Chrome OS unleashes its first notebook

Google unleashes the first Chrome OS enabled notebook, Cr-48. However the Cr-48 according to sources, it will not be available in retail. It will be only available through pilot program launched by Google.

Those who will apply for the notebook will also be expected to send regular feedbacks on their experience with the notebook and the Chrome OS. Moreover the program will be only available in the US.

The Cr-48 is having an interesting hardware with a 21.1 inch full size keyboard and a large touchpad along with integrated pad buttons. The device features 8 hours of battery life with 8 days of standby, 3G support, flash storage, webcam for video chat and WiFi

The notebook takes just 10 seconds to boot and will be ready to use. The notebook has a ARM based processor and consumes almost no power. The device has a matt finish and is a complete silent device with low thermals.

How many ways can someone think of to commercialize the Grand Canyon?

Apparently the Hualapai Tribe was feeling neglected and some dude with $30 million was willing to 'help' the tribe out.

Now for $25 and the cost of getting into Grand Canyon anybody can walk shaky kneed over the top and look down 4000 feet over the Canyon.

To be sure, the Canyon will be visited by what seems like half of Asia, Japan, China, Korea…golly, make it the whole world, and the thing will be paid for in no time.

Gee and how about a bridge all the way across next time?

IE 9 Adorned with New Anti-Tracking Feature for More Privacy

Internet Explorer 9 is experiencing huge competition from its contemporaries. But, this prevailing competition is not pulling it back hard and zooming faster than earlier. For this, now it is added another new feature anti-tracking for the improved privacy.

Currently users over the internet experiencing online tracking and this tracking will be used for power behavioral advertising. Now, this added feature will inform the browser permitted and prohibited third-party content quite easily.

Here, this anti-tracking feature will provide the tracking protection lists through the opt-in facility. Microsoft conformed that it will not provide this tracking list protection itself and needs the user to choose the option.

Sometimes third parties will come forward to provide this tracking protection list to the users. These lists are worth enough if come through privacy advocacy groups or ad-blocking advocates or individual enthusiasts.

Generally, these tracking protection lists will update themselves automatically on every week. Here, IE 9 already equipped with needed features for this purpose such as InPrivate, Filtering and tracking device.

This tracking protection lists specifics are not finalized yet by the Microsoft. Currently, a file format has been chosen for this purpose. Exact specifications will be soon available under a Creative Common Attribution License.

Google Chrome OS pre-installed Netbooks to be launched by Samsung and Acer in 2011

Google Chrome OS is currently gaining attention from all parts of the world. The wait for the Google's Chrome OS computers has to be continued until second half of 2011. Samsung and Acer netbooks are slated release with Chrome OS 2011.

Currently, Google making few of the unbranded and Chrome OS-based netbooks exclusively for developers and few others for the testing purpose. This is to make the Chrome OS perfect for the usage.

Google officially made an announcement in San Francisco along with Chrome based Web Store on 7Th December. Currently, Chrome browser has around 120 million users all over the world.

Google VP of product management, Mr. Sundar Pichari mentioned in an interview about the customer support for the latest OS as "it is a valid concern, but that OS in incredibly simple and that Google doesn't expect to have many confused or troubled customers when it's ready for primetime". Also, confirmed that "Google will provide live support for those that receive a Cr-48 and help with any and all issues".

The University in Burdwan was started in 1960, and awarded 4 star status by NAAC is a public university located in Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. It functioned from 15 June, 1960 with 30 undergraduate colleges spread over five districts that came underthe jurisdiction of the univ. The new University Act is in force from 1981.

Burdwan University has announced the results for the year 2010. The results have also been published on the official website of the University. The website is currently not working, hopefully it will open up in some time

’3 Idiots’ movie Tamil and Telugu remake shooting cancelled

The remake of the block buster movie '3 Idiots' in Telugu and Tamil languages whose shooting was supposed to begin from 6th December, got cancelled. Tamil actor Vijay and Telugu actor Mahesh Babu were according to sources, roped in for the remake of '3 Idiots'.

The shooting of the movie has been cancelled as both the actors have reportedly dropped out of the project due to different reasons. Vijay withdrew from the project as he was having some date problems. Certain changes were made in the shooting schedules which did not suit the actor.

While Telugu actor Mahesh Babu, opted out of the project due to the reason that he was not happy with the current casting of the movie. Sources close to the unit told that the shooting was about to begin on 6th December in Dehradun.

Actress Lleana was chosen to do the role of Kareena Kapoor in the remake. Bollywood movie '3 Idiots' was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie proved to be the biggest block buster hit of the year 2009.
