Zaheer Khan’s injury leaves team injured at Lords

Seems like, the injury of the fast bowler Zaheer Khan, might cost a lot to the whole Indian team at the test cricket in England. Duncan Fletcher, the coach of the Indian team said that the visitors will miss the chance of having a good day at the opening Test against the England.

Till Thursday, Zaheer was simply the best bowler for the Indian team at the Lord's. Later he had inured his left leg and had been to the hospital for a scan. Fletcher added that he is the bowler that everyone will be missing.

The coach did not even hesitate to say that the other bowlers in the team lacked experience and not having Zaheer in the team due to his injury could cost a lot for the team. In case if the fast bowler would have been there then he would have at least taken three to four wickets, which would have made the day, Fletcher added.

However, despite Khan's injury, the coach said that team had bowled reasonably well.
