The results of the B.Ed entrance examination for the year 2011 have been announced by the MJP Rohilkhand University. The students looking for the results can check their results at the official website of the university.

The University has announced the date of counseling as 14th July 2011. To check the results, the students have to click here.

Looking at the growing demand of the teachers in the state of Rajasthan, the government has decided to give admissions to all the candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination. After the list of all the B.Ed colleges of the state affiliated to the different universities, are announced, the counseling session and preparation of merit and category list of the candidates will take place.

The fresh move by the government will help in filling the vacant seats in the state's B.Ed colleges. Last year it was reported that despite three rounds of counseling, 12,000 seats had gone vacant.

Telangana shut down disrupts normal life

Once again the Telangana region in the state of Andhra Pradesh had faced a closure (bandh) on Tuesday. A 48 hour shutdown has been called in as more resignations from the Congress party continue to put pressure on the high command.

Due to the closure the normal life in the city of Hyderabad was disrupted. Moreover, 10 districts of the Telangana district had called off the public transport system.

Even the shops, business establishments, shopping malls and cinemas had remained closed due to the unrest in the city. In Hyderabad, the roads had a deserted look while the shops remained closed in the day time.

Some violence was reported in the popular Osmania University and a private bus too was set ablaze by the miscreants in LB Nagar. The resignation process started from TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, who represents the Mahabubnagar constituency and had faxed his resignation at mid night to the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. Later Medak Vijayshanti too had faxed her resignation letter to the speaker at 9 am.

Anna University B.E. and B.Tech results 2011 announced

The results of the undergraduate courses of B.E. and B.Tech examinations have been declared by the Anna University Chennai on 4th July 2011. The students, who are looking for the results can check the official website.

The candidates who have appeared  for the exams can click here for the results at the official website. The examinations were conducted in the month of April and May 2011.

The students are requested to maintain patience while accessing the results as the official website may not respond immediately due to heavy web traffic.

The Anna University is a technical university in the state of Tamil Nadu, which was established in the year 1978.

In the earlier stages, it was a unitary university with four technical institutions in Chennai. The Anna University was earlier known as Perarignar Anna University of Technology. Later in the year 1982 the university adopted its current name. In the year 2001, the Anna University was converted in to an autonomous University, with several engineering colleges affiliated under it.
