Real Kamasutra.pps.exe a new virus in the town

A new virus that has recently hit the computers is the Kama Sutra virus. A similar virus had hit in the year 2006. The Kama Sutra virus makes it way through a power point presentation named Real kamasutra.pps.exe.

The virus starts working as the user views the presentation. While the user enjoys the presentation a Trojan named “Troj/Bckdr-RFM” starts infecting the files in the PC.

The bad news is, once the virus enters the computer then it is very difficult to get rid of it. The Kama Sutra virus is actually a path for the hackers to enter the computers and capture its identity.

However one can take precautions by keeping their anti virus database updated and scan the PC every now and then. Or if one has been infected by the virus already, then the user must first update the anti virus data and then run a full scan. After the scan, the results must show the Kama Sutra Virus, if the PC is infected with it. It is time for those who do not have an anti virus, to get one at the earliest and protect the computer from the virus.

As the song goes "The times, they are a changing" and they are, especially the Zodiac with the addition of Ophiuchus, November 11 to December 17 and the Blogosphere is all a-twitter with this “discovery.”

The original signs of the Zodiac, created around 3,000 years ago, at least that what everyone assumes.  There were actually 13 signs and the Babylonians discarded Ophiuchus to make an even 12.

The Sun tracks across the sky and covers the signs of the Zodiac, and the planets track with the Sun.

Does anyone know why we are just finding about this sign now?

Watch the video.

An astronomy professor at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Parke Kunkle, explains Ophiuchus as the gap between the astrological and the astronomical view due to the the wobble of the Earth, also called “procession”.

Michelle Lamar of famecrawler has the 2011 new zodiac signs:

Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16.

Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11.

Pisces: March 11-April 18.

Aries: April 18-May 13.

Taurus: May 13-June 21.

Gemini: June 21-July 20.

Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10.

Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16.

Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30.

Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23.

Scorpio: Nov. 23-29.

Ophiuchus:* Nov. 29-Dec. 17.

Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20.

The Daily Post reports: The 13th zodiac sign Ophiuchus was believed to have been discarded by the Babylonians because they wanted 12 signs per year!

Ophiuchus is often referred to as the "secret Zodiac Sign."

He is now a Taurus.  Oh well, many people just look at astrology as a bunch of Taurus anyway.

Jay Chou plays Bruce Lee’s role of “Kato” in Green Hornet

Posted: 14 Jan 2011 01:40 PM PST

Taiwan pop-star Jay Chou as "Kato" in the Green Hornet.

Jay Chou, one Taiwan’s most famous pop singer and producers added a Hollywood film role to his resume.  He played “Kato” in the movie “The Green Hornet”.    Bruce Lee played this role in the 1960s TV show by the same name.

“The Green Hornet” is based on an American comic book series with the same name.   In the 1960s the  TV program ran on ABC the same season as  “Batman”.

Chou  joined Seth Rogen, and Cameron Diaz on the red carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood for premiere of “The Green Hornet” late Thursday night.

Rogen plays the role of Britt Reid, a rich, spoiled party animal whose father is Los Angeles’ most prominent media mogul.   It takes the mysterious death of Reid’s father to get him to grow up and do something positive with his life.

Reid makes use of the fortune inherited from his father, and the expertise of his father’s valued and resourceful employee, Kato.

An interesting facet to this story is that Kato is the real hero and Reid ambles along.

“The Green Hornet” is Jay Chou’s first American film, something which the producers of the film hope to capitalize on in Asian markets.

In the TV series, Bruce Lee played Kato and catapulted him to fame.   Filling Lee’s shoes is certainly a challenge  for Chou, but Chou’s resume as an entertainer shows he’s up to the task.

Public outcry gets Chinese toll evader a new trial

Posted: 14 Jan 2011 08:30 AM PST

Henan province, where the charges against Shi Jianfeng took place for evading highway tolls.

Public outcry against the life sentence pronounced against a Chinese farmer for evading highway tolls has resulted in a new trial.

The toll evader, Shi Jianfeng, of Henan Province was also fined 2 million yuan on top of his life sentence.   The draconian sentence  created a  firestorm in the media and among Chinese netizens who said the life sentence did not match the crime for a man just trying to make ends meet.

On Tinya, a popular Chinese message board one person said, ”Rape and murder will earn you 15 years in prison but evading road charges will get you life”.

Over nine months in 2008 and 2009,  Shi’s two trucks made about 2,400 trips delivering sand and gravel.  He evaded  paying highway tolls by making fake military license plates,  giving him a free-pass to travel toll-free.

When Shi was caught he ended up with a life sentence in prison and then the uproar.

Because public opposition to the ruling was so strong the Intermediate People’s Court in the city of Pingdingshan held a news conference this week to defend its decision.

However, the court  said that the retrial will take place because Shi had accomplices.
