AIIMS doctor re-instation, boy’s father to file case against IO

After the controversial doctor at the AIIMS was reinstated by the authorities on the demand of the resident doctors, the child's father has said that he would file a complaint against the Investigating Officer for biased investigations. Dr Shejoy Joshua was reinstated, after he was fired for charges of molesting a seven year old child under his treatment.

The lawyer of the child's family, Satish Sharma has said that the AIIMS has reinstated the doctor only on the basis of the preliminary investigations. Sharma added that they are filing a complaint against the Investigating Officer.

On 13th March, the family of the boy had moved to the metropolitan magistrate court in Saket, while they had alleged irregularities in the investigations. But the case was dismissed as the statement of the boy was already recorded before the station house officer Hauz Khas.

The seven year old boy was taking treatment under Dr. Joshua for neuro problems. The boy's father is now determined to file a case alleging that how the doctor was reinstated before the closure of the report.

Indian rupee symbol to be incorporated in keyboards by Jan 2012

After a year that has passed, when the Indian currency had got a global recognition with the Indian rupee sign, it will now be adopted in the Keyboards. From January 2012, the keyboards will be having the Indian rupee sign in the same row where the numerical are found along with the dollar sign.

Additional secretary, from the department of information technology, N Ravi Shankar has said that the symbol has been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards and will be on the keyboards by the month of January next year. Apart from the convenience of the users, the opportunity will also be fruitful for the hardware manufacturers.

A huge sale of the updated keyboard is expected, as many of the companies would like to have their keyboards replaced for the new ones. The acting executive director of the Manufacturer's Association of Information Technology (MAIT), Anwar Shirpurwala has said that there is a huge market of the keyboard manufacturers due to the incorporation of the rupee symbol in the keyboards.

Even software giant Microsoft has developed software so as to access the rupee symbol. Moreover, the upgraded operating systems can also access the rupee symbol by pressing Alt Gr + 4.
