| IPL 2010 to begin with a bang on March 12, 2010 Posted: 10 Mar 2010 11:08 AM PST The third season of IPL begins with a bang with the first match of IPL 2010 set to take place on March 12th with the face off between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The IPL 2010 is expected to offer a lot more adrenaline rush than before with Lalit Modi promising much more fireworks in this third edition of the IPL.  IPL 2010 The IPL 3 player auction was held just recently in which Trinidian Kieron Pollard bagged the highest pay package by Mumbai. While Shane Bond was taken by Kolkata Knight Riders. Thought the neglect of the Pakistani players in the IPL 3 auction had caused much furor. KKR owner Shahrukh Khan had to face the ire of the Hindu politicos over the issue. As for the teams, Delhi Dardevils look out as the main contender to claim the IPL crown this time. They managed to reach the semifinals of the previous two editions but failed to convert. A formidable batting line up with Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir in tow and Dilshan, Warner and De Villiers for company, it is something the bowlers fear. Bowling will be lead by Nehra and Derk Nannes. They are almost sure to make it to the semi finals again. The worst hit team due to injuries remains Chennai Super Kings with Jacob Oram and Andrew Flintoff withdrawing a long time back. The team will depend on Dhoni, Raina and Hayden for the fireworks. Ntini and Muralitharan will be the key bowlers for the team. They might just end up missing the semifinal spot. Royal Challengers Bangalore has one of the strongest teams of the tournament with hard hitting players like Cameron White, Pieterson and Taylor. Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher are two ever dependable players in the team. Captain Anil Kumble will be leading the bowling attack. It might quite be possible for them to go all the way again. Deccan Chargers though will be the one dreaming for the golden repeat of their success last year. With Symonds available for the whole tourney and Gilchrist and Gibbs ready to fire, it will be interesting to see whether they'll be able to put back the memories of the first season and win this time. Mumbai has the biggest signing in Kieron Pollard and it will be interesting to see how he performs after a tremendous show in the Champions league matches. Sachin Tendulkar, Jayasuriya and Duminy would surely like to be in party. While Zaheer Khan, Harbhajhan and Malinga will lead the attack. If Mumbai play to their potential, there is no stopping them. Rajasthan Royals had a dream start in the first edition but the side was seen struggling in the second edition. A lot will rely on Shaun Tait and Graeme Smith this time. Warne will have to be really shrewd to get his side through. Kings XI Punjab has to perform up to there level if they've to make it. Yuvraj Singh and Sangakkara will have to fire from the start. Only their own underachievement will stop them from making it to the semifinals. Last but not the least, Kolkata Knight Riders with their new coach Dav Whatmore will be trying hard again to find their place under Ganguly's captaincy. Gayle and McCullum will also have to perform to their best ability if KKR have to make any mark. The IPL 3 is expected to trigger off a lot of emotions among the cricket fans again and the enthusiasm will be contagious enough to make the show a trigger a success again. Officials told today that Corey Haim was found dead around 2:15am. He was at Coroner’s Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said Wednesday that Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center located in Burbank, when he was found dead.  Corey Haim The Death reasons are still unclear and the final details and reason of Canadian-born actor, Corey Haim, death will be disclosed after autopsy. Corey Haim became famous after he appeared in the movie Lucas in the year 1986. He also got a hit in 1987's movie The Lost Boys.
