Dongala Muta review, a perfect disappointment Posted: 18 Mar 2011 04:33 AM PDT Director Ram Gopal Varma, has this time proved, with his latest movie that all his directive skills have exhausted. Telugu movie 'Dongala Muta', is one of his tragic ventures, which has the most lowest budget in the Indian film industry. The movie was shot in just five days and was shot with Canon 5D cameras. The story is about a husband and wife, whose car breaks down at a deserted place, where there is nothing but a resort. When they fail to find a mechanic, the couple then decides to stay in the resort. This is when they find out that they have been trapped in the resort and how the two fight their way out. This is definitely not the kind of movie enjoyed by the audience. With a defective script, Ramu has made a ninety minute movie, by fooling the audience with an effective cast. However, the director must be appreciated to make a movie in such a tight budget and less time. Unfortunately, there is nothing interesting for the audience that can be termed as entertainment. The scenes and dialogues in the movie are repetitive and irritating. Even the back ground music in the movie is terrible. Over all, a perfect disappointing recipe blended by Ram Gopal Varma. |
