Indian film Ghajini breaks all records at the Box office

Indias highest box office earner Bollywood film so far 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ)' of Shah Rukh Khan has lost to Aamir khans latest film Ghajini as biggest hit at the box office. Ghajini has broken the record established by DDLJ 13 years ago when it comes to the box office collection.

‘Ghajini’, which is a romantic action thriller that covers the lifestyle of a rich business tycoon who suffers from short-term memory loss following a violent strike on his head, has earned Rs.2 billion ($41 million) in less than two weeks of its release.

Ghajini has grossed Rs.1.62 billion in Indian markets which is the highest and Rs.390 million have come from overseas markets till end of second week. The film is still running to packed houses and may cross many more milestones.

Kanimozhi, a Tamil flick has been released on November 26, 2010. It is a simple romantic film starring Jai and the beautiful Shahzahn Padamsee in the lead roles.

The screenplay of Kanimozhi has been written by Sripathi Rangasamy. He has also directed the film. At one point you tend to feel the overdose of emotions but the actors have managed the stuff quite well.

Jai, who is playing the role of a guy called Rajesh loves Shahzahn madly. He is unaware of the girl's name till the end. Rajesh takes it for granted that the girl too loves him the way he does.

Actors have given complete justice to their respective roles. Shahzahn, who is playing a character of a simple had another movie that also released today, 'Orange' that stars the Genelia D'Souza and Chiranjeevi's son Teja. She feels that both of her films have great potential to be big hits at the box office.

If the plot of Kanimozhi interests you, it’s time you go and watch it in theatre.

The trade surplus with China this year is likely to hit one quarter of a trillion dollars.

The United States and Germany whine because they think the yuan currency in undervalued.

Though the yuan=dollar rate has been adjusting, the trade deficit continues to climb.

What's to think that if China cut the currency rate in half it would make any difference?

China posted $185 billion in trade surplus the first nine months of this year, more than ALL of last year, already.

And Christmas is coming….

China needs to:

1. boost domestic consumption

2. increase imports

3. encourage outbound investment

4. resolve the imbalance.

The rest of the world needs to make something that the Chinese want at a price they can afford….THEN the deficit will work itself out.

China's People's Liberation Army released a list of 59 fake military hospitals and research centers.

Doctors wrote prescriptions over the phone because doctors were on leave or running errands.

The only way to get to the hospitals is by phone or email. Their websites give fake physical addresses if at all.

One such hospital says it is in league with World Health Organization and has a WTO stamp on their web site to prove it.

Local governments are reluctant to ake action because they think it is the responsibility of the military to shut down these fake institutions.

So local governments don't know if they hospitals are legitimate or not? And the military has put out a list?

And people are still getting drugs with a phone call?

Am I the only one who thinks there is something wrong with this picture?

China's automakers are rolling along and rolling in the dough…sales of 4.58 million passenger vehicles in the first nine months are up 24% over the same time period last year.

Cars – up 26% – 3.44 million units

SUVs – up 52% – 252,000 units

MPVs – up 21% – 165,000 units

September sales were up 16.5% over August.

The top ten brands had a 33% market share, including –

Jetta (FAW-Volkswagen),

Santana (Shanghai Volkswagen),

Buick Excelle (Shanghai General Motors),

Camry (Guangzhou Honda),

QQ (Anhui Chery),

Xiali (FAW Tianjin).

The three largest Sino-foreign carmakers -

FAW Volkswagen

Shanghai Volkswagen

Shanghai General Motors.

Chery Motors was fourth.
