Hanuman Jayanti is an Indian festival, celebrated by Hindus and is observed as the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman. The festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the month of Chaitra, according to the Hindu calendar.

Hanuman, a disciple of Lord Ram, is known for strength and energy. Disciples of Hanuman believe that he has immense powers to move the mountains, seize the clouds and even fly in the air.
