‘Zindagi Mile Na Dobara’ stars perform LIVE for Delhites

Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol promoted their upcoming flick 'Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara' in Gurgaon on Sunday. The stars along with director Zoya Akhtar were in Delhi and performed at a LIVE concert powered by Mountain Dew at Ambience mall in Gurgaon.
Speaking on the occasion, Farhan Akhtar, actor and the film's producer (Excel Entertainment) said, "Very rarely you find a perfect fit between what a film is trying to say and the brand associated. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara's collaboration with Mountain Dew is one such fine example. Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai is a philosophy that the film's characters believe in and we are delighted to be associated with the brand as facing our fears is an integral part of the journey".

Aishwarya Rai postpones her award ceremony to mourn for Mumbai blasts

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was present along with her husband Abhishek Bachchan at the ceremony on Wednesday to receive an honor from the French government. However, midway through the ceremony came the heart breaking news of Mumbai blasts that left at least 21 people dead and over 100 injured. As a true Indian, Aishwarya requested the officials to postpone the ceremony for the moment and she also maintained a minute's silence to mourn the deaths.
Later she spoke to the reporters present at the event and said, "Thank you all for being here. The current situation has really disturbed and shocked all of us. I thank the French embassy for being supportive and considering the sensitivity of the situation. They have been kind to consider me and my family's request to postpone the celebration till another time. We as Indians can't go ahead and celebrate in such a situation."
"The terrible blasts have shook us, but we shall stand strong. They (terrorists) should get it straight that we won't let them succeed. You cannot break us, we all believe in deep strong Indian spirit. You will not get the better of us. God bless us and Jai Hind," she added.
French Ambassdor Jerome Bonnafont said: "The terrible series of blast has shocked all of us. It seems the time is not right. I pay my condolence and want the Indian people to know that the government of France is with them."

Mallika Sherawat accepts Kamaal R Khan’s challenge

Kamaal R Khan made news for his arrogance and rude behavior as the Big Boss house inmate. Now, the self proclaimed famous and talented actor and filmmaker has made a huge offer to our desi bombshell Mallika Sherawat. Apparently, KRK plans to make a film and wants Mallika to play the lead for which he has offered a lucrative 2 crores as the remuneration. He wants John Abraham as the male lead and the female lead is the role of a girl who flirts with many men at the same time.
"If you will do my film I shall pay you 2 cr and if the film will not be super hit then I shall pay you 5 cr as fine," KRK sent the tweet to Mallika adding, "I challenge you that one day you will accept my offer."
"Why did I offer film to John and Malika? According to script I need a man who is good boyfriend and a female who is having 3 boyfriends," KRK wrote on his Twitter page.
"Malika ji is very open minded girl she doesn't mind to have many boyfriends so people will accept her in that character easily," he added.

Aishwarya becomes the 1st Asian actress to receive 2nd highest French civilian award

It seems that mews columns can just get enough of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She was everywhere with the news of her pregnancy and then due to her controversy related to Madhur Bhandarkar's film Heroine.
Once again, she comes to limelight because of the honor she will receives with the prestigious Officer Dan Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres by the French Government in New Delhi tomorrow. This is the second highest civilian award in France and is conferred on people who have achieved immense recognition, because of their contribution in the fields of arts, culture or literature. Ash is the first Asian actress and the youngest Indian to win the honour. Other receivers of this award include Robert Redford, George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Shah Rukh Khan.
The French daily 'Le Figaro' declared this news stating, "She (Ash) is one of the most famous Indian actors in this country and outside the borders of India. Aishwarya will be made Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters, Wednesday, July 13, by the Ambassador of France in New Delhi, Jerome Bonnafont. According to a statement from the embassy, the ceremony will be attended by the family of the young woman in full."

Catch the deadly look of SRK in ‘Don 2′

Farhan Khan had most intelligently apprehended the success of his 'Don' and had left the movie at an ending which left it open for a sequel and sure enough 'Don 2', set to release on December 23, is the most awaited movie of the year.
The original one had ended with Roma (Priyanka Chopra) realizing that Don had survived and it was Vijay who had met his end. So, the sequel takes its lead here and in 'Don 2', Don will be seen chasing all those who had betrayed him. You can easily anticipate a lot of high-energy action in the flick.
While SRK, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri carry on from the original one, Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor will be fresh additions to the sequel.
