The Karnataka Examinations Authority will be declaring the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) on 30th of May 2011. The CET is conducted to offer admissions to the undergraduate courses of medical, engineering and dental courses within the state.

The announcement of the declaration of the results was given by the Karnataka Examinations Authority in a press release. According to the press release, the examinations will be declared by 11 am.

Students can check their results from the official website of the KEA at www.kea.kar.nic.in or from www.cet.kar.in. Apart from the websites, the results will also be published across all the 235 centres across the state, where the examinations were held.

The results can also be known with the help of the mobile phones. Type RESULT (space) CET (space) registration number and send it to 56263. Moreover, BSNL subscribers can come to know about their rank by calling to the number 1255596, while the other subscribers can call to 505101096. Results on the websites will only be published after 1pm.

The results of the Plus Two (12th class) arts, science vocational courses and commerce are likely to be declared by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) of the state of Orissa. The examinations of the 12th class examinations were conducted in the month of March and April 2011.

Students, who have appeared for the examination can check their results on the official website of the CHSE Orissa at http://orissaresults.nic.in/, after the results have been published. The students have to just enter their respective roll numbers to access their results.

The students can also check their results with the help of their mobile phones. Type Result (space) OR12 (space) roll number and send it to 56263. For ex-regular students, instead of OR12 type OR12x.

Certain examinations of the subjects like Geology, Biotechnology and Electronics were reschedules, which came very close to the two major national level examination of IIT-JEE and All India Pre-Medical Test. But the CHSE controller of examination J Behera had assured the timely results of the examinations.

Google street view debuts in India from Bangalore

After Google Maps, the search engine's Street View will soon be available in India. Google will soon be going around in the city of Bangalore for collecting images for the street view of Google.

This is the first time the search engine has started the service in India. The service is already available in 27 countries and more than 100 cities abroad like the United Kingdom, California, Italy and France.

The unique service will allow the users to have a 360 degree view of the streets in the city. Street view will allow the user to get an idea of a restaurant even before you go there. Or one can even get an idea of the exact images of the city in case of you are planning a holiday with friends and family.

Google cars will soon be seen on the streets of Bangalore to capture the images of the public locations in the city. Moreover, Google Trike has also been arranged for the service. The Trike is actually a three wheeler auto rickshaw with a camera system on the top of the vehicle. Vinay Goel the Product Head of Google India, has said that they decided to start the service form the city of Bangalore as it is the IT capital of India.

NDA and Naval Academy results II 2010 announced

The results of the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination II 2010, have been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSE). The examinations were conducted by UPSE in August 2010.

The Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defense had also conducted interviews along with the written examinations. Examinations were conducted by the UPSE for the admissions in to the Navy, Army, Air Force Wings of the National Defense Academy.

The results of the examinations can be accessed by the candidates, who have appeared for the examination from the official website of the UPSE at http://www.upsc.gov.in/.

The candidates can also access the results from http://www.pib.nic.in/newsite/mainpage.aspx.

For more information the candidates can also call during working hours on the following phone numbers, 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543. There are names of 742 candidates, who have been selected.

There may also be some common names in the three lists of Navy/Army, Naval Academy and Air Force. According to the Government notification, the number of vacancies for Army is 195, 66 for the Air Force, 39 for the Navy and 35 for the Naval Academy.

SSCL results 2011 Tamil Nadu to be announced today

The results of the SSLC 10th class are likely to be declared by the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education today on 27th May 2011. Students who are looking for the results can refer to the official website at

The examinations of the SSLC 10th class for the year 2011 were held in the month of March and April 2011. More than 10,00,000 students had appeared for the SSLC examination from the state of Tamil Nadu in India.

Meanwhile, the results of the other south Indian states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala have already been announced. The results of the Maharashtra SSC results are expected to be announced before 15th June 2011.

Madhyamik results 2011 WBSSE to be announced today

The results of the Madhyamik examinations are expected to be announced today on 27th May 2011 by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. More than 10 lakh students had appeared for the examinations conducted for the year 2011.

The results are expected to be declared after 11 am and will be published at the official website of the board at

http://wbresults.nic.in

Students can check the results after the results have been announced.

The appeared students can also access the results through their mobile phones by sending a text message. Type WB10 (space) roll number and then send it to 56263.

This year, the Madhyamik examinations were surrounded with controversies. The board at a point had to postpone the physical science exam, as they were supposed to appear for the history test in Dinhata in the state of West Bengal, India. Later the matter was even stretched after the report was published in the news paper. A press conference was organized by the board to assure the students and parents that the examinations will be held in a fair way and the results will soon be declared.
