Singer and the winner of a reality show, Abhijeet Sawant and a participant of a show, Singer Prajakta Shukre, were beaten up by an angry crowd in Mumbai on Tuesday. Sources say that, Prajakta Shukre, who was driving her car had banged a scooter, which injured two teenagers.

Tohil Khan aged 19, who was driving the scooter and his brother Taufiq Khan aged 14, were seriously injured in the incident. According to the police, Prajakta and Abhijeet along with few of their friends were racing on the roads, when Prajakta lost the control of her car and dashed the scooter.

People who had witnessed the incident had immediately gathered on the spot and started to assault abhijeet and his friends, who were trying to pacify the crowd. The singers were apparently taken into custody by the police and were taken to the Santacruz police station.

The police booked Prajakta for negligent and rash driving. However she was later released on bail in lieu of Rs 3000.

Wikileaks Indian officials remain calm on the issue

After a major setback received by the United States administration, due to the Wikileaks disclosures recently, the Indian Government seems to be not much bothered about the matter. However the officials have been showing concerns for the state Departments, whose private assessments have been exposed to the public domain.

When spoken to the Indian External Affairs minister S M Krishna he said, "India's government is not really concerned but we certainly are interested in finding out what this WikiLeaks are all about." According to sources, the leaks have annoyed the former diplomats as well as the senior officials of the government.

The New Delhi officials, according to sources, are surprised by the poor security arrangements for the communications of such vital information, that Washington has made. A former diplomat has also said that even if there is something in the matter that has to be criticized, then why one has to comment on the issue and make a big fuss about it.

The comment came after Pakistan had made some bizarre comments on the issue.

Jaganmohan Reddy aims to be chief minister of Andra Pradesh in 2014

Jaganmohan Reddy, after quitting Congress had announced, that he will form a new party. However, it seems like it may take some time to form the new party.

Meanwhile, the former Congress MP will be continuing with his 'Odarpu Yatra' and will also take some time to consult along with his supporters, regarding the formation of the party. According to a meeting held by Jaganmohan along with his supporters in Idupulpaya, the party is said to launch within a couple of months.

Jaganmohan in the meeting also said that he aims to become the chief minister of Andra Pradesh by the 2014 elections. He also said that, though he had taken the decision to quit Congress in a fit of emotion, he does not have any regrets for his decision.

According to Jagan's observations, Jagan's uncle Vivekananda Reddy, was offered a place in the cabinet. After which Jagan had advised him not to fall for the offer and follow the family decision of YSR. However sources say that, Vivekananda had not co operated with Jaganmohan.

Ron Isley honored at the Soul Train Music Awards 2010

The 2010 Soul Train Music Awards paid tribute to the American legendary singer Ron Isley. It was like magic created on stage, when the new generation artists started to sing some of Ron's hits, which reminded of the olden days.

Some of the artists like the Jeffrey Osborne, Keyshia Cole, Eric Bennet, El Debarge, Freddie Jackson and Peabo Jackson had ruled the stage, while the crowd grooved to their tunes. Steve Harvey then brought Mr. Isley on the stage where he performed 'Between the sheets'. R Kelly later joined him on stage for another performance.

Ronald Isley was among six brothers in his family, and were popularly known as 'The Isley Brothers'. Isley started singing at the age of 3, and used to sing in the church. He started to sing on stage at the age of seven.
