With the Cricket World Cup 2011 just round the corner, a wall at the Chennai's (India) Chepauk cricket stadium collapsed on Wednesday. The stadium is scheduled to host the India VS West Indies match on 20th March.

According to sources, two people have been injured due to the wall collapse. The incident happened when, people rushed to buy the tickets for the match at the counter.

The injured were immediately taken to the nearest hospital and are currently going through treatment. Apart from the India VS West Indies match, three more World Cup matches are scheduled at the stadium.

The incident has put a question mark on the responsibility to host the World Cup in the country. Recently, the Eden Garden in Kolkata was declared unfit, for a match between India and England. However, questions have also been raised, on the preparation of the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, which has to host the final match of the World Cup 2011.

Gujarat Police Bharti 2011 recruitment results announced

Police Bharti Gujarat have announced the results for the 2010-2011 recruitment examinations. The recruitment test results for the SRP-Lokrakshak Dal, Armed PSI, Unarmed Psi, Jail Sipahi and Intelligence officer have been officially declared.

Reports say that candidates can access their results from the official website at www.police.gujarat.gov.in. The decision on the police recruitments have been taken by the Gujarat Police Recruitment Board.

Candidates who had appeared for the recruitment examinations, can check the websites for downloading the results.

The headquarters of the Gujarat Police is situated in the state capital Gandhinagar. The hall tickets of the recruitment examinations were available online for the candidates appearing for the exams.

The Gujarat police is the law enforcement body of the state of Gujarat and works for the security of the citizens. The body came in to existence after the state of Gujarat was separated from Greater Mumbai state in the year 1960. The Gujarat police was the first state police, which had helped to solve the mystery of the serial bomb blasts in 2007-08.

Debina Banerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary to tie the knot in Feb

TV actors Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Banerjee, who have been together for years, have finally decided to get married. Gurmeet and Debina have worked together while playing the role of Ram and Sita in the mythological series 'Ramayana'.

Debina confirmed the news about their marriage, which would be held in the month of February. After returning from Argentina for the shoot of the reality show 'Zor Ka Jhatka', the actress had been to Goa along with her love Gurmeet.

The couple, while on holiday, decided to tie the knot as soon as possible. Regarding marriage, the couple seems to have some experience, when they both featured on the reality show 'Pati Patni Aur Who' and had to take care of children of different age groups.

While doing the reality show 'Pati Patni Aur Who', Gurmeet had proposed Debina on national television and had also taken official permission from Debina's parents. Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Banerjee are yet to disclose the dates of the wedding.
