Indian Overseas Bank has invited online applications for the recruitment of 1,100 vacant clerk posts across the country. Interested candidates can apply online from 4th March 2011, by logging in to the official website of the bank at http://www.iob.in/.

The last date for applying for the posts is 25th March 2011. The list of the number of vacant posts according to the states is mentioned below.

PGIMS Rohtak entrance exam results announced

The results of the entrance examination of the MD/M.Ch/MS/MDS/PG Diploma and DM courses for the academic year of 2011 have been declared by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. The institute has declared the results according to the combined merit list – HCMS merit list – open merit list and roll number wise merit list.

The entrance examination was conducted by the institute on 2nd March 2011. Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences is an exclusive post graduate institute located in Rohtak in the state of Haryana, India.

Various courses in major specialties and super specialties are provided by the institute. Specialized heath care is provided by the institute for the people in the state of Haryana as well as Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and western UP.

The PGIMS was established in the year 1960 and was then known as Medical College Rohtak. Initially the students were enrolled in the Government Medical College, Patiala, who were later shifted in the year 1963.
