| Raavan Review (Pre Release): Mani Ratnam brings ‘Raavan’ to the silver screen after Guru Posted: 10 Jun 2010 03:50 AM PDT  Raavan Movie The six time National Award winner Mani Ratnam is back with ‘Raavan‘. After the huge success of ‘Guru’, he is back with his film ‘Raavan’ with almost the same lead combination. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead role, and the music by the music maestro, A R Rahman. In the film, Vikram is playing the role of Ram. Ash is playing the role of Sita. And Abhishek is playing the lead role of ‘Raavan’. The story is about a small village. Dev (Vikram) is a police office. [Listen aur download Raavan movie song click here]He falls in love with a classical dancer, Ragini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). So, a small love story goes, and eventually both of them get married. Dev gets posted in Lal Maati, a small town in northern India, and the real story begins in the town. In the small town, the law speaks the language of Beera (Abhishek Bachchan). As the film gets to the climax, there is a fierce battle between Ram and Raavan. Eventually, hate turns to love, and evil turns all good! Music: a r rahman, lyrics: gulzar Well, the songs prepared by the duo, who have won the Oscar Awards, and what else can you expect except perfection! The music track was released in the last week of April. And the variety is something really appreciable in the tracks. What makes the songs different from others are its unusual verses and lyrics. Beera and Behne De are the tracks I liked the best. Well, the songs are not the type you’ll fall-for the first time you listen them, but with time, you’ll definitely start liking them. |

Chicago has won the Stanley Cup for the first time in 41 years, and thus creating the history and entering the league. As a mark of honour and celebration, a parade is scheduled on Friday which will kick off at 10:30 a.m. Chicago Blackhawks marked their victory after defeating Philadephia Flyers in a very close match. In the finals, which took place on Wednesday night, Chicago pulled ahead in the overtime and lead to the victory in the game 6. Chicago won 4-3. The parade will kick off from Wacker Drive and Washington Street, and will then travel towards east to Michigan Avenue. |

 Amulya kannada Amoolya, who started her career as a child artist and has just completed her teens, is caught in a smooch scam. In the photograph, he is having a smooch act with director Ratnaja. The news has really set the Kannada film on fire, as this is the first such incidence that has come up in this part of the film industry. The image was out to media on Wednesday. Amoolya is shocked about the incidence. She is claiming that the image has been digitall morphed. She said, "Some perverted mind is behind this conspiracy. I am sure that this is the handiwork of film industry people who are jealous of my success at such a young age. I will resort to legal route to put an end to this episode." Ratnaja said, "Two weeks ago somebody tried to blackmail me claiming that he had this image. When I have not even done anything of that sort why should I give in to his demands? As I ignored him, he has released the image to the media." Ratnaja also said that the photographs were digitally morphed, and denied the rumors of anything cooking between the two. Ratnaja is known in the industry for his straight-forward attitude. Amoolya started her career through S Narayan’s ‘Cheluvina Chittaara’. This incidence has made a deep, and long lasting effect on the actress. She is already going through a series of setbacks. The first being the death of her father last year. Then, earlier this year, she was getting crank calls from someone; she later launched a police complaint for that. Then, some of her out of control fans even put some cheap graffiti on the wall of her house. And now this incidence. She said annoyingly, "I am fed up of all these. Sometimes, I feel like quitting this showbiz." |
