As of now the ruling political party of Gujarat, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in the Gujarat Panchayat and Municipality elections 2010. The outcome of the voting will exactly be known after the counting procedure is completely over.
The result will be published on the official website of the state election commission, Gujarat. The voting was held for the 24 district panchayats out of the 26 districts, for 208 taluka panchayats out of 225 and for 53 municipalities. The elections were held two days before on October 21. The current scenario is something like this – BJP is leading in 22 district panchayats that leaves just two for Congress. In taluka panchayats, BJP is leading with 48 against Congress with just 19. Municipalities counting – BJP 20 and Congress five. The voting has been done for total 4,875 seats for district and taluka and 1,890 seats for municipalities. The candidates fighting for the seats are 2,074 for district, 10,489 for taluka and 5372 for municipalities. |

Playboy June 2010 had a video of Sara Jean Underwood performing yoga without any clothes. The video is on the official website of the international men's magazine.
People in India have not favoured the idea of a naked model performing asanas. The President of the Universal Society of Hinduism, Rajan Zed has taken an action against the heads of Playboy magazine. He said, “Hindus are upset over what is the misuse of the age-old and revered system of yoga by Playboy for mercantile greed and we are urging the organisation to withdraw all its yoga-related products." He further added, “Yoga is one of the six systems of orthodox Hindu philosophy and it is highly revered in Hinduism. It is actually a serious mental and physical discipline by means of which the human soul can unite with the universal soul.” He said that the magazine should not try to disfigure the most valued yoga tradition because it hurts the sentiments of the devotees of yoga. |

Blackberry is heading to China. Blackberry will team up with China Mobile Communications to launch its service throughout China. The first step for Blackberry will be to focus on people who bring their devices overseas and then start selling a Chinese version at some later date. The second largest phone carrier in China, China Unicom already has a service similar to the one Blackberry offers. It’s called, and I couldn’t believe this when I read it…. Redberry . 5,000 years of history and somebody couldn’t come up with a better name than that? The best they could do was steal an idea from someone else and just change the color? Isn’t anybody in China embarrassed by this? What do you think?

I went to Shanghai last night. The last time I was there someone offered to find me a Shanghai girl. When I repeatedly turned him down, he followed up with "How about a Shanghai boy?" Anyway… My wife and I went there vitually last night at the movies. For the second flick she went her way and I wandered in to MI 3. I am not a Tom Cruise fan. I am too ugly and he’s too everything else. But, I could definitely be a And that is one of the MAIN reasons she showed up in this flick. How many tickets, I wonder, have been sold or will be sold in China, especially Hong Kong because this movie has Maggie in it and because much of the action takes place in Shanghai? I think Hollywood stages these movies and recruits actors from China to help add to the bottom line, if for no other reason than to find an audience there. It’s good business. First Zhang Ziyi and now Maggie Q. Who else is in the wings? At least Hollywood has good taste in girls. Which one do you like best?

I found a list that purports to know who the 10 most beautiful girls in China are. What this means to me is that these are the girls we are likely to see next on the big screen in the magazines and such here in the US as America tries to capitalize on everything Chinese AND get the average Chinese to look/read/watch. Is that what I am doing here? Hmmm…. Here is number 3. This is Jiang Peil Ling.
Honest, this picture scared me. She looks like a lion. Perhaps that was the intent, but whoa! Too much reality.
She goes by the English name Shirley Jiang. (A nice normal name.) Shirley is a young 27 years old and is from Harbin…the cold country. I was there, but, dang it, I didn’t see her.
