India Against Corruption, Arvind Kejriwal appeals for support

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 11:36 PM PDT

Arvind Kejriwal, an activist of India Against Corruption, on Monday had appealed people to protest against the latest Lokpal Bill that has been drafted by the government. Kejriwal has appealed the masses to come out and participate in 'padyatras'.

The activist also told the people to protest against the government by burning the copies of the Lokpal Bill that has been drafted by the government and organize candle lit marches to support Anna Hazare's version of the Lokpal Bill.

Hazare had earlier submitted his version of Lokpal Bill in which the Prime Minister comes under the radius of the Bill. Arvind argued that the new Bill does not cover any of the scams like the Commonwealth Games, Adarsh, Reddy Brothers Scam, fodder scam and the health mission scam.

The activist declared that Hazare's fast from 16th of August 2011 will be their last hope and that they cannot afford to fail this time. Kejriwal also added that if they failed this time then they would not get a chance again in future.

Kareena Kapoor not available for ‘Heroine’ this year?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 10:44 AM PDT

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor might have agreed to do the abandoned role for the movie 'Heroine', but things have not been finalized. Though Kareena has agreed the actress is not available this year and director Madhur Bhandarkar wants to start the shooting as soon as possible.

If at all Kareena signs on the dotted lines, then the actress will not be available this year. The 'Jab We Met' actress is booked for the whole year and can face date problems if she signs for 'Heroine'.

The actress is currently shooting for the upcoming movie Bodyguard opposite Salman Khan, after which she would be busy promoting for Ra.One and has to complete three other films. Kareena is due to complete Aamir Khan's next movie with Reema Kagti, Karan Johar's Short Term Shaadi and Saif Ali Khan's Agent Vinod.

Moreover, there are also reports that the actress is planning to get married to Saif in February 2012. So it seems like Kareena is a busy girl now and hardly has any time for Madhur. So if Madhur signs Kareena, then the director has to plan the release in mid 2012.
