Posted: 05 Sep 2011 01:00 AM PDT

Like a kid in a candy store, Shahrukh Khan has been brimming with excitement as the website of his much loved dream project Ra.One went online without any glitches on Thursday.

Shahrukh Khan has been celebrating Eid with his friends from the industry. The excitement of the festivities did not abate as it was replaced by the joy of seeing the official website of Ra.One online.

"And the exciting part is finally...finally the ra.one official website is working...yippee!!! (i hope there r no glitches as there always are) check it out...raonemovie.com...the only official site. raonemovie.com....just n case myopic ones like me didnt read it right," Shahrukh wrote on his Twitter page, though he himself succumbed to the minor glitch of confusing myopic with hypermetropic.

However, the Ra.One official site failed to attract many hits and Shahrukh asked his fans on Twitter to "rush to the site".

"Please all on my twitter account friends rush to the site like NOW!!! my office people saying i cant attract enuff hits on the site....prove them completely WRONG...go forth and THRONG...overload and bring this site DOWN!!! RAONEMOVIE.COM," Shahrukh wrote.

That Girl In Yellow Boots Movie Review Mp3 Songs Online Movie

Those familiar with Kashyap's oeuvre would concede that he has had a proclivity to lose himself in the skein of technicalities and to skew the story with his deliberate strokes to provoke the viewers. A kind of vanity of an iconoclast who loves to chuck the rulebook out of the window and plough his own furrow through a minefield of stereotypes has been apparent in many of Kashyap's works, with the possible exception of Black Friday.

In That Girl In Yellow Boots we see Kashyap adopting a more balanced approach, though no less provocative. We see the work of a filmmaker who has learned to control his craft rather than be driven by it. We see Kashyap dotting the film with metaphors that fall together like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle to tell a tale that's as disturbing as unpredictable.

Needless to say, the protagonist Ruth (Kalki Koechlin) is shoved through the seediness of Mumbai, its dark and musty hovels and sleazy massage parlours and the characters that populate these claustrophobic dens, the goons, drug addicts, lusty customers, just to find the father she can hardly remember. It's the story of a girl in search of love through a city that mercilessly tramples over her at every step of the way. And it's the story of incest and sexual abuse of the sordid kind.

Bodyguard makes Rs. 100 crore breaking records

Posted: 05 Sep 2011 12:36 AM PDT

The writing is on the wall. Salman Khan is a surefire money-minter at box office. His latest release Bodyguard has raked in whopping returns in the first extended weekend of its release.

On its opening day itself, Bodyguard broke the first-day collection record by touching the Rs. 20 crore mark, surpassing the opening day collection of Salman's last year's hit Dabangg. Now, Bodyguard boasts of the best ever weekend for any Hindi film.

The movie has netted about Rs. 86 crore in the first four days from the Indian market alone. If you add to this the movie's collections from abroad, the figure surpasses the Rs. 100 crore mark. This is way above the first week collections of Dabangg (Rs. 81 crore) and 3 Idiots (Rs. 80 crore).

There was no let up in the audience response during the long weekend following the film's release on Wednesday. Though many critics have slammed the movie, the footfalls continued to pour in.

Faced with stiff competition from Bodyguard, the other two releases of the week, That Girl In Yellow Boots and Bol hardly drew any crowd, though both the films got critical appreciation.
