make WAPI its mandatory national standard after the US government complained it would hamper access to the Chinese market.

Outvoted by ISO members 25-75, China replied "Phewey!" And insisted that it will firmly support the WAPI technology for domestic use.

China says WAPI is more secure than 802.1li, developed by Santa Clara-based INTEL .

Hey, now that’s too close to home. Intel is my neighbor!"

If you are thinking about doing business in China, you might have to pick a side.

It could get interesting….what do you think?

Begum Nawazish Ali evicted from Bigg Boss 4

Posted: 23 Oct 2010 11:45 PM PDT

Begum Nawazish Ali aka Ali Saleem, a Pakistani artist who was among the 13 participants of the Bigg Boss 4 house has been evicted yesterday from the house.

Along with Ali there was another Pakistani controversial figure in the house, Veena Mallik, who still remains in the house/show. These are the two figures against whom the Indian political party has been pretesting. The party was and is against the Pakistanis participating in the Indian show.

The other two participants who were nominated by the members of the house for this week's eviction were Veena Mallik and Indian television actress Shweta Tiwari. Amongst all, Begum received fewer votes.

Before leaving the Bigg Boss house, the evicted person has to nominate a name for next week's eviction, Begum nominated the Great Khali's name and reasoned out that since he was new in the house, she could spend very less time with the wrestler to know him.

Returning Chinese Want to Live in Beijng

Posted: 23 Oct 2010 10:41 PM PDT

When overseas Chinese returning to the mainland were asked where they wanted to live…80% said Beijing. More than 50% said Beijing or nothing.

Just 20% opted for Shanghai.

Other choice cities included Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Xi'an.

The sectors most in need of Chinese returning from overseas are:

1. finance

2. trade

3. culture

4. education

5. media

By the end of 2006 more than one million Chinese had studied overseas with just 26% of them returning. However, last year the number that returned

was 42,000, UP 21% from 2005.

I wonder if China is still the hotbed for jobs for returning Chinese that it was a year or more ago. Or are all the good jobs taken?

Susan Boyle stunned Britain’s Got Talent audiences and already more than 25 million youtube watchers and growing.

The last person to create this much buzz from BGT, was Paul Potts.

Moved to tears by both of them…again and again.

God doesn’t make junk. Shame on me for looking at someone and thinking otherwise.
