Judy Greer Overly Excited About Jeff

Posted: 11 May 2010 03:34 AM PDT

Judy Greer
This news naturally has Sheldon's cohorts struggling to wrap their sizable brains around the idea. And as for his roommate Leonard (Johnny Galecki)? Well, he's just excited to meet Dr. Plimpton -- really, really excited. He's a fan of her work, and he reacts to being in her presence the way a 13-year-old girl might react to meeting Justin Bieber.

Judy Greer, I'm probably a little overly excited about Jeff Who Lives At Home, the next comedy from directing brothers Mark and Jay Duplass. It's entirely because I saw their upcoming film Cyrus at Sundance and fell in love with it, and with their new movie starring Ed Helms and Jason Segel, it's hard too.

Take a look at the two clips below to get an idea of how Greer shakes up Leonard on "The Big Bang Theory." Next week on "HIMYM," she'll play a woman whom Ted (Josh Radnor) takes to see a movie called "The Wedding Bride" -- which is based on his relationship with Stella and not too kind to him.

Judy Greer (born Judith Laura Evans; July 20, 1975) is an American actress.

Monday (May 10) marks the beginning of an unofficial Judy Greer Week on CBS' comedy block. She guest-stars on "The Big Bang Theory" this week, then follows that up with a "How I Met Your Mother" guest spot on May 17.

Fisher Lied Girls On Top

Posted: 11 May 2010 03:19 AM PDT

To understand Jazz fans' misgivings over Fisher, you first have to understand the past. You have to know names like Derek Harper, Rony Seikaly, Dennis Rodman, and Phil Jackson who have had their share of disparaging things to say about the place. Just the other day, the Lakers coach told a Los Angeles based writer that to learn about Utah's culture he should check out Riders of the Purple Sage: a 100 year old novel that doesn't paint the most positive light on the Beehive State.

Remember when Vancouver Grizzlies fans watched a sour pussed Steve Francis storm across the NBA Draft stage like a petulant child? Jazz fans don't always have as vivid a visual, but a similar scene of rejection plays out far more often in their world.

It's also more comfortable than convincing the player that all the financial and transportation means exist for receiving proper child care in Los Angeles while continuing to play basketball in Salt Lake City. Carlos Boozer is proof of that. His own child, dealing with life threatening sickle cell anemia, couldn't be with him during the early stages of treatment because of the complications that could be brought on by Salt Lake's altitude.

Alexis Neiers Is Going Straight to Jail

Posted: 11 May 2010 03:11 AM PDT

Alexis is pictured above on the far left. Alexis Neiers is star of the E! show "Pretty Wild," with her sister Gabby, 15, their friend, Tess Taylor (real name Tess Adler), 19, and her mother, former Playboy Playmate model Andrea Arlington. Father of the Neiers, Mikel Neiers, is a former director of photography for "Friends."

Neiers entered a no contest plea and was ordered to surrender by June 24.

She is believed to have been part of the so-called "Burglar Bunch," which victimized stars including Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, and Rachel Bilson.

In addition to her criminal activity, Neiers stars on the E! reality series, "Pretty Wild."

After a police raid, one of the sisters, Alexis Neiers, 18, has been charged with first degree residential burglary and could potentially face up to 6 years in prison. Police say Alexis Neiers is part of what is being called the bling ring - a group of 6 thieves who allegedly targeted the homes celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Megan Fox, and in Neiers case, Orlando Bloom.

According to court documents, the property stolen from Orlando's home includes 5 Rolex watches worth $450,000 total, a $20,000 ring, two paintings worth $25,000 total and $4,000 in cash.

"Some of the items pilfered from Bloom's home, including two expensive watches, have not been recovered. Neiers may be responsible for part of up to $680,000 in restitution that may be ordered to be paid in the case, but her share may also be deemed minimal. Three of the other people charged in the burglary at Bloom's home have not yet gone to trial. Neiers told police she was drunk when she went to the house and didn't take anything there." Exactly. She did not take anything because Neiers is "like an Angelina Jolie, but even stronger," according to Neiers.

Why the plea? For one the girl told the police everything before she called her lawyer and they couldn't get the statements thrown out of the case. Two Orlando was willing to show up in court to get her locked away. "I think the fact that Orlando bloom [would testify], and the weight of a celeb testifying against Alexis, made us realize the odds were stacked against us," Rubenstein said. In addition to jail and probation, Alexis has to pay Bloom back and stay the hell away from him.

"I will always look back upon our past half dozen years together as my best days in professional golf. It would be a dream of any coach to have a student like Tiger woods and for me it has come true. Just so there is no confusion I would like to make it clear that this is my decision."

Hank Haney (born August 24, 1955) is an American professional golf instructor best known for coaching Tiger Woods and two-time major championship winner Mark O'Meara. A graduate of the University of Tulsa, Haney owns and operates four teaching facilities in the Dallas, Texas area.

Hank Haney, 54-year-old, American professional golf Swing trainer best known for coaching Tiger Woods and two-time major championship winner Mark O'Meara. A graduate of the University of Tulsa, Haney owns and operates four teaching facilities in the Dallas, Texas area. According to Golf Channel report, "I am incredibly grateful of the opportunity that I had to coach Tiger Woods," Haney wrote in an email to USA TODAY. "It was just time for both of us to go in another direction."

I have informed Tiger Woods this evening that I will no longer be his coach.

I would like to thank Tiger for the opportunity that I have had to work with him over the past 6 plus years. Tiger Woods has done the work to achieve a level of greatness that I believe the game of golf has never seen before and I will always appreciate the opportunity that I have had to contribute to his successes. I have also enjoyed the association that I have had with Tiger both on and off the golf course as I have had some incredible experiences. In coaching and teaching Tiger I have also learned a lot, not only about golf, but about people and life in general. It has been a great learning experience and along the way Tiger has elevated me in my own profession to a level that I never thought I would achieve before I had the opportunity to work with him.

"Tiger Woods has done the work to achieve a level of greatness that I believe the game of golf has never seen before. And I will always appreciate the opportunity that I have had to contribute to his success. However, I believe at this time that it is in both of our best interests for me to step aside as Tiger's coach.

"Just so there is no confusion, I would like to make it clear that this was my decision. Tiger Woods and I will always be fiends, but I believe that there is a time and place for everything and I feel at this time and at this place in my life I want to move forward in other areas."

Erica Blasberg Sports Star Dies Irresponsibility Of People

Posted: 11 May 2010 02:49 AM PDT

Blasberg has only hit the LGPA tour once this season and she finished 44th. Her former coach at the University of Arizona says that Erica Blasberg was a competitor. Her nickname in college was "Skip". Apparently her first task as a member of the University of Arizona team was to skip around the track. Blasberg did not know how to skip and quickly garnered herself a nickname.

Erica Paige Blasberg (July 14, 1984 – May 9, 2010) was an American golfer who played on the LPGA Tour.

"We are devastated to learn of the passing of Erica Blasberg," Callahan wrote in a statement. "To most of the world, Erica was known as a professional golfer, but she was more than that. She was a loving daughter to her parents and a compassionate and loyal friend. Erica had a good heart, was extremely kind and very thankful for what she had in her life.

Blasberg was a 3-time All-American as a junior, and played on the victorious 2004 American Curtis Cup team. She was the NCAA Freshman of the Year at the University of Arizona, and after two All-American college seasons she turned pro in 2004. Blasberg first earned LPGA status in 2005 and played in no fewer than 16 LPGA events each season since.

Erica was the face of Puma Golf since 2006, and appeared in commercials and advertisements for the golf brand category.

The next year, Ms. Blasberg began competing on the LPGA Tour, the top tour for women's golfers. In her more than five years on the tour, Ms. Blasberg rarely finished among the top contenders.

Her best result was a tie for eighth at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay, Hawaii, which she co-led with top player Annika Sorenstam after three rounds. She made 11 cuts in 23 starts that year and earned $113,428 during the only season that she finished among the LPGA's top 100 players.
