After the success of the Mahindra Verito sedan in the Indian market, the company is now planning to give it a good facelift. The Verito was actually the rebirth of the Renault Logan, which could not take off in the market.

Later Mahindra had put its best in the marketing and the distribution of the sedan wholeheartedly due to which the sales had improved dramatically. The company sold 1,510 units of the Verito in June 2010.

Now looking at the sales of the sedan, the company has now decided to give a facelift to the sedan. Pawan Goenka, the president of M&M Automotive and Farm Equipment sector said that They have planned to get a refreshed version and the other will be a smaller car, which will be sub-four meter in length.

With the announcement of the facelift, the customers are expecting to get a fresh look of the sedan. With the even trendier looks, it is expected that the sales of the sedan might further improve.

Radio Taxis soon to be rolled out in Patna

The citizens of Patna in the state of Bihar, India will soon be able to avail the services of luxury taxis at affordable prices. The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation has planned to introduce radio taxis in the city from the month of August.

60 air conditioned taxis will soon be plying on the roads of Patna. The BSTDC has also planned to introduce metered taxis which will be 24 X 7 door to door service.

It is also been mentioned that the service will be provided in the public private partnership mode. This will enable the commuter to travel in luxury cars like SUVs and other sedan vehicles.

Ghanshyam Prasad Dafftuar, the general manager of the BSTDC said that these taxis will be available for the commuters round that clock. The only condition is that the cabs will not be on a sharing basis. The service will be only for those who want to book the taxi only for themselves.
