The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam in any stream from a recognized Board at the first attempt (Maths and English compulsory) and should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks at this examination. Candidates who have not cleared the 10+2 exam in the first attempt are NOT eligible to apply for the admission to the courses. Further, those candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam by doing a part-time course or through distance learning/correspondence/ externally/open school are not eligible to apply for the courses. Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 examination can also apply but they will have to produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time. Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 examination from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must Produce in writing from the Board/University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA obtained. Diana Penty has been signed on to play the lead actress role in Imtiaz Ali’s new upcoming film Rockstar. The Rockstar film has been in the news ever since fim director Imtiaz ali approached Katrina Kaif for the female lead role but she refused to do this role. Imtiaz ali then almost signed Anushka Sharma for that lead role but then he decided to take a new face, would work better. The fact that Diana Penty had starred in an advertisement with Ranbir kapoor worked in her favour. Rockstar is Imtiaz ali’s most ambitious project till date. Initially, John Abraham was supposed to star in the film and it was to be produced by UTV Productions. Then Love Aaj Kal happened and Ranbir kapoor and Ashtavinayak came on board instead. A volcanic eruption in Iceland, which has thrown up a 6 km (3.7 mile) high cloud of ash and broke up air traffic in northern Europe, has grown more intense, an expert said on Thursday. The eruption under the Eyjafjallajokull glacier — 10 times more powerful than another one nearby last month — showed no sign of abating after more than 24 hours of activity, University of Iceland volcanologist Armannn Hoskuldsson said. “It’s becoming more intense, but there will be no lava — this is purely an explosive eruption,” he told Reuters. To the east of the volcano, thousands of hectares of land were covered by a thick layer of ash, while a cloud was blotting out the sun in some areas along the southern coast of Iceland, local media reported.
Most of the 700 people who were evacuated from their homes on Wednesday were still huddled at Red Cross emergency centres set up nearby, an official told Reuters. Isro GSLV-D3 rocket launch fails as two small engines failed to ignite. Indian space engineers lost contact with a Geo-synchornous satellite launch vehicle (GSLV-D3) rocket carrying the geo-stationary experimental satellite (GSAT-4) showcasing new indigenously built booster technology on Thursday very soon after its launch, in a major blow to the country's space ambitions. Country India has implemented cryogenic fuel technology after 18 years very hard work by scientists to launch heavy satellite after US denied Russia to transferring this technology. Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) Chief K. Radhakrishnan told reporters that the rocket began tumbling soon after launch "indicating the controllability was lost." "cryogenic engine ignited, the other two control rockets failed to work up the ignition.". He added, "Next GSLV-D3 launch will be carried out next year".
India is the sixth country to design and develop this cryogenic technology after United States, Russia, France, Japan and China. The technology is intended to launch heavier satellites into high orbits, about 36,000 kilometres (22,000 miles) from the earth, Isro has said.
