Imagine TV is all set to make a New Year resolution for 2011, by changing its look as well as its name to 'Imagine Parivaar' (Imagine Family). The channel with the new title will be telecasted on 31st of December.

The persons who represent the various shows of the channel will be seen on the stage to welcome the New decade. The occasion will witness the lead actors of the shows on the channel, dance to the various hits. The event will be shot on the 24th and the 25th of December which will be telecasted on the New Years Eve.

Sources have said that, Rakhi Sawant after her appearance on the reality shows 'Swayamwar' and 'Pati Patni Aur Who' , will also be performing for the event. Currently Rakhi Sawant is appearing on the reality show 'Rakhi Ka Insaaf'. Also actor Ashish Sharma of the channel's show 'Gunaho Ka Devta' will be performing for the event.

Gujjar agitation under control after four days of constant protests

After some brief violent protests by the Gujjar community in Jaipur the situation according to the police is now under control. The Gujjars had protested for four days, demanding for a five percent reservation.

The protestors had blocked the railway tracks on the Delhi-Mumbai route. Vehicular traffic was also disrupted after some youths had misbehaved with the journalists near the Pilukapura area. The journalists had later left the site of protest at Bayana.

According to the police, the protestors had blocked the railway route under the leadership of Kirori Singh Bainsla. However the Gujjar leader Roop Singh had regretted for the incident that had happened and said that certain anti-social elements were responsible for the act and were being identified.

“Our agitation is completely peaceful and we are not the part of any violence. We will leave the dharna site if any violent activity is done again,” Singh said. The traffic at the Jaipur-Delhi and Jaipiur-Agra highway is back to normal.

Pakistan lose to Auckland in first game of New Zealand series

Pakistan’s first warm-up game against the New Zealand’s first class side Auckland ended in a crushing loss for the visitors. Auckland won by five wickets and with 40 balls to spare.

Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 91 in 17 odd overs. There was an innings of 25 from Umar Akmal and scores of 16, 18 and 19 from three of the other batsmen but with no-one to bat through the innings, the Pakistanis were bowled out rather tamely.

Michael Bates scalped a four-wicket haul while Roneel Hira took a couple of wickets.

In reply, Auckland did lose five wickets to begin with, but the innings of an unbeaten 28 by Martin Guptill and 17 extras from the Pakistani bowlers allowed the home team to get away with a win.

The first T20I between New Zealand and Pakistan will be played on December 26 at Auckland.

HBSE 10th result 2010 announced at hbse.nic, Bhiwani Haryana Board of school education results

HBSE 10th class results have been announced by the Haryana board of Secondary Education today. The results of Sr Secondary (12th Class) exams will be published on 3rd January, 2011.

Due to heavy load the official website is not responding at the moment. Students can try after some time.

The results can be checked at http://web1.hry.nic.in/hbsemarksheet/hbsehry/hbseresult10.asp.

Insert your 10 digit Roll number to get the results.

The exams for Secondary and Sr secondary were conducted in October 2010. The results for the Mid  examinations also has been announced. Students can check the results here

All the affiliate schools can collect the results respectively  from the office of concerned District Education Officer of HBSE from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 23 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 24, 2010.

The Bhiwani Board has many educational institutes affiliated to it.

The PV Narasimha Rao Expressway a 11.633 kilometre long corridor on National Highway 7, built to get connected to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad is going to be inaugurated on Monday , 19th Oct 2009.

Andhra Chief Minister Rosaiah will inaugurate the expressway.

The Hyderabad police have imposed traffic restrictions between 4 pm to 6 pm  for the inauguration of the Expressway.

The Police also said that buses, two-wheelers, maxi cabs, tractors, tillers, auto rickshaws, animal driven carts, rickshaws,Lorries , cyclists and pedestrians , trucks of all kinds will not be allowed.

There are 80 some young people, aged 14-18-years old who are in therapy for their addiction to the Internet at the General Hospital of the Beijing Military Area Command of the Chinese PLA.

Almost one in four (23%) of them have been married …online.

One Romeo or is it Casanova, has been hitched more than 100 times…so much so that now he says he is afraid of real marriage.

Another case is an 18-year old boy who met his 'wife' and fell in love while playing a group computer game. He then travelled to her city and they began dating…and got married, online.

He said it was a 'real marriage' to him. But the girl's parents disapproved. I wonder why…and they got divorced…online, of course.

One of the doctors says, "An online marriage could mislead them as to the real meaning of marriage."

Skype was down due to technical issues

Skype reported a major service down for millions of users. Skype users tweeted a lot about unsuccessful login. Initially, Skype engineers weren't sure what the problem was and requested users to monitor @Skype on Twitter for updates.

According to Om Malik,"Sorry, not good enough! Skype is one of the key applications of the modern web. It is already a hit with consumers, and over past few years it has become part of the economic fabric for startups and small businesses around the world. I am not sure we can comprehend the productivity cost of this outage".

Skype is an important communications tool for a lot of people. For many, it gets more use than their actual phones. While many users aren't paying, they were still adversely affected by the outage. The problem this time is big and caused a lot of pain for its users.

According to Skype, the outage was due to some of their "supernodes" being unavailable because "many of them were taken offline by a problem affecting some versions of Skype." Skype works as a distributed network, this is why some users had no problems and others were unable to login. Key pieces of the network failed, effectively blocking users across the globe. Skype says that their engineers are frantically creating new "mega-supernodes" which should resolve the problem, but many users are still experiencing difficulties at this time.
