Search Engine giant Google, has this time commemorated the 410th birth anniversary of the French Mathematician, Pierre de Fermat. Google has designed a special doodle for the birth anniversary of the mathematician.

The theorem states that no three positive integers x, y and z can satisfy the equation, Xn +Yn = Zn. The n integer here is greater than two. This was considered as Fermat's last theorem and also as his great theorem.

There could not have been a better theorem to commemorate the great mathematician. The doodle of the search engine is made on a black board, where the logo of Google is written in faded letters and the theorem is written with a chalk.

A caption too is added to the logo, when the cursor is pointed on it, which says, 'I have discovered a truly marvelous proof of this theorem, which this doodle is too small to contain.' Google is always known to bring out the best doodles in the past few years on different occasions. Since the year 1998, the search engine has created more than 900 doodles.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the much awaited new version of its hatchback of the Maruti Suzuki Swift today on 17th August. Swift has always been the favorite among the hatchback lovers in the country and with the launch of the new version, the response is more than what was expected.

The pre bookings of the car have already reached to 45,000 units. Such a response has never been seen by any other car company.

Since the company was on the verge of launching the new version of the Swift, the production of the older version was stopped a year back. Since then, Maruti Suzuki has been focusing on the new Swift.

Talking about the new Swift, the new version is better on comfort, safety and performance. Certain changes have been made on the exterior built of the car.

More space has also been provided along with a better performance. The price of the new Swift will be little higher than the earlier version. The new Swift is indeed going to prove itself as a good competitor against the other cars in the same segment.

Jan Lokpal Bill of Anna Hazare demand rejected by BJP

Posted: 16 Aug 2011 10:26 PM PDT

Though, India Against Corruption activist Anna Hazare is supported by the Bhartiya Janata Party in terms of peaceful protests, the party has rejected the demand to present the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Parliament. In a parallel protest, the BJP too has launched a protest against the Hazare team in the country.

Mr. Jaitley, from the BJP party has opined that dissent is the essence of democracy and the party has supported Hazare up to a limited point. He added that the last word should always be of the Parliament and not the civil society.

Jaitley also said that the citizens have all the right to protest and express their views. Similarly, BJP president Nitin Gadkari too had expressed a similar view on Anna Hazare saying that he did not agree on the demand by Hazare's team.

Gadkari had said that he does not agree of the presentation of the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Parliament instead of the bill that has been approved by the Cabinet.

Google buys Motorola Mobility for $ 12.5 Billion – a match made in heaven?

Google Buys Motorola Mobility For $12.5B, Says "Android Will Stay Open"

Search Engine giant Google inc., is buying Motorola Mobility for  $12.5 billion (or $40 per share), in cash.
A match made in heaven? Perhaps.

Google now has the mobile platforms and patents to expand on “Android devices have been activated worldwide—with over 550,000 devices now lit up every day—through a network of about 39 manufacturers and 231 carriers in 123 countries.”

As if Google needed help expanding.

For what it’s worth, Google will soon be able to do what Apple and Microsoft already do…put their operating system on their phones.

First question – Does the Creator care about what Google does?

Answer: The Creator cares about everything. Nothing escapes the Creator’s notice. But does the Creator interfere in business dealings? I don’t think so. We’d be hard pressed to find a Bible verse that says he does.

A match made in heaven – begs the question, “Does the Creator of the Universe care about such things as who Google is in bed with?”

I am reminded of a Yogi Berra story. Yogi noticed a batter coming up to the batter box making the sign of the cross before stepping in.

Berra said, “Can we just leave God out of this?”

What if Apple execs or Microsoft execs were praying (yeah, right!) for the deal to NOT happen?

Do you? Where? I am open to other opinions.
