JEECUP announces Polytechnic entrance exam 2011 results

The results of the UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination for the year 2011, has been announced by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP). The Polytechnic entrance examination is conducted every year in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The council conducts the examination for recruitment in to the various polytechnic institutes across the state. The JEECUP has this year reduced the eligibility percentage for appearing in the examination. Students who are looking for their results can visit the official website at http://www.jeecup.org/results/index.asp. The candidates have to enter their roll number in the given box and have to click on the 'submit' button.

Now the students, who have acquired at least 35% marks in the SSC (10th class) examination can be allowed to appear in the UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination. The eligibility decision was taken by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) last week.

Earlier, the eligibility criteria was to acquire at least 50% marks in the SSC examination. Due to which many seats had went vacant.

Bundelkhand University CPMT results 2011 announced

Bundelkhand University of Jhansi, has announced the results of the Combined Pre-Medical Test (CPMT) for the year 2011 on Wednesday. At least 50% of the students who had appeared for the examination have acquired minimum passing marks.

More than 30,000 students, who have qualified the examination are aiming for the 1,600 medical seats as well as the AYUSH seats in the state funded colleges. The vice chancellor of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, SVS Rana has said that Harshit Agarawal has topped the test this year.

Agarwal has secured 169 out of 200 marks. While the second position, was secured by Shailesh Singh who got 165 marks. The other students, who have managed to get in to the top 10 list are Sarthak Sharma, Anubhav Pal, Ankit Kumar, Mohd Saalis Pervez, who all have secured 162 marks.

Students, who are looking for the results can check at the official website at http://www.bujhansi.org. The candidates are requested to maintain patience, as the official website may take some time to respond.
