Watch Michael J. Fox Show Off the Nike Air Mag on Letterman Posted: 09 Sep 2011 12:58 AM PDT
Michael J. Fox showed up on The Late Show with David Letterman last night to officially announce the Nike Air Mag (aka the Back to the Future shoes). It's Marty McFly himself, ladies and gentlemen! It's heartbreaking to see the effect Parkinson's has on his body—especially since he's one of my all time boyhood idols—but it's the truth, Parkinson's disease is not a walk in the park. If you want to help contribute to the research of curing Parkinson's Disease, the Nike Air Mags are being auctioned via eBay right now. Some pairs went for as high as $75,000—so it's obviously not for everyone—but all the proceeds are going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. If you have the money, it's a really great cause. You already know it's a really great shoe. [Nikemag.eBay.com] |
AARON RODGERS HAS YOUR GQ RIGHT ON YOUR HANDS Hot pics Posted: 09 Sep 2011 12:55 AM PDT
There's a pretty big difference between Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez. Sanchez, following the example set by his bombastic head coach, Rex Ryan, proclaimed that the Jets would be visiting the White House this year, as a promise that his team would win the Super Bowl. Rodgers, on the other hand, won the Super Bowl. And while Ryan, Sanchez, and the Jets have left the hyperbole to the New York media (for now), we may have a little rivalry brewing between the two QBs nonetheless. Sanchez played the role of cover boy for this month's GQ, and by now even your grandparents should be making fun of the black tank top (seriously, he out-Fezzed Wilmer Valderrama). While it's not the first time that Sanchez has graced the pages of America's foremost metrosexual how-to manual, it has still been a lot of fun. Even Rodgers took notice during a recent interview with ESPN Radio. Image Courtesy: GQ |
NFL Going Hard on the Packers to win Super Bowl XLVI Posted: 09 Sep 2011 12:52 AM PDT
A franchise quarterback, a core of young playmakers and a Super Bowl win in hand. There's too much to like about the Green Bay Packers this 2011 NFL football season. Last weekend, four high-ranking NFL personnel executives, on the promise of anonymity, agreed to predict the conference champs and Super Bowl winner for the 2011 season, and all chose Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Green Bay Packers at least to return to the Super Bowl. Two picked them to win the title, a third chose New England and the fourth San Diego. "I think it's the Green Bay Packers," said one of the executives. "They have a young football team, they have everybody back. You have a franchise quarterback. The Green Bay Packers draft well and I saw a little bit in the preseason, looks like they have another big draft coming in. A lot of guys coming back." Katrina Kaif shows her tomboyish side Posted: 08 Sep 2011 11:55 PM PDT
We often hear of women being described as a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. Likewise, there appears to be many layers to the lively personality of the stunningly beautiful Katrina Kaif as well. A far cry from the skeletal, size-zero obsessed beauties, Katrina has retained her curves and femininity intact, even winning the tags like the sexiest woman in the world. So it is indeed amusing to see this alabaster beauty hop on a heavy motorbike and zip through the crowded lanes of Mumbai's labyrinthine streets. Yes, the dainty actress displayed her tomboyish side when she took a fan for a bike ride in Mumbai for an upcoming episode of UTV Stars' Live My Life. In the show, Katrina's fan, a 20-year-old Pooja Agarwal, gets to live a day like her favourite star does. |
