Supermoon live on March 19 – Lunar perigee can trigger earthquake Posted: 17 Mar 2011 08:34 AM PDT After 18 years, moon will come closest to earth and this phenomenon is called Super Moon or sometimes called as Lunar Perigee. On 19th march 2011, this extreme Supermoon will occur and people are assuming that this could have been the reason of natural disaster that occurred in Japan. On this day, our natural satellite moon will be only 221,567 miles away from earth and the average distance between the Earth and the moon is about 238.000 miles. Famous astrologer Richard Nolle has linked this natural phenomenon of Supermoon with natural disaster like earthquake, powerful storms and volcanoes. But many scientists deny that – japan calamity is not a resultant of this occurrence, and they claim that this isn;t a science and not true. But one can deny that Supermoons in 1955, 1974, 1992 and 2005 were associated with some of the extreme weather conditions. Any ways, Supermoon will go live on 19th, lets see what should we await of after this. Anyways dont miss this awesome nature treat on that day.
