Indian judge outsources verdicts Posted: 05 Apr 2011 09:05 AM PDT One must have heard about manufacturing products through an out source. But out sourcing verdicts by a judge is something one can hardly imagine and bizarre. A similar case was observed in Jharkhand in India, where a judge was expelled for outsourcing the writing of the judgments that came his way. Ajit Kumar, a subordinate judge in Garhwa was ordered to be expelled by the Supreme Court. Kumar had filed an appeal in the apex court that he was dismissed from his post, without any compulsory inquiry in to the matter. The judges who were hearing the case, Justices Anil Dave and Mukundakam Sharma, had stated that there wasn't any requirement to hold any inquiry before ordering the dismissal of the judge. The bench hearing the case had found that Kumar's judgment was unique. The chief justice of the High Court had said, "Kumar did not prepare the judgment on his own. He got them prepared from someone else before he delivered the judgment of the case." The matter was then referred to the full court looking at the intensity of the matter. Later, the full court had held that Kumar's case did not need any inquiry and that the judgment to expel him from his service was fair enough. |
Hot VJ Bani and Shahid Kapoor’s day out in restaurant Posted: 05 Apr 2011 05:49 AM PDT Shahid Kapoor may have gone through many ups and downs in terms of relationships. After a heart aching break up with actress Kareena Kapoor, Shahid even failed to maintain relations with Priyanka Chopra. Seems like the actor is now fed up and trying to make new friends in showbiz. Shahid was lately seen with TV anchor VJ Bani in a restaurant in Mumbai, India. Not many were aware that Shahid and Bani went to the same gym and often worked out together. On asking Bani she said that she often met him at the gym and that day, since the two felt hungry, they decided to have a meal together. However, the two were not alone, as Shahid was accompanied by a male friend. According to an eye witness, the three had a great time together, cracking jokes and chatting over a meal and a few drinks. Hope Priyanka isn't that possessive about Shahid. The three indeed looked as if friends for life, when together in a Bandra restaurant situated at the heart of Mumbai City. For Bani, it must have been just another day with Shahid, but for the rest of the world it seemed like there was something fishy going between the two. Who knows Shahid may in future develop some soft corner for the VJ. |
