sapnaa babul ka…. bidaai, started off on the 10th of October, 2007 with many hopes at 9pm on plus. During these 1 1/2 years it has emerged as the top show of television. Earlier it was tuned to 1 hour which made the story very interesting due to the uprising of many twists in the show. However from the past 3 to 4 weeks, the story is getting a bit too boring due to over-acting of alekh, and mental disabled man as sometimes he is the smartest man in the world(eg. in judging who is a perfect groom dost for sadhna) and sometimes behaves like a 7 yr old child(in neglecting feelings that sadhna has for him and how bad she will feel if she comes to know this).

American Idol is a reality television competition to find new solo singing talent. Part of the Idol franchise, it was created by Simon Fuller as a spin-off from the British show Pop Idol, of which two series were broadcast between 2001 and 2003. Debuting June 11, 2002, as American Idol: The Search for a Superstar on the Fox network, the show has since become one of the most popular in the history of American television. It is currently the #1 program in the Nielsen ratings and is one of only three that have been #1 for five consecutive seasons, along with All in the Family and The Cosby Show.

The former Westchester congressman, whose songwriter daughter Kara DioGuardi stars on the hit TV show, formally announced Tuesday he's seeking the Republican nomination for the Senate seat held by Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.

"If you don't know who I am - ask my daughter," said DioGuardi during a press conference in Grand Central Terminal.

"Michael saw the video of me jamming with Carrie and her band," Orianthi says. "Michael Bearden, his musical director, was looking for a female guitar player. He asked around and my name came back to him four or five times. He showed that video to Michael, and Michael said he loved my playing and wanted me to come in a play for him."
