The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) online registration has already begun from today that is November 23, 2010. The students, who are expected to appear for the entrance exam to be held next year should register themselves at the earliest.
The online application form can be filled at the official website of the AIEEE, the link for which has been provided below. The AIEEE 2011 will be conducted in two parts- Online and written. The exam committee has announced that only one lakh students are eligible to sit for this exam and that completely depends on the first come and first serve basis. The earlier the students register themselves the better are their chances to be able to sit for the AIEEE exam. Although the last date of registration is January 14, 2011 but the students are advised to not wait till the last moment, or else they might lose the golden opportunity. The students have the option to pay the registration fees either by DD (Demand Draft) or by Credit Card. |

The Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar has published the timetable or the exam schedule of the exam to be conducted in the month of December. The students, who would be appearing for the exam next month, should check the date sheet of the exam on the official website of the PTU.

On the heels of a new record IPO by the Bank of China on May 23, China Mobile said it is looking to make an overseas purchase. China Mobile wants to buy Millicom International Cellular. MIC has a HUGE subscriber base all across Latin America, Africa and Asia. Gosh, I can call my friends in Rio, Cape Town and Beijing all on the same network, if that goes through. If the $5.3 billion deal goes through it will set the record for an overseas takeover by a Chinese company…and we all know, that records are meant to be broken. As China grows and its major players get bigger, stronger = richer, I am sure there will be even more and bigger takeovers. What do you think? What’s the next biggest deal? |

Lucas Anthony Tang fell 50 feet from a VIP booth onto a concrete walk at the Staples Center. The 2-year old (3 in January) somehow climbed on a ledge and fell. His parents took some pictures and took a moment to review them together right after the Lakers defeated the Warriors 117 to 89. That was all it took for the toddler to crawl away from the view of the parents. When there was an announcement that a child had fallen, the parents realized that the fallen child belonged to them. Left Coast Rebel reported: Lucas Anthony Tang would have turned 3 in January. Also, parents had lost sight of their child and were in the process of looking for him when the incident occurred [sic]. JERRYBRYCE'S Blog tells us: By all accounts, it appears to be a tragic accident. Little kids, especially two-year-olds are very active, and easy to get lost in a crowd, if you do not have a hold of them at all times. lalate says: LucasAnthonyTang, 2, fell to his death Sunday. Lucas Anthony Tang's death is prompting an LAPD investigation; Tang died after falling 50 feet from a VIP suite at the Staples Center. Lucas was pronounced dead soon after he arrived at the hospital. The parents' names were not released by the police. There were reports that the Los Angeles Police Department's child abuse squad was also investigating the accident. The police department clarified this report by stating all accidents involving young children also involve the Juvenile Department. The parents are not being considered for any type of child endangerment. The LA Lakers were hosting the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center where the Tangs were watching from the luxury box. A spokesperson for the company that runs the Staples Center issued a statement: "Our condolences and prayers go to the Tang family. We are working with the Los Angeles Police Department on the investigation of this tragedy." The players themselves were also shocked that something like this could happen and many conveyed their sadness for the family. |

Jason Baptiste Hamilton was arrested at a hospital shortly after he went to a hospital for treatment of a bipolar disorder. Someone identified Jason after seeing a public service announcement and called police. Jason surrendered to police without a fight when the officers showed up. Hamilton will eventually be charged with second degree murder which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Amy Hamilton said her son, Jason went to the hospital to get checked out. Topix reports: On Saturday morning, hours after being named the lead suspect in the murder of New Orleans “dis” artist Messy Mya , Jason Baptiste Hamilton visited West Jefferson Medical Center to receive treatment for what his mother said is bipolar disorder. NOLA reports: Hamilton surrendered without incident after deputies showed up. He was booked as a fugitive into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna, where he will remain until he is transferred to Orleans Parish and booked with second-degree murder, which carries a punishment of life in prison. Urban Orleans tells us: The NOPD announced that it had identified Hamilton as Barre's alleged killer and had obtained a warrant for his arrest on Friday evening. Jason Hamilton had recently been using the prescription drug Risperdal, which is an anti-psychotic drug. Considering the use of this drug the defense may try to use that to explain the murder was just a side-effect of the drug when he stopped taking it. During their investigation police Detective Burns got a positive id and lead that Hamilton was the alleged murderer of Messy Mya whose real name was Anthony M. Barre. Messy Mya is survived by his parents, a girlfriend and an unborn child that will only know their father through pictures and YouTube videos. |

Nearly two thirds of opinion leaders in America and almost 60% of the general public in America think that the relationship with China is improving. What is the number reason why it is improving? Number 3 – There was a change in leadership focus and global pressure requires an improvement….8% think. Number 2 – Communications are better between the two countries. 11% thought this the reason. Number 1 – China business and market based economy…with a whopping 58% thinking this is why we suddenly get along. Hmmm….So, we get along because we can make money off one another, right? There’s an old adage in America – never do business with friends or family. So, what does that make China? They are definitely not family.
