The resolutions of the first Conference together with the recommendations of the sub-committees as confirmed at the second Conference were laid before a meeting of the Allahabad University on March 12, 1920, and it was decided to appoint a sub-committee to consider them and report to the Senate. The report of the sub-committee was considered at an extraordinary meeting of the Senate on August 7, 1920, at which the Chancellor presided, and the scheme was generally approved. In the meantime the difficulty of incorporating the Medical College in the University had been removed. During the month of April 1920, Mr. C.F. de la Fosse, the then Director of Public Instruction, United Provinces, drew up a Draft Bill for the establishment of the Lucknow University which was introduced in the Legislative Council on August 12, 1920. It was then referred to a Select Committee which suggested a number of amendments, the most important being the liberalising of the constitution of the various University bodies and the inclusion of a Faculty of Commerce; this Bill, in an amended form, was passed by the Council on October 8, 1920. The Lucknow University Act, No. V of 1920, received the assent of the Lieutenant-Governor on November 1, and of the Governor-General on November 25, 1920.

Tatum Oneal heartbroken of Farrah's passing

Tatum Beatrice O'Neal (born November 5, 1963) is an American actress best known for her film work as a child actress in the 1970s. She remains, at the age of 10, the youngest actor to win a competitive Academy Award.

"I would not say that it was an oversight," Leslie Unger, spokeswoman for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, told E! News. "No matter how carefully and how conscientiously people address who is included, there are people who just simply can't be."











She added: "In any given year there will always be some people that other people think should have been included and that there's more justification for one person versus another," says Unger. "It is impossible to include everybody."



"I am truly heartbroken of Farrah's passing," Tatum said of the mother of her younger brother Redmond. "She was an inspiration to all women; an icon in her own right. She brought so much joy to millions and there are no words as to how much she will be missed."

He is currently the wealthiest person in the world with a net worth of around US$53.5 billion through his holdings. He was able to raise money for a telecommunications company by purchasing standby letters of credit which enabled him to obtain guaranteed loans which provided the capital.

Slim is now worth $53.5bn, thanks mainly to his stake in America Movil. Gates is second with $53bn in the bank - boosted by a 50 per cent rise in Microsoft's share price which added $13bn to his cash pile this year.











"This is a number brought out by a magazine that doesn't concern us, or worry us," Elias Ayub said, echoing Slim's 2007 comment about the top spot that had eluded him for years: a Spanish phrase — "me es impermeable" — that roughly translates as "I'm impervious to that."

Slim is known for wearing inexpensive suits and rarely using the computers his companies sell, preferring old-style paper notebooks. A baseball fan, his indulgences are largely limited to cigars and diet soft drinks.

Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris (born March 10, 1940) is an American martial artist, actor and media personality. After serving in the United States Air Force, he began his rise to fame as a martial artist and has since founded his own school, Chun Kuk Do.

Norris appeared in a number of action films, such as Way of the Dragon in which he starred alongside Bruce Lee and was The Cannon Group's leading star in the 1980s. He next played the starring role in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger from 1993 to 2001. As a result of his "tough guy" image, an Internet phenomenon began in 2005 known as Chuck Norris facts, ascribing various implausible feats of strength to Norris.

Corey Feldman Corey Haim was winning fight with drugs

Corey Scott Feldman (born July 16, 1971) is an American film and television actor. He became known during the 1980s, with roles in the Hollywood films The Goonies, Stand by Me, and The Lost Boys.

Haim "really became a man" in recent months as he helped his mother in her battle with cancer, Feldman said. "He's been there for her, taking care of her, being responsible," he said.










Haim, 38, was taken to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, early Wednesday, where he was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m., Los Angeles County Deputy Coroner Ed Winter said.

"I am so sorry for Corey, his mother Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend.

Twilight: Eclipse Upcoming Movie Launched Preview

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is an upcoming romantic-fantasy film scheduled for release on June 30, 2010. It is based on Stephenie Meyer's Eclipse and will be the third installment of The Twilight Saga film series, following 2008's Twilight and 2009's New Moon. Summit Entertainment greenlit the film in February 2009. Directed by David Slade, the film will star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg will be returning as screenwriter. Rachelle Lefevre, who played Victoria in the previous two installments, will not be returning due to scheduling conflicts; instead, Bryce Dallas Howard will play Victoria. It will be the first Twilight film to be released in IMAX.











The Eclipse trailer is released at a time where two of Twilight's stars are preparing for big movie reviews and the Twilight Eclipse trailer certainly won't hurt. Robert Pattinson's Remember Me hits theaters on March 12, 2010 and Kristen Stewart's flick The Runaways is set for release on March 19, 2010. The two films are released well before the actual movie Twilight Eclipse is set to air, as the film is scheduled for release on June 30, 2010.

Robert Pattinson recently made an appearance on The Early Show to promote Remember Me but Pattinson looked quite tired as he took to the Early Show set. During the interview, Robert Pattinson compared Remember Me to films from the '70s before sharing thoughts on the fame that surrounds Pattinson due to Twilight and New Moon.

Howard Stern says 'Precious' will be Sidibe's last big role.

Howard Allan Stern (born January 12, 1954) is an American radio and television personality, author and actor. He is most notable for hosting The Howard Stern Show, which since 2006 has been exclusive to Sirius XM Radio, an uncensored satellite radio service. Stern and his show gained widespread recognition while on "terrestrial" airwaves, where he was labelled a "shock jock" for his outspoken and controversial nature. Stern is the highest-paid radio personality in the United States, including the most fined, following a history with the Federal Communications Commission over indecency that began in 1986.










She received accolades for her breakout role in "Precious," and has been well-received by Hollywood. Well, not all of Hollywood. Radio talk show host Howard Stern used some harsh language about actress Gabourey Sidibe on his Sirius radio talk show March 8, 2010.

The golfer's No. 1 mistress, Rachel Uchitel, was reportedly banned from participating in the contest due to a settlement agreement with Woods, TMZ.com reported.

No word yet on who rated the women, though it's doubtful Woods' estranged wife, Elin, accepted Stern's offer to judge.

Corey Haim Found Dead Reported

A Toronto woman who went on a date with Corey Haim five years ago said it was clear the former teen movie star was battling personal demons.

The woman, who asked to remain nameless, took Haim to his first Toronto Raptors game in spring 2005 after a conversation with him over the phone, when he asked her out.









"I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I'm devastated by his death," she has told Radar Online

The bereaved parent, who is divorced from Haim's father Bernie, telephoned emergency services early on Thursday and he was later taken to Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center, in Burbank, California, where he was pronounced dead.
