Five years ago, in May 2005, Alabama high school student Natalee Holloway disappeared during a senior class trip to Aruba. She was last seen leaving a bar with Joran van der Sloot. Van der Sloot has been detained several times, but never charged. Authorities in Chile confirmed van der Sloot entered their country Monday and said there was no record of him leaving. Police Inspector Douglas Rodriguez in Arica told The Associated Press that police were searching hotels and homes in northern Chile for the suspect. The killing occurred exactly five years after the May 30, 2005, disappearance of Holloway in Aruba, a Dutch Caribbean island. The recalled dishwashers were made with black, bisque, white, silver and stainless steel front panels and sold at department and appliance stores nationwide from February 2006 through April 2010. They cost between $250 and $900. Liquid rinse-aid can leak from the dispenser of certain Maytag brand and Jenn-Air brand dishwashers and come into contact with the dishwasher's internal wiring which can short-circuit and ignite, posing a fire hazard. CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled dishwashers and disconnect the electric supply by shutting off the fuse or circuit breaker controlling it. Maytag told the CPSC a dozen consumers reported problems with the heating element that started several fires including one that caused extensive kitchen damage. Maytag had an even larger recall in 2007 involving more than 2 million dishwashers that was prompted by 135 reports of fire caused by faulty wiring. "Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasure our relationship," White, 88, said in a statement. "It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that's even possible." McClanahan died early Thursday at age 76 after suffering a stroke, following the deaths of costars Bea Arthur last year at age 86 and Estelle Getty in 2008 at age 84. Her death comes just over a year after that of her former co-star Bea Arthur, who played Dorothy in the series. Estelle Getty, who played Dorothy's mother Sophia, died in 2008. Rue McClanahan's death leaves 88-year-old Betty White the only surviving star of the series. McClanahan, who battled breast cancer in the late 1990s, underwent heart bypass surgery in November 2009. She suffered a stroke about a week after her surgery and had struggled to regain the ability to walk and talk. However, as late as April, she was seen attending shows on Broadway to support her friends and colleagues at opening night performances. "She passed away at 1 a.m. this morning," her manager, Barbara Lawrence, tells PEOPLE. "She had a massive stroke." McClanahan, who played man-happy Blanche Devereaux on the still-popular '80s sitcom Golden Girls, had suffered a minor stroke earlier this year while recovering from bypass surgery. Lawrence adds that at the time of her death Thursday, McClanahan "had her family with her. She went in peace." The Golden Girls is an American sitcom that originally aired on NBC from September 14, 1985, to May 9, 1992. Starring Beatrice Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty, the show centers on four older women sharing a Miami home. And with a width of 73.2 inches, it splits the difference between the Mercedes Benz SL55 and the Aston Martin DB9. While the LF-A makes a major statement in how Lexus would define exotic sports car performance, it was conceived to express the emergence of a new direction in styling for the Lexus brand, globally. But simply having the $350,000 to buy one of the 500 LFAs Lexus plans to produce won't be enough: Buyers must be tapped by the company to be owners. People selected to purchase the car will be based on factors such as the other cars they own, where they live, and how often and where they drive.
