The results of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) for December 2010 will soon be declared. The ICWAI is a professional accountancy body which was established in 1959. The body was enacted by the Parliament of India under the Cost and Works Accountants Act.
Candidates can access their respective results from the official website at http://www.icwai.org/icwai/index.asp In the year 1944, the ICWAI began as a limited company. The body aims to promote and develop the scientific methods for cost and management accountancy. In 2009, the ICWAI launched a Certificate Course in Accounting Technicians (CAT). The CAT is a one year course and aims to develop the skills of accounting and as well as the practical situations of accounting. It comprises two levels and the person pursuing the certificate has to clear both the examinations to obtain the certificate. The course also consists practical training, computer training, orientation training programs and examinations. |

The results of the Undergraduate Degree Examination for the year 2010, were declared by the University of Madras, on the 31st of January 2011. The examination was held in the month of November 2010.
The Madras University results are published online and is available at the official website. Candidates searching for their results, can also access it from The University of Madras was established on 5th September, 1857 under the Act of the Legislative Council of India. It is located in the state of Tamil Nadu, in the capital Chennai, which was previously known as Madras. The University has four campuses which are located in Marina, Guindy, Chepauk and Taramani. The campus has more than 50 departments, which offers specialization courses for the students. The Mangalore- based Karnataka Bank has called for applications for Scale 1 officers for the 2011 recruitment. The selection process will include a written test and a personal interview.
Admission cards for the written test will be distributed by the bank shortly after the applications are received. Eligibility: A postgraduate of any discipline can apply. A graduate in agriculture sciences may also apply.The candidate must be below the age of 30. Candidates interested in applying have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250. and Rs 150 in case of SC/ST candidates. Application fees must be paid in the form of DD in favor of 'Karnataka Bank Limited'.
