Bus Strike In Chennai | Chennai Bus Strike | Chennai News

Drivers and conductors of eight depots went on strike following a scuffle between a driver and counselor on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred when Ambattur counselor's associates beaten up a driver and conductor. The driver and conductor belongs to Anna Nagar depot.

People in various parts of the city and its suburbs faced difficulty in reaching their offices as MTC drivers refused to operate buses.

According to the sources, passengers were seen waiting for the bus in large numbers at various bus stations in Cehnnai.
