A Beautiful Girl – Wisdom from the Good Book

Posted: 07 Nov 2010 07:28 PM PST

God is not concerned with the outward appearance of a man or woman. Still, we find the description of Rebekah – "and the girl was very beautiful…"

To be sure, there is beauty and there is not. Even the writer Genesis acknowledged that.

I know which side of the ugly fence I fall on. I know that many people do not recognize where they stand. I see them, hear them too, at the gym everyday.

Beauty is not always skin deep. Sometimes it is a characteristic of the outside AND the inside.

March 13, 07 – Chundit

Chundit….a short post to get you thinking about China.  Updated throughout the day, I hope.

Thousands of Chinese farmers and laid-off workers rioted in central China, attacking police and smashing squad cars…. No one in the Chinese government will be happy about the country's new found free speech, if this can be confirmed.   11:13 am

Chinese doctor surely not making any friends with government officials by exposing negligence on AIDS issue.                          12:01 pm

China's central bank governor thinks boosting domestic demand is key to balancing the trade deficit. I think the key is for countries outside of China to produce something China wants? What do you think?                   2:23 pm

Trade surplus in February….10X … February of last year.      4:38 pm

The top complaint in China…counterfeit products. Yup, the rest of us don't like that either.                7:04 pm

Chinese Get Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones!

Posted: 07 Nov 2010 07:25 AM PST

It's just a matter of time before at least one Chinese person does get the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones.

76-year old Rupert Murdoch ponied up $5.6 billion to for these two American icons today. But, let's face it, how long will the soon to be octogenarian get to enjoy his new toys?

His wife, however, is 40-year old Shandong, China born Wendi Deng Murdoch.

Deng took the tabloid route to become Murdoch's wife and perhaps take over his huge empire which includes Times in London, Fox Television, the New York Post,wendi.deng.jpg and MySpace.com to name a few.

It is alleged she came to the US as a student, broke up the marriage of the host family that sponsored her, then cheated on her new husband of two years, was thrown out before finally ending up with Murdoch nine years ago. They have two children together.

In the midst of all the drama Deng received an MBA from Yale University and "is a director and chief strategist for the holding company that licences the MySpace brand and technology to MySpace China." Before that she was a Vice President of News Corporation's STAR TV in Hong Kong.

Now she is just a few years away from becoming the top dog of her husband's amazing empire.

Even the tabloids can't make up this kind of a story.

With time closing in, building of pressure is inevitable. Please don’t get nervous. Nervousness will affect
your performance. You have so far done your best, now is the time to calmly revise. At any perceptible sign
of anxiety, breathe deeply ten to twelve times and feel relaxed. Ensure good sleep for at least 6 hours. Take
a brisk walk for at least 20 to 30 minutes, preferably in the morning when you get good fresh air. Your brain
cells need oxygen. Feed it.
